Interface Client AM ADF

Hi all:

First thank you to see the post.

I have a question on the customer Interface of AM. According to the dev guide, we use when we need to expose the API AM.

But we can also add a listener or call the API AM since the managed beans. understand why we AM Client Interface.

or what we must use this Interface AM Client

User, you might be interested in reading this article from blog of Frank https://blogs.oracle.com/jdevotnharvest/entry/best_practice_invoking_business_services best practices by adhering to a request of beans module.

The second part of your question on the need for a customer interface: If you allow the use of the applicationModuleImpl allow you access to all methods, even the methods private or protected. That you do not normally. The client interface defines the methods of a customer, the user of the AOS, is allowed to use. These methods are defining the contract, as well as in what they do. Using the methods private or protected to an AM can break something as such methods should not be used outside.

If you look at the applicAtion of the data control module, you see that you only see vo and methods that are defined in the client interface.

  • How to access method Interface Client of App Mod from an another App Mod?

    Hello

    I have an application with a model project. It contains a module of application (say 'SharedAppMod') kept at the level of the session. There a few objects in view.
    A customer util Interface method is added to this SharedAppMod that is filtering for the object of said view with the said values and returns the result set. Structure is presented below.

    By SharedAppModImpl,

    lines filterUsingSecondaryRowSet (card) {} public
    Rowset resultRowSet = null;
    String [] attrNames = (String []) map.get('zoom') ("AttributeNames");
    Object [] attrValues = (Object []) map.get('zoom') ("AttributeValues");
    String viewObjectName = (String) map.get('zoom') ("ViewObjectName");
    ......
    ......
    }

    This project has been set in the jar to lib adf file to rest projects available in the rest of the applications. In so doing, given that this method of client interface is exposed under the control of data across applications, we are able to add an entry of the method described in our def file and run it to bean managed by discover the operation binding.

    But when you want to access the same method of AppModImpl or viewObjImpl from the rest of the applications, we do not know how to access.

    Can ppl give you an idea on how this can be done?

    Thanks in advance.

    Kind regards
    Julien V

    You can add the other module of the (shared) application to your application root module (main). Double-click the application root module and select the tab "DataModel" develop research of node n 'ApplicationModuleInstances' of the other module of application on the left side of the random. Select it and it shuffle to the right. This makes it accessible from the application module root (e.g. findApplicationModule or by the method that is created by the frame).

    Anyone know if it is possible to use the content related interface user ADF component?

    TKS.

    To my knowledge, it is not possible - in fact, not even in the current version of the 12 c.

    However, you will need to move to 12 c in the future to get this.

  • Problem to get the IP address of the Client on ADF

    Hi all

    I use jdev 11.1.1.7.0 version

    In my case, I created a stubborn taskflow and deploy it to Webcenter.

    In this application I wrote the code for the customer as follows - ip address

    ExternalContext ectx is FacesContext.getCurrentInstance () .getExternalContext ();.

    HttpServletRequest request = (HttpServletRequest) ectx.getRequest ();

    String ip = request.getRemoteAddr ();

    but he returned

    127.0.0.1

    or in my env production he return server ip address.

    so my question is what is the problem with this code, why is not the ip address of the customer return

    or any other way to do

    concerning

    Manish

    This is a configuration on the weblogic server. You do not get the address of the default client. You must make a few changes to the configuration of your wls (see getting the IP address of the application client). If you do this, you should be aware of the implications that you find in the blog http://www.ateam-oracle.com/wls-plugin-enabled/

  • ADF Mobile Client: Error when trying to import javax.microedition. *.

    Hello

    JDev throws errors at compile time when I try to deploy a sample Client Mobile ADF application.
    These errors are related to the import of javax.microedition.io. *.

    Error (11,29): javax.microedition.io package does not exist
    Error (12,29): javax.microedition.io package does not exist
    Error (180,9): could not find class HttpConnection

    Error (191,42): cannot find variable connector
    Error (250,49): inconvertible types
    Error (303,40): cannot find variable HttpConnection

    Guidance on the way in which these errors could be solved?

    Is there a wireless JDev extension to be installed to fix these errors related to J2ME?

    For JDev 10 g, I could find such an extension called JWE here: http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/iaswe/archive/developer/index.html
    I couldn't find any similar extension for JDeveloper 11.1.3.

    Kind regards
    Prasad.

    Hi, I just want to assure you - have you installed the ADF MObile Client extension yet? Visit JDev-Help-Check for updates official Oracle Extensions and updates and find the Extension of Oracle ADF MObile Client in the list. Check it out, download it and then restart JDev. It seems that the extension is not installed, is not able to load J2ME libraries.

    If you downloaded the extension already, please go to properties-libraries and classpath of the project and then see if the sample application makes reference to third party libraries, for example something RIM. If so, please check the path to the library.

    Once you have installed the extension, you can also access the customer Mobile ADF Developer's guide - it contains all the documentation around what you need to install first. Please take a look and see what you install - at the very least, you need to install BlackBerry JDE if you want to deploy for BlackBerry and Windows Mobile Emulator, if you want to test the application on Windows Mobile. Finally, if you need to synchronize the data, then you must also install Oracle Database Server Lite for MObile.

    Thank you

    It is the same for the af:menuItem IE (immediately apply = "true" to get around the validation of the user interface [client side], its support by almost all components of the adf).

  • Install the ADF 12.1.3.0 essential WegLogic 11 g and Oracle Linux 5

    People,

    Hello. I install ADF essential 12.1.3.0 with WegLogic 11 g with Oracle Linux 5 operating system.

    The WebLogic 11 g and JDK 1.7 have been installed in my machine and work properly for a long time.

    I downloaded Oracle ADF critical 12.1.3.0 on http://www.Oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/ADF/downloads/index.html .

    The tutorial http://orafapp.blogspot.com/2014/07/install-and-configure-ADF-development.html installs ADF with WebLogic 12 c and 3 parts as below:

    Part i: install ADF and set the field of the logic of the Web.

    Part II: creating the RCU for ADF.

    Part III: Configure the WebLogic domain.

    There are 3 files in the package: adf - essentials.zip, adf-essentials-customer - ear.zip and adf-essentials-client - war.zip

    I unzip the file "adf - essentials.zip" and run the file .jar as below:

    java $-jar oracle.xdb_12.1.0.jar

    Error message: cannot load oracle.xdb_12.1.0.jar Main-class manifest attributes

    My questions are:

    First of all, I have to follow the 3 parties above to install ADF 12.1.3 essential for WebLogic 11 g with Oracle Linux 5?

    Second, how to solve the error message above? People allow a tutorial for me to install?

    Thirdly, what are the client 2 client-essentials-adf - ear.zip and adf-essentials-customer files - war.zip do?

    Thanks in advance.
