  I'm on a desktop VAIO with Windows Vista Home Premium 64 - bit, connection to the internet through a linksys wireless router. • Compatibility of Norton Internet Security and Vista Home Premium

  I have a new laptop with pre-installed A200 Vista and Norton Internet Security.
  I can't use the send/receive button to send Windows messages.
  I spent the time considerble in the forum MS to fix this problem without success. I am told that Norton is not compatible with Vista - even if Toshiba pakage this sooftware together.
  I deleted Norton and in fact the Windows Mail Send7Receive button start working. BUT then after about an hour it has stopped working again! I have re-installed Norton but the problem is still there! I can send E-mail of Mail when I exit and restart the station.

  Can help for this problem - can it be to the ISP? I use port 587 SSL

  Hi all I'm having the same issues as Theresa in the thread above split. I have Vista Home Premium 32 bit service Pack 2 with all the installed updates (automatically done!).  Within 3 months, this PC at home that was formerly an excellent navigation device became very slow when you browse using IE, Firefox or Chrome. It takes 30 to 50 seconds to load any web page (Yahoo, eBay, etc.). I followed all the instructions suggested to Theresa in SafeMode by Bill Smithers. Resulted in nothing other than a few cookies and Wetherbug I killed. I also run McAfee total protection and Spybot S & D every 3 days with nothing found.

  I have reset my browsers to the specifications of the factory without change.

  Comcast is my internet provider high speed and my speedtest returns 65 - 75 MB/s download and 11 Mbit/s upload very regularly. I connect directly to the bridge. I had Comcast out and they swapped unity Arris of a unit of Cisco beefier but that changes nothing. Other devices on my network domestic perform very well and do not have this problem.

  When I browse a site the CPU spikes up to 88% use in 45 seconds and is stable at 50% usage 1.7 GB memory.

  The only thing I can infer is at this time that something happened to the operating system during automatic updates or some other setting has been changed.  I could use any help or suggestions you may have! Otherwise, I love this OS and have not had any problems. Thanks, Dhoffa

• Vista Home Premium hangs for internet browsing

  My Toshiba Satellite falls down while browsing using Internet Explorer 7, 8 and Firefox 3.5 and 3.6. The screen turns black with sometimes a blue bar downstairs, then restarts in 10 seconds approximately. At other times the pixels all scramble and the laptop freezes cause me to hard reboot. Toshiba had wipe me and reload the operating system and other software several times, and now say it is not the laptop, but the operating system.

  I tried disabling modules, returning on the older versions of web browsers, as well as to remove and reinstall them altogether.   NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Registry cleaners are full and complete trash!  They do a lot more damage, then they fix NEVER actually!  Especially if you use more than one!  They are all ready to go to look for competing software, and delete the registry keys!  You give a perfect example of the typical scam, a free version, find the errors that only the product of tax can fix!  It is complete and total garbage!  The first thing you need to do is run the System File Checker.  You do this from an elevated command prompt (right click and select run as administrator).  then type: sfc/scannow which allow to run and to try and correct problems detected with your system files.  But for the love of goodness, fake registry cleaners clear Czar.  Believe me, they are nothing but trouble!  Locutys of Borg

  the three films in DVD Maker files and each of them will be a chapter...
  This way, you will have a menu.

  Once the DVD-video is encoded you cannot add additional files
  the DVD.

  Hi, I have two machines in one desktop running Vista Home Premium and a laptop running under windows 7.

  After you apply the Windows updates a few days ago, I was not able to get internet connectivity using my Vista desktop computer.

  I was able to get a wireless on the Windows 7 machine, but to test the router I disabled wireless and tried a wired connection and it did not work.

  If I restore the installation of updates on both machines before the problem no longer exists, but it is clearly not a solution.

  Can someone please help, note that I have established that the router works and all the cables are OK. Thank you.

  You must reinstall them from the original media. Make sure you have all the license keys you need to reinstall before you start.
