Internet Explorer 8 stops my programs work correctly

For a long time now, I thought that the issues I had with two of my programs: Nero Moveit and DVD Cloner VI was the fault of the program themselves but now today when I had problems with the update of Nero Moveit it open on my computer that was the issue when I first installed IE - 8 but I thought that the problem was both not IE-8 programs. But now that again once I had to uninstall IE - 8 so that my programs to work it is really IE - 8 which was perform them along with Nero Moveit I can't open the program at all it goes to the start screen and further it never opens, and with DVD Cloner VI it freezes just as it reads the data from the movie disc that I am recording now I went back to these web sites, accusing him of bad programs and to find out, it's really IE - 8 that the culprit, so now the Question is do I reinstall IE - 8 or keep IE - 7 on my computer since it is the only browser that my programs work with. If there is a software fix or a real for IE - 8 solution please someone tell me because soon I want to install windows-7 on my computer and I also have upgraded to IE 8 but not if it affects my work programmes. So now I will install not IE-8 until you have done something to improve on allowing you to all my programs don't work some of them. I uninstalled these programs numeruos time and re-installed them thinking they were the problem (open eyes), how can I get my programs to work with IE-8 so that I can bring my computer into the future with Microsoft and Microsoft products creates is destroy or disable my programs? After uninstalling IE_8 I tried DVD Cloner and it worked perfectly without complex no freeze upafter the read data from the disk, he went straight intothe next step the blank disc record and then ask if I wanted to save from an image on the disk hard it does not recognize the file at all. So someone tell me go I better with IE 7 or IE 8? I say 7 don't you? Oh and to add I am running Windows XP Home Edition - with 4 GB of ram on the computer and more 1terabyte hard disk space, it's really a shame that I can't use IE 8 on my computer.

    I have a HP Pavillion QU297AA #ABG running on Windows 7.  Since the first day of installation I click the links and get the message

    I know this isn't not my internet as my laptop when used on my connection Wireless at home I have this problem & no more than my previous desktop that I have improved.  Also, I don't think I have a virus I have an antivirus AVG (the paid version) set up scan to run daily to detect problems.  It's so frustrating can anyone offer a solution I have had this problem since I plugged in my new office building.

    Try to use the System File Checker to scan your operating system for missing/corrupt files, perform the following steps:

  • Internet Explore has stopped working - question of the biometric authentication service

    My Elitebook 8540p has developed a problem where I get the error message - Internet Explorer has stopped working... Turn it back on.     I am running Windows 7 32 bit.   And using IE9.

    After some internet reading, I started my services of neutralization.    I finally got down to a service that is causing the problem.

    Biometric Authentication Service Digital Persona Inc.

    When I disable the service in the services of the MSconfig System Configuration and reboot, I use internet explore without any problem.    (I've identified some Web pages which would agrivate the question.)

    The deactivation of the Service of Authenticaton of Biomitric causes the scanner to not work.     I tried to reload the driver for fingerprint reader, and the HP Protect tools Security Manager.

    Any idea how I can activate the biometric authentication Service and not IE stopped working the issue?

    I had the same problem on my HP Pavilion dv7 and had the chance of getting a solution.

    I, too, put the finger on biometric authentication as the problem Service.  By disabling the service, Internet Explorer worked well; except, now, I had no finger analysis feature.  I installed the latest version and it worked for a few sessions and then the problem comes back.

    Looking at my updates, I realized that the Flash is set to update at the same time, the problem started.  I tested by activating the biometric authentication Service.  Instead, I disabled the Flash add-on in Internet Explorer and it did not work again; except, now, I had no Flash.

    Searching online, I came across this post from Adobe:

    Post on the Adobe Forum: IE9, Windows 7 64-bit Flash causes "Internet Explorer has stopped working".

    I followed the instructions in this post, including the "clean install" and reverted to version 10.3 of Flash.

    To disable addons for Internet Explorer.
     
    First test IE without any addins loaded: start - programs - Accessories - System Tools - Internet Explore (No. Addons).
     
    In Internet Explorer, click on Tools in the bar commands, and then Internet Options and click the Advanced tab, and then click reset.
     
    To manage addons on an individual basis in Internet Explorer click on Tools button on control bar - Manage the Addons - Activate or disable Addons.

  • IM using Windows Vista Aero and when I right click Desktop Properties then personalization and appearance I get and error "windows internet explore has stopped working" Please help.

    Ive had this problem for a while now... imnew for vista because it's a new computer.

    I've sorted it but I'm not sure how and now the problem is back.

    When I right click on my desktop and go to personalization , then thecustomization and appearances I get error "windows internet explore has stopped working" and I get the options"restart this program" and "find a solution for this problem" if I don't find a solution nothing happens and if I restart the program it closes it.

    Sorry we don't communicate via this forum.

    You need a real antivirus because these are the two antispyware. You have the PCtools antivirus
    on the computer or just their toolbar in Internet Explorer?

    If there is no antivirus on the computer here is what I use and recommend (except for one
    program like Prevx, you don't want more than one antivirus on the computer program
    much less running because they interfere with each other and lower security). Each combination
    of her below you will warn of malware without toolbar from PCtools running online.

    I recorded it on the desktop, right-click to run as administrator, at this stage, it starts to download but the following message comes to the screen: install/uninstall program has stopped working.

Laptop is so slow and Firefox takes forever to open the pages. I get a lot of messages it does not!

    IE - tools - manage Addons (for sure disable SSV2 if it is there, it is no longer necessary but Java always install

    Windows Defender - tools - software explore - look for problems with programs that do not look right. Permit
    are usually OK and "unauthorized" are not always bad. If in doubt about a program to ask about it here.

    Could be that a BHO - BHOremover - free - standalone program, needs no installation, download and run - not all
    are bad, but some can cause your question (toolbars are BHO).

    First, reset Internet Explorer as follows: be aware that this will remove bookmarks, modules, and the saved passwords etc

    Open windows control panel, open Internet Options, click the Advanced tab, and then click the reset button.  Click 'Yes' or 'Ok' for all additional guests needed to complete the process.

    Then, download the Flash uninstall utility on the link below and save it to your desktop.

    Once the download is complete, close all browser windows and start the program uninstaller.  Once done, restart the laptop.

    Then, download and install Firefox , then using Firefox, download and install the latest version of Adobe Flash.

    Start Firefox and see if your games Ok in this browser game - if they don't, close Firefox, IE opens ( See Note below ) and click the Adobe Flash even above to get a command prompt to install the ActiveX component.  Once completed, restart IE.

    Note:  If you have a 64-bit installation, make sure that you open Internet Explorer and not Internet Explorer64) and click on the same Adobe Flash link above to get a command prompt to install the ActiveX component.  Once completed, restart IE.
