Interchangeable speakers?

Can I use the speakers, initially supplied with my f1503 monitor, with my new monitor s2031?

My new monitor HP S2031, doesn't have an entry to power speakers that I used with my old monitor.  However, given that the speakers are powered, I have them linked to an adapter 12V/1 ampere, plugged into one outlet, the other end to the back of my computer audio output, speakers work very well.  I just wanted to return with this info.  Thank you.

  • speakers are weak

    Hello

    I have a macbook pro (17-inch, mid 2010) 2.66 GHz Intel Core i7 and I'm under Beta Sierra 10.12.1.

Recently I noticed that my speakers are extremely low.  With headphones it's correct, but without, I need the room to be completely silent - not even a fan runs - in order to hear.

    I'm tempted a restart of P R command-option without a bit of luck.

    Any suggestions?

I don't understand what you mean by "low"?

  • (Mid-2010) Mini Mac external speakers + Sierra

    Hello guys,.

I wonder about this new system. Since I downloaded it my external speakers have not worked. I have Aiwa speakers before 180 system. I tried to plug in the headphones or the internal speakers and nothing happens. The speakers still work b/c I hear static and I have tried plugged into themselves and I got a your hard. So my best guess is that Siri has messed up this older model Mac compatibility. So, what gives Sierra, I love so much that I have would be to demote, however there is no more Audio download of El Capitan.

Check your sound settings in system preferences. They could be eset with default values. Often just tilting head and on the output selections will 'wake up' the system.

Alternatively try a Starter course if the above does not help.

    ------

Restart in Safe Boot mode by holding down the SHIFT key at startup. Secure boot is quite slow because the operating system performs some cleanup and verification tasks, so give it time. Once you're completely connected, restart normally.

  • audio output lists only the internal speakers when usb is connected to the dac

This problem happened after I had used my mbp for months as music server in a stereo system.  When I have the mbp connected via USB to an external digital to analog converter (dac), audio preferences had always listed the CAD.  Now it lists only the internal speakers.  I tried to reboot, checked my UBS cable, checked my dac.  The only thing I've done recently is to create a playlist and sync a new iPod to copy the playlist we.  I don't know if that could have anything to create the problem of lack of dac, but I am a relative novice on computers.

Anyone have this problem or knows how to fix?

  • Speakers for iMac via USB Dongle

So, I bought a USB 3.5 mm dongle so that I could connect the external Boston CR6 speakers to my iMac. I get sound but it is pretty low. The volume level is the same if I plug the 3.5 mm plug into the hole in the back of the iMac.

I think it is a difference of impedance, or the iMac does not have enough juice to power the speakers (which are actually very small).

Is there anyone driving experience of the external speakers, via USB or directly via the 3.5 mm to 3.5 mm port? I will order a small amp if that's the problem?

Maybe audio HDMI or optical has more power? I don't see a spec (which I understand).

    10.11.6 running.

    Thank you.

FWIW, most if not all sound cards were never intended to push the non-powered speakers. That's why most of the 'computer' speakers are powered. You will need amplification of some sort.

  • its iOS is not always available through the speakers.

I tried to play a video on my iphone (latest version of ios) and the sound did not come through the speakers. I had to plug in the headphones. I tried youtube, facebook and play the sound through the speakers. What is the problem and how to fix it!

  • My internal speakers sound terrible?

I just buy my MacBook Pro (mid-2012) yesterday and something so expensive, my speakers are downright awful. I must admit that my musical knowledge is adequate (to not kill me if I use a little evil) but it feels like there is no bass or treble. They sound just so "hollow" If you know what I mean. When I plug the apple earbuds, they sound a lot and even on my audio computer Dell laptop for £300 sounds good (well, certainly much better than my current experience). Is this a common problem or is it just me?

Audio feels like I'm listening through them terribly cheap, really crap headphones (you know the ones you get with android phones)

    Hello

Yes I heard there was a problem on some of the new MacBook Pro, you can try pressing ⌘⌥2 (Command-Option-2) and it will bring up the equalizer. When you open go to the side where you see "pre-amp". If it isn't already, click on the box that says on and then turn it to the top. It might be useful it might not.

  • No sound when connecting the Macbook Pro to ext speakers.

    I have a MacBook Pro (retina, 15 ", mid-2014) running OSx 10.11.6 (El Capitan).

It has a combined audio port 1/8 "for two speakers and a microphone. The internal speakers work very well and the port works very well with a helmet. What does not work must connect external powered speakers like the computer speakers or the port on a radio. It worked perfectly with all other computers that I have ever owned, and judging from the page linked below it should work for this computer, too, so what's the problem?

Connect your Mac to a Hi-Fi, iPod, iPad, musical instruments or loudspeakers - Apple Support

I tried it with a 1/8 "cable this single sound of the door (no tape for micro), and (when it does work), I tried to first insert an adapter that split the audio and microphone, but it does not solve the problem.

    How to make this work?

I found the problem. When I plugged a cable into the headphone jack, the Mac automatically turned to the low volume - assuming I have connect headset. This is why I couldn't hear it. I open the sound applet in the system area and pushed back the volume of output to the top and voila - fixed.

  • No sound when guitar hung on the macbook air.  entrance monitoring, on strong connections.  Speakers as microphones, strangely, but nothing straightens guitar sound.

    Hi all

I'm operating out of a brand new MacBook Air.  I tried to interfacing with 2 separate 3.5 mm adapters, but also a USB adapter without success.  I have followed input turned on and I am getting no sound what so ever of the guitar.  Strangely, my speakers seem to act like microphones when I am connected, but nothing is to recognize that a guitar is plugged.

Very simple configuration.  The Paul > electric guitar string > guitar string 1/4 in an adapter of > 3.5 mm 3.5 mm adapter into the headphone jack of the computer (also tried USB adapter) > choose the guitar/bass track (also tried audio) > select input 1 (or USB) > monitoring of activated entry = absolutely no sound guitar!

Any guidance here will be very appreciated.

    Thank you!

The headphone jack is an exit, not an entrance and the USB is a digital input, your Les Paul is not digital, so that all the senses.

Get a USB preamp for guitar, connect through that.

    Nice axis incidentally.

  • Start Apple stereo speakers

Years ago Apple provides a set of round stereo speakers with a connector that is unusual (for me). I would like to find an adapter 3.5 mm for speakers to use elsewhere.  I don't know what I'm looking for, or where to find it.  Can anyone help?

I always use these Apple Pro Speakers, initially provided with the angle-poise iMacs. I use them with my mini 2012 (and previous machines) you can use the iFire Griffin (you need to find a used) and it allows to convert the minijack Apple Pro pregnant 2.5 mm by Firewire400 and audio 3.5 mm. I then a single with one end FW400 cable and 800 another. Then the FW & audio plug in the mini.

  • External speakers

    Hello

I have a MacBook Pro and a pair of Logitech Z10 speakers who were attached to the MBP for the past 3 years and have been great. I used it yesterday to listen to the music of Apple's music and went to do the same today, but the speakers have disappeared from my system. When I click the button of Air play they are not at all, I tried to unplug and re - plug but no avail. Can anyone help because it's driving me around the bend. I don't think it's something I've done. When I'm on Air play downstairs, the speakers work fine, but the Z10 do not appear as an option. Thank you.

Check the speakers with another audio source. It is the only way to confirm if the problem is with the speakers.

  • How can I get a pan left music to come out of these two speakers?

Logic Pro x, I have a split track (music on the left) and voices on the right.  I want only the music but when I pan the channel left out only of the left speaker.  How to make the music out the two speakers?

Right-click on the button String Format. This is the area to the left of the button entry indicating that. The pop-up menu allows you to set the string Format. By clicking the toggle button only between Mono / Stereo

For example, if you have a stereo Audio with stereo Audio track regions, you can choose to 'Left' and the logic set the Audio track in mono, using only the left in the region of the Audio channel. Definition of the string Format to 'Right' will only use the right of the region of the Audio channel.

    Hope that helps

  • MacMini-digital server: only internal speakers?

I've implemented a Macmini with digital music files to play through my stereo system with a remote ipad. But the mini will play only with internal speakers, even if it detects the CAD that I use.

I tried selecting the DAC in the audio section of the mini, and I open the Apple Midi file. Once again, the mini is aware of the CAD, but even when it is selected, the Mini sends the sound for only its own internal speakers.  Unknown yet, when I 'speaker setup' and test to the left and to the right, the sound test IS sent to the stereo speakers. Frustrating!

    Any help much appreciated!

Reset the NVRAM, according to > How to reset the NVRAM on your Mac - Apple Support and then try to choose external speakers.

  • Sound went along with internal speakers?

Hello, I use a MacBook Air laptop and my sound no longer works. When I go and check the internal speakers of available devices is not available sound remotely right LogMeIn, which I have no idea what it is, and the type is peripheral network. The output volume is at max as the input volume with headphones in or on the entry level not up or down in function speaks to me just randomly. Any response would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Just take your mac to any apple store, you need to change your speakers or try reinstalling your operating system in some cases that it may work

  • Internal speakers not working not

My sound system works through my headphones and speakers do not work. I've tried everything (I mean every single option) I found on Apple Support Pages, but I can't always solve this problem.

In my system preferences, the ability to choose internal speakers is not available. Help, please.

FWIW, you cannot select the internal speakers if you have whatever it is connected to the headphone design. If you are using USB or Bluetooth speakers, you can.
