  • 3 laptops different ALL been facing intermittent problems with the USB ports.

We have 3 laptops at home, running 3 different versions of winsows 7... Home, Professional and Ultimate. They have in recent months ALL given intermittent problems with the USB ports. A device that worked on a port stops working. It may or may not work on another port. A week later it could very well lead again on the port that wouldn't work. This applies to all types of devices.

    A few more questions:

Is there a USB device that you use with all three computers?

  • HP Color LaserJet CP2025: Intermittent problem with printer producing pink wide unslightly strips

I use a HP ColorLaserJet CP2015.  From time to time he overprinted documents with pink ribbons which is unslightly.  The documents can be used only for use in-house.

It is an intermittent problem and may occur as early as the beginning of printing or begin in the middle of a print job.

I ran a diagnostic report, but I do not know how to interpret it.

    Any suggestions?

    Thank you

Just thought that I'll let you know that so far I did not have pink wide overprinting.  It seems that it was a faulty cartridge.  Thank you very much. I would not have thought this.

  • Only intermittent problem with wifi on alienware m17x with qualcomm wireless killer

Hi, I have an alienware M17x with windows 8.1 and qualcomm wireless killer. I have a serious problem with intermittent wifi, that appears when I use programs like Skype, steam, multiplayer games, etc.

Even if the wifi is connected, the connection suddenly stops working sometimes, especially when I use the applications mentioned above. (if I try to load a Web page during this time, the page remains attached to "resolving host"). Strange thing is if I disconnect and reconnect to the wifi Internet starts working immediately. Or I can wait a few minutes and the connection is re-established automatically. This isn't a problem with the network, because I had this problem on countless wifi networks I've worked, and all my other devices work fine in the same time, that my laptop no longer works.

Additionally, this problem occurs only on wifi, if I use a connection cable, this never happens. (this is not yet a case of the wifi signal strength, as happens even when I am sitting right next to wifi router and wifi in the notification area icon is visible full signal).

In the last months, I tried various possible solutions, but none of them have solved this problem:

    -Updated to 8.1 windows

-Update of the qualcomm network drivers

-Stop of various applications that I think might have been the origin of the problem

    -Uninstall completely different applications

    -Close all anti-virus programs

Still after all of these steps, the problem persists. It would not be a big problem, as the loss of connectivity is not permanent, but what makes multiplayer games completely unplayable on my alienware machine. :(

Just today I tried to launch AlienAutopsy test for my network card in Killer Wireless - N 1103 several times, and each time that the "transfer of data verification test" failed due to no connectivity (all other tests passed very well, only this one test failure all 6 times). I thought that it could be linked and gave me some hope that I might be able to target the cause of this unique problem. Therefore, I post here. If anyone can help me, it would be much appreciated!

  • Strange Intermittent problem with LOV

    Hello

I have a strange problem with the my LOV on one of my monitors. When I select a value of LOV(af:inputComboboxListOfValues) and released tab, it works fine. But if I copy and paste a text value that is also present in the LOV list data source, and then tab out then sometimes an exception is thrown.

I have ensured that the value pasted in the LOV is exactly the same present in the source data LOV.
This problem is intermittent. It does not always come.
The query looks fine for me and works perfectly in another system with the same configuration.

Can there be a problem with a particular system?

I raised a SR with support of oracle for this issue and come to know that it is actually caused by a bug (Bug No. 9524564) in RDBMS to Oracle 11.2.0.1 version. This bus has been fixed in the 11.2.0.2 Patch Set.
The solution is either so, upgrade to the version of 11.2.0.1 to 11.2.0.2 RDBMS by applying patch set.
or check with the workaround by disabling link furtively and in defining the "_fix_control" = 6163564: stop "as stated in the Bug 9524564.

  • Ignition intermittent problem with Vostro 410

Last week, I had a problem with my Vostro 410 minitower.

When power is applied to the area of the Green LED on the back of the PSU and the amber LED on the main Board, both light up normally.

By pressing the power button sometimes starts the system as usual, with the fixed blue light button, but more often all that happens is the button flashes amber and then nothing, except a slight noise as if a fan is about to begin.

Remove the power and try again sometimes works, as leaving the box for a while after the first power of the application. The other thing that always work sends a message of WakeOnLAN since another device on my network. the PC starts and runs exactly as if the power button worked.

Once started the PC boots and works perfectly as before.

I tested the power supply and they are all to a few percent of their nominal values. Unplug the connector ATX 24 pin as well as a short circuit of the Green wire to Earth begins the PSU.

I tried to change the on-board battery, but the problem is exactly the same with a new or partially charged battery or nothing at all.

Can someone please suggest a cause and cure?

  • Strange intermittent problem with macbook pro

    Hey there ppl.

So, I have a Macbook Pro (15-inch, mid-2014, retina), processor i7 2.2 GHz, 16 GB of memory. Running OS X El Capitan.

My problem is a strange, because it is only intermittently. ID say like 10-15% of the time. But its very frustrating and annoying when it does and because I am working on my computer (poker), it's also costing me. in any case, the problem usually occurs after I've been using the computer for 1, 5-3 hours or more. Usually ill be playing poker online, listen to spotify and use of the internet for stuff randomly. Everything will be fine and then suddenly ill notice that my mouse cursor will be suddenly shot through the screen occasionally. as ill be goes well with the cursor but it'll jump to the left, a couple of inches or more. Also bad note that some of my habit of 'clicks' record, so ill use the calculator for example and badly want to press 543 and maybe 5 records, but when I go to click on the 4 it does not work, and ill have to like wait a second, then click New to register the click.

Also, if im typing something, as in poker, I have sometimes to take note of the way in which an opponent has played a helping hand or whatever, a letter or a space press custom register, so ill be typing a phrase and the space bar is and I'll have to press the key once the couple , then a letter will not register, etc.. Sound very disorienting and made it difficult to continue the task IM because it does not smoothly because of the LAG, unregistered, mouse jumping, etc.

IM really not sure of what the root of the problem and what it is. Ive has run the malware anti-malware bytes, but that has not solved the problem. Usually when that happens ill try to restart the computer, or stop and return back but generally the problem persists. Then, after some time, maybe 20 to 45 minutes or so, when I try to use the computer it works normally with any of these problems.

Very bizzare. Any help or insight is appreciated, let me know if you need more information

    Brandon

    Good afternoon brandonfrommililani,.

Thanks for letting us know about the problem you are having with your cursor jumps erratically on the screen of your MacBook Pro.  The resources below provides some initial troubleshooting steps, you can try at this address.  I suppose that you work with the trackpad on your MacBook Pro.  In addition to the steps suggested below, try to connect a wired mouse to your computer to exclude Wireless interference.

If your pointer is nervous when you use a trackpad, Magic Mouse or Magic Trackpad

  • Help - problems with IE8 and IE9 (ADF) compatibility

I want to know because some parts do not fit in IE browsers versions 8 and 9. I did these actions of this tutorial, but I have seen that compatibility mode is enabled on the components of the page to function normally. But the biggest problem is the compatibility with AJAX, components, which have up-to-date tables when the information is recorded in real time, displays a loading bar (which is a component that retrieves data) when you enter information, this bar when the browser is in mode compatibility (IE9) don't rest on the screen, no action and when the page is deleted this compatibility mode works but load bar components are inserted any malfunction to again, that is to say the application works perfect in firefox, but the problem is that I have to work on IE9, here is the link that made the changes.

    [http://blogs.oracle.com/jdevotnharvest/entry/running_adf_faces_applications_with_ie_9_in_ie_8_compatibility_mode | http://blogs.oracle.com/jdevotnharvest/entry/running_adf_faces_applications_with_ie_9_in_ie_8_compatibility_mode]

If anyone has had this experience and can give assistance

    Hello

think I should remove the blog post or make it more apparent that it is only for testing purposes. ADF faces does not support compatibility mode IE in production because of known issues in Internet Explorer. So if you can use the solution that I've documented to install a newer version of Internet Explorer while developing even for an older version, it is not supported when running. In your case, use native IE9 (or install IE8 and use native) and run it with a version of JDeveloper which is certified for the version of the browser.

Anything by showing different in native IE9 that in IE 8 native (using a version of JDeveloper certified for IE9) then can be considered as a bug

Until a few days ago, this PC worked fine without any problems, but now, it's another story.

Sometimes I can get it to go by typing either Esc, F8 etc., sometimes it goes its own and sometimes it does not at all for several attempts. Once it boots it works fine even if don't wake up to the top of his sleep sometimes, but maybe it's a different problem. Nothing I did mades difference and help would be appreciated.

  • Intermittent problem with IP addresses and internet connections dropped

Once a day or so my PC (Win7) will not be able to access the internet. Connection just drops. I use DHCP for IP addresses.

As far as I can see in the Event Viewer I get these types of errors "the address lease IP 192.168.1.64 for the network card with network 0x406186808C4C address was rejected by the 192.168.0.1 DHCP server (the DHCP server sent a DHCPNACK message)."

My local network is simply: PC-online router (Cisco E1200)-online internet (modem Siemens SpeedStream 4100 DSL)

"When this happens, we run ' ipconfig - release 'then' ipconfig - renew." This usually fixes the problem. Sometimes, this does not solve the problem, and we need also the modem power cycle. In a few minutes find us the internet connection. It's nice to have a manual correction, but we want to solve this problem to happen... as is the engine of our family crazy...

The address LAN IP of the modem is set to 192.168.0.1

The address LAN IP of the router is set to 192.168.2.1

When things are running OK, I usually see it in the ' ipconfig-all the ' results: = 192.168.2.147 IPv4 address (Preferred) [but the IP numbers change slightly] my understanding is that see "Present" in the result is a good thing (but I don't know why...).

Any thoughts on what is happening? and how to permanently solve this problem?

I'm also confused on IPv4 and IPv6. Should I be concerned with any information of IPv6 in the ipconfig-all the results?

    Thanks for the help

Talked with the ISP (ATT). Zig - zag, you were on the problem. I had both modem and router set to DHCP mode... so I had some conflicts. The solution was to define the "bridge mode" dsl modem and configure the router to "PPPoE mode. Everything works now. Thanks for your help.
