Interference between channels using a block of cFP-TC-120, CB-3 connection

Using a CB-3 with a cFP-TC-120 module connection block for read sensors millivolt. The sensors are pressure with an excitation of 10V sensor. Millivolt signal varies 8mv to-70mv. All have 8 differential channels wired in two of these modules sitting in slots 3 and 4, a slot 4 back on the plain. There is also the 24V in the electrical box used by two modules to relay PSC - 421 driving valves that open, leads at room temperature or in separate the empty rooms they are in slots 1 and 2. Do to the cFP-TC-120 the same and each is affected in the same way, more interference is not only between the same module 120 channels, but also between the modules! If a sensor is vacuum where the millivolt is around 7 mV reading is stable through the following conditional changes. "If a sensor is emptied at room temperature, say channel 6 and channel one is already at room temperature its reading can change by 0.25mv be affected by the evacuation of other channels. This worsens proportional number of channels is ejected by up to 0.5 mV for all other channels that are evacuated. This module is differential and each channel and the module are isolated we don't understand where or how this interference takes place. Help!

Ben,

We have done some trouble shooting and isolated in millivolts sensor signal of the NOR. We found that voltage was real and electronics is not the field point. The system runs on 24V except for sensors that have an excitation of 12v. We found that the Commons between these continuous tensions were just that, each have been shared. We have separated the Commons and vola! Perfection.

  • DAQ interference between channels

    Hello

    I suffer from a problem of jamming now while I do some work data acquisition.

    I'm using LabVIEW to control data acquisition system to capture the signal voltage of several thermocouples. The results of sense to me but I found, there seems to be some problems of all channels: it is clear from the joint, to find some simultaneous fluctuations on all curves (see portions of curves in the numbered 1, 2, 3 and 4).

    My block diagram is also attached here (which seems to be dirty and vulgar-designed for you guys because I'm a newbie on LabVIEW)

    I wonder if it is an interference with the hardware problem or a problem on my programming, and please let me know how to handle this problem to reduce (or even cancel interference).

    Thank you.

  • Interference between DAQmx and VISA?

    We got a new Lock-in 7270 of Signal recovery that we would like to address by USB, using the driver for VISA provided by them. We have a second device, which is controlled by the NI USB-6212 and DAQmx 8.8 housing. VISA installed version is 4.4.1. Each of them works well as long as one device is turned on. As soon as both are turned on, the NI USB-6212 housing cannot be controlled by Labview more and the lock-in can be controlled only a few times. When the lock-in is positioned on the first, the NI USB-6212 housing is not yet recognized by Windows XP.

    This can be a problem between the two drivers, between DAQmx and VISA, while they interfer?

    No, there is no interference between the pilots. Two USB devices are in the same hub? I saw very similar problems with multiple devices and the hub is not able to provide the power for each of them. The Device Manager will tell you the current requirements for each device that is plugged in and how much is available. Typically of 500 my.

  • Error in the capture of several channels using pre-trigger

    I have problems of acquiring data with pre-trigger samples during the capture of several channels, using hardware NOR-PXI-6071E and Analog Input VIs in Labview (inheritance OR-DAQ).

    My goal is to trigger a signal, while capturing another. Unfortunately, I can't use the PFI0 for external triggering, as our cables/material have already been built, so I have to use an analog input as the trigger channel. I understand that to do this I must capture the two strings and the string I want to trigger outside must be the first string in the list.

    If I trigger and capture on the same channel (I tried 1-4) then it works very well, regardless of the number of samples before relaxation together. If I capture more than one channel (the channel of the relaxation to a first), with no pre-trigger samples, then trigger and capture both work very well. However, if I do the same thing with pre-trigger > 0 sample I get the following error:

    Error-10621 to AI control. Possible reasons:
    NOR-DAQ LV: The specified trigger signal cannot be assigned to the resource for the trigger.

    I don't have to such limitation explained in the user manual, and the forum search, I found a few other people who have had the same problem but they had no solutions. Any ideas?

    Hi Jackson,

    Unfortunately, this is a hardware limitation when you reference analog trigger via one of the lines to HAVE.

    Please see this knowledge base. Particularly the second paragraph says

    The error-10621 appears immediately when the VI running if you try to assign scans of relaxation before while scanning multiple channels and using one of the entries as your trigger channel.

    Details are explained in the third paragraph:

    Because all the entries are multiplexed before being sent for analog triggering circuit, it is possible that the trigger on the trigger channel conditions might miss while the device is multiplexing by another channel. In this case, the trigger will not be detected.

    It is explained in the E-Series user manual page 10-3.  Specifically the second paragraph of the section entitled "Analog Input Channel".

  • How to run four procedures, in order, by using anonymous block

    Hello

    I am trying to run four procedures, in order, by using anonymous block. If one of the procedure fails remaining should get executed. How can I achieve this?

    BEGIN
    PROC1;
    Proc2; -Suppose that Proc2 will fail, it should not affect the execution of Proc3 and proc 4
    Proc3;

    Hello

    Maybe this can help you:

    BEGIN
      begin
        Proc1;
      exception
        when others then
          dbms_output.put_line('proc1 ' || sqlcode || ' ' || sqlerrm);
      end;
      begin
        Proc2;
      exception
        when others then
          dbms_output.put_line('proc2 ' || sqlcode || ' ' || sqlerrm);
      end;
      begin
        Proc3;
      exception
        when others then
          dbms_output.put_line('proc3 ' || sqlcode || ' ' || sqlerrm);
      end;
      begin
        Proc4;
      exception
        when others then
          dbms_output.put_line('proc4 ' || sqlcode || ' ' || sqlerrm);
      end;
    END;

    In your case, it may be useful if your procedures have their own exception handlers, so they never fail. But then you need a sort of exception information that is displayed.

  • Move between photos using the mouse scroll wheel in the library module

    I've recently upgraded to LR6.4, in the library, to the Magnifier module, I can't move between photos using the mouse scroll wheel. When I point the cursor on the picture, I get a "magnifying glass". The only way I can move between photos is to click on the film. I was able to use the mouse scroll wheel to move between pictures before. Help, please.

    It doesn't matter whether or not this option is displayed. Just open the preferences and restart LR should dissipate it.

    QUESTION:

    What gets the relationship between the number of blocks and coherent? How to calculate become consistent?

    You can see that your uniform is getting down to 6 to 12, is it not? Reading of the below thread Asktom.

  • Switch between views using a viewstack

    Hello

    Can someone help me in the initiation of a function in the child mxml file when the view stack navigates among children mxmls?

    For example:

    Parent MXML is to have a viewstack with 2 children such as Page1.mxml and Page2.mxml as shown in the code below. I know that I can navigate between pages using the viewstack's selectedIndex property. But I want to do a task every time when I navigated to Page1 (Eg: Rinse datagrid or some sort of initialization). I also know on "creationcomplete event" that will trigger when the mxml was created, but I want this kind of an event that is fired whenever I come to page 1 using a viewstack. Any help?

    < mx:ViewStack id = "vstk" x = "0" y = "4" >
    < s:NavigatorContent >
    < local: Page1 / >
    < / s:NavigatorContent >
    < s:NavigatorContent >
    < local: page 2 / >
    < / s:NavigatorContent >
    < / mx:ViewStack >

    You can also use a 'show' of the page handler is.

    The show is called each time the MXML component becomes visible...

  • set of commands for cFP-1804 and cFP-TC-120

    Until FP modules have made obsolete, I used them to collect data of thermocouple connect series to an Allen Bradley PLC, which controls incorporated and acquired the Fieldpoint data. I went to the cFP-1804 and cFP-TC-120, because the old system was more available, and despite the assurances or who take the command languages supported (and its repeated requests for me to use different drivers that cannot be used in my application), the old code does not work. Then... I need a measure of order to the cFP-1804 and cFP-TC-120 in order to write to the system, set up and request the data. The old codes resembled: > 01. f000F000110221000110221000110221000110221? to configure the modules, for example

    stericert,

    I'm sorry that you're having trouble.  You have problems because the cFP-1804 supports only extended controls and the standard Power Up Clear command.

    For more information about the extended commands, refer to the FieldPoint Optomux programming reference help.  It is also the full command set reference you asked.
