Internet Explore cannot display the page
Hi all
I m new to this and I need a little help that one when I connect to a Web page, he says internet explore cannot display the page. Any ideas how I can fix this problem? Be grateful for any help.
Thank you all.
First question;
Haven't you set up the modem or the router correctly?
Maybe your connection to the ISP (Internet service provider) was not set properly and so you are not able to connect to internet!
Have you tried to connect to the internet with other computers?
Reading your post I n t think that there is something wrong with the laptop

In the top of the browser address bar, enter one of the following addresses:

If you receive the same error message, go to the next method.Method 2: Run the Network Diagnostics tool in Internet Explorer
To do this, follow these steps:

It has detected a problem. In addition, the tool will provide guidance on the next steps to take to resolve the problem.

On the Tools menu, click delete browsing history .

I get Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage message on my cell phone.
I can get my desktop to connect to the internet, so it is not an ISP issue. The laptop can see the router so it's not the question.
I ran the network diagnostic and that did nothing. I call my ISP helpdesk and they said it was a known issue with Vista after last update. Therefore, they suggested that I tried to do a system restore to an earlier point.
I tried to do this, but the system comes back and says that he did not work properly and gives an error unspecified as to why it did not work.
Was the ISP Helpdesk right what I try next?
Thank you
Mark

I get the message "Internet Explorer cannot display webpage" what should I do to fix that?
You have McAfee? McAfee has been updated at the same time as the last batch of updates from Windows 7 and this is the cause of problems of internet connection for most, if not all, users of McAfee.
See the communication from this "criticism" - McAfee
You should make the fix McAfee, if necessary. There are corresponding communications for their enterprise products.
I had to run the removal of McAfee Development tool a few times before and it caused a problem with the license if the PC was not connected to the internet during the abduction. Due cat of McAfee support reset their files in order to allow the relocation-reactivation. Here is their link cat - McAfee - media contains the link to the cat

I was an active member of this forum for more than a year and was just on the site yesterday. Yet, for some reason, today, I can not access the site. I tried clicking on a search link, manually type in the name of the site... nothing works. All I ever get is the message "Internet Explorer cannot display this webpage"; no error codes... no nothing!
I have no trouble access to other sites with the exception of the McAfee site. I know that the site is running.
UPDATE: for some strange reason, now all of a sudden I can again access McAfee Forum site this morning. Still have no idea what happened here, but at least that the problem is now solved... I hope!
Thnks a lot for your time!

This page is coming all the time and I always lose the work I do because of this
Can be many things including your anti-virus settings may be incorrect in Internet Explorer, it occurs on all sites, or just a few (or one)?
Have you tried another browser like firefox?
It's just start? and if so do you ave a backup from before the problem to restore?
This might get more attention in the browsers and email and you can start a new thread here or have a moderator move it for you (they can do when even if they see)
