• Interact with a CGI web page

  Greetings OR Forums,

  I am developing a telescope pointing control system that needs data ephemerides generated from a Jet Propulsion Laboratory web site:

  The main interface of their horizons system is via Telnet which is precarious and is no longer supported by LabVIEW.  I was hoping that someone could advise me on how to start using LabVIEW to interact with the web page of cgi based at the above address.  If I can do it, I can retrieve the necessary ephemeris data and analyze inside LabVIEW using the commands of the base string.

  Is there a kit of basic tools that you can point me to interact with web pages or any code sample?

  Once I open firefox, it hangs on nearly every Web page. After a few minutes, a script error does not appear. The shutdown script does nothing most of the time.   It is a standard orientation which addresses the most common issues with Flash. I'm sure you've seen some of it before, but just in case:

  (1) make sure that all recorders/downloaders who interact with the Flash media are as up-to-date as possible, or turn them off.

  (2) disable graphics hardware acceleration in Firefox and Flash

  (3) turn off protected mode (Windows Vista/7/8)

• manipulation of Web page

  I did some research on the forums, but I can't seem to find someone who has directly solved this problem:

  I have data collected on a remote site. From time to time, once I save it to the C drive.

  I would like to transfer the file to a Web page, that all my co-workers have access to.

  To download this page to:
  (1) connect

  2) click a link

  3) click on another link

  (4) fill 3 boxes

  I know that you can interact with Web pages through ActiveX controls, but is it possible to do it by programming?
  Because I know exactly what I need to send to each box, I don't know how to do.

  Someone somewhere to start? Or a thread on what I missed?

  Sorry... we must have missed your original post... can happen... we volunteer our time here and can't always be caught.

  I think you can set the browser configuration settings from. With the browser running application, the BBKey, and select Options. Inside there are a number of different configuration items... a combination of those that should work for your situation. Sorry, I can't recommend the precise combination - everyone has a different situation. But if I had to guess, I would say that the site you're trying to go is not correctly coded for a mobile web browser. But, in the configuration screens you can, change the way your storm browser identifies Web sites - find this setting and change it to something else (perhaps IE or FF). So maybe the site will interact correctly with your BB.

  I'm climbing down an analysis (on Page 1) the second analysis (at Page 2) and must pass some parameters.

  According to the Oracle documentation below, this should work if I mention URL like:

  Column->-> Action links Interaction properties-> go to Web Page

  URL:

  Saw.dll? Dashboard

  But none of them work.  Shows when I zoom on the value, in the next screen, the browser address bar: http://Analytics/saw.dll?Dashboard and says Page not found.  Browser fails to add the name of the server in front of the URL.

  Are there additional requirements for this exploration work seamlessly?

  I have been using Open script 12.3 for the automation of the e - Business suite.

  When tried to save the actions performed with EBS\Forms, a problem as web page interactions are not saved. However, the actions of forms are saved.

  However, the normal web page navigation are saved with the help of the web registration.

  Problem has been resolved. Change the settings options of the Internet Local Intranet.

  Steps to reproduce:

  1. go to internet options

  2. go to Security tab

  3. Select the internet zone and goto at the personal level. Identify all the properties and try to reproduce the same on the local intranet.

  4. Goto to Local intranet custom level and make the change similar to the internet.

  The drop-down list of values are not be wrapped when the form is saved in PDF format. Please help!

  Just to be sure, we are on the same page (no pun intended), you say that you have a Web page that is not a pdf file which is a form and you want to turn into a file pdf with form fields. Basically to make a duplicate of the Web page, but in the form of pdf?

  If so, it can not be done with Acrobat Reader. Even with Acrobat, I do not think that this can be done automatically. You must print the Web page to PDF and then go and manually add the form fields.

  If you need something different, please provide more details.

  , I've been dev tests vCenter Orchestrator for BYU and have aired on a question. I also have a display of Web pages can I customize myself (because you can't do this at weboperator).

  Hi, I almost forgot the little I have learned on the development of web pages, so, I'm a noob total when it comes to this and I need your help.

  I saved as a web page complete hard this web page on my drive, but when I open it in Firefox or IE, it does not display as much as I need. I am mainly interested in show logo images as they appear on the original web page. Browsers just show them briefly when refreshing, but immediately hide them. I can see the image files downloaded to my hard drive and if I open the page in Dreamweaver it displays these images in the preview pane, but I can't make them display in browsers. Dreamweaver, I saved the page as in the folder where the images are and this has also updated the code with relative image links, but browsers still don't show them.

  I would much appreciate your help with this.

  Nancy, I do this all the time. In this case however, the images are photos that show the larger version when the cursor is over. When I saved the page finished, I saw that large images downloaded too and hoped to replicate this behavior from the page saved on my hard drive. I thought that it was a simple matter and now I think it's not.

  The site you are trying to copy uses sophisticated client-side and server-side script.  Unfortunately for you, unless you have all the scripts that make this interactive page, you're spinning your wheels.  Your local copy cannot perform as the site online because you are lacking necessary support files (Javascript, jQuery, etc...).
