Internet not recognize blackBerry Smartphones DM

When I try to sync my new BB curve with my operating system (Windows Vista x 64), it tells me "the computer must be connected to the Internet to set up initially sync settings.  Make sure you are able to connect to the Internet, and then try again. "The problem is that I'm connected to the internet, I made sure my firewall is not blocking the DM and even tried to turn off user account controls and the firewall to get the program to recognize the internet.  Is there some step I am missing to get my BB to sync?

Hello masonicaero take a look at this thread to see if the registry fix solves the problem for you, or one of the other posted suggestions.

  • Not have blackBerry smartphones to connect to internet

I realized that my phone is unable to connect to the internet, even if I am able to send and receive emails from my phone and my wifi connection is fine. I tried to take the battery, return service directories to my phone and I also went to the registry option in the host routing table but does not change every time that I try to use the Web browser. It loads for a while and then the message "unable to connect to the internet, try again later appears. Is there anything else I should do? Thank you!

Hello and welcome to the community!

From your post, I can't tell if you do them in the order required... or know if every successful step as they should before moving on to the next step. So, with a strong carrier signal AND your WiFi radio OFF, I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

    (1) registry HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
    • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

    (2) Service reference books

    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

    (3) restart to take batt

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! If not, then you should contact your mobile provider for formal support... After all, it's their network with which your BB is to have trouble communicating.

    Good luck!

This new 9350 curve of love. Coming from a droid to Samsung Galaxy S, it's such an improvement.

The curve is fine except that I can't send a picture in a text.

I can email them, send to Twitter and Facebook but no texting.

All text without images work fine. It is kind of a big deal for me as I do a lot.

    Any ideas?

  • Data not updated blackBerry Smartphones when inactive phone

    Hi all

Recently, I removed my main of my device e-mail address while he is on vacation.

I just put back it, but now I find that data (emails and BBM) are not updated when the phone was in bag for awhile.

If I put myself in response to or sending emails or BBM of unit all starts update again and all emails in circulation and BMMs come out at the same time.

Everything working the normal flow is restored, but after being in the Pocket for awhile everything stops again.

    Any ideas?

I noticed the problem when I started getting these archaic messages called SMS asking me why I do not answer to my BBM... naturally the idea of not receiving them is scaring me senseless!

    Kind regards

Hi and welcome to the forums!

We need to know what version of the software on your device.

Check the version of operating system of the device, and then use the correct steps to register your device. Basically, you refresh your network connection and the software to control the connection on your device.

    Hello Hmend99,

I'm here to try to help or at least guide you on common sense.

because something similar happened to me and I am sure I know

    What is the problem.

This may be due to the fact possible that the Mac where is your blackberry

BLACKBERRY STILL NOT OFFERED to SUPPORT / DRIVERS FOR.

They know this problem for months and months and until now

    Concerning

    Hello

RIM (btw... "BlackBerry" is a device... RIM is the company that makes the BlackBerry, Research In Motion devices) has no control of something on the release of the OS process to end users. On the contrary, RIM releases OS packages for carriers, which control the process of liberation to end users. Unfortunately, many of the carriers are notoriously bad at actually publishing remarks of liberation on specific OS packages. Some people scour the internet for independent reviews of specific packages of the BONE... There are several parts 3rd good reputation that do.

  • Not active blackBerry Smartphones browser

Well, the title says barely enough. So I'll just paste what I send to Telstra.

    --------

I recently bought a blackberry bold 9000 flea market. He is originally a telstra device (it is covered with logos of Telstra and started there the telstra boot screen). I bought a man in New Zealand, who himself bought the person who has had on your network, in order to find the original owner information are almost impossible.

I went through several mobile operators (including several who are experts of blackberry) and they think that the browser itself is to be routed through and blocked by Telstra. We think that if you could release the blackberry PIN to RIM (research in motion, the manufacturer) that then WHAT NZ Telecom could get it completely and if the browser can open.

I just want to know if the unique blackberry PIN is still connected to your business.

Here's the email I sent on BOARD:

    Hello
Okay, so I recently bought a used blackberry bold 9000, and the browser will not start.

I have the code numbers PIN and IMEI registered to me with the my current provider (telecom new zealand), also as a precautionary measure I updated the OS to my carrier brand version 5.0.0.592 (bundle 1004, platform 5.2.0.57), (this is the latest version my carrier is supported).

I have a blackberry data plan and local telecommunications and support blackberry services are a loss of what is wrong.

It is interesting things to note that when connected to a wireless connection (wi - fi) with internet access, many of the applications can also access the internet. For example, bolt, the free mobile browser, can surf the internet, but only in the range of a wi - fi network. Another thing is that I can successfully send and receive emails via my gmail account, even if not connected to a wi - fi network, calls and SMS work also. I am not connect to any server of the company, the VPN settings are disabled, the APN settings are on direct.telecom.co.nz with whites for the user name and the password. I tried to remove and return the service books several times (each time followed by a 'hard reset'). I tried to wipe the device several times. Option dataservices in the mobile network options menu is turned on, is a reading as correct carrier and is set to the right of the network mode (3G & 2 G).

The browser option, under Advanced options, which is in turn in the menu options, has only a single parameter, "the default browser configuration:" which shows a space empty and does not have the ability to change.
The browser icon not anywhere, apart from the menu "switch application", and this is how I tried to open it so far. I am aware that there should be an icon of browser on the home page or at least in the main menu.

The exact error that says that.

"Your device not currently has any browser Configuration Service entries in the directory.
Contact your service provider to enable the browser on your device. »

As I said earlier, talk to the service desk of the company and to their office to support blackberry cannot find a short solution 'buy a newone', who, as a student, I just can't afford to do. If there is anything you can suggest that I do, I will do it gladly.

TL; DR: Browser does not work, everything else is...

Yes, I was beginning to think that myself.

    However!

Following another completely different thread, I found something on the parameters of the business, thinking that this may be something to destroy my chances, I followed the advice of method three of KB14202, given by er2joe in this thread. After the factory reset (I thought I did), it works!

    THIS MARKET!

... Sorry, after about a month of the ringtone desperately everyone I could think of, check all of the forums for things to do with browsers. And all we needed was for me to post something and fall on each other while you wait for a response.

(I think that the local telecom shop employees all know me now by first name)

    I love you guys.

  • Name of the caller is not showing blackBerry Smartphones don't not (single issue)

    Dear all,

I wonder if anyone can help please. When I receive calls on my Blackberry Curve 8900 - the name of the appellant are not displayed on the screen (only the phone number). I saved all the names in my address book. I find it quite frustrating (I never know that name and had to memorize numbers).

Thank you in advance for your help! Best regards, Irene

Hello and welcome to the Forums of Support BlackBerry.com.

It could be one of the three solutions... Try these:

    1. make sure that you set your own country code to the Phone Dialer screen > Options > smart dialing.
Set your country code in this format: "+ xx" where xx = country code. Some countries have two or three-digit country Codes. Do not place not the '+' in the entrance of your contact.
    * In the United States, the value of this country as '+ 1' Code and place your local area code in the appropriate box (this normally the default setting in a new BB).

    2. in the same place, change the length of National number for the number of digits corresponding to your country (since some countries have less than 10 as that set by default in the BB). Check out the total numbers, less country code. Do not place not the '+' in the entrance of your contact.
    * For example, some countries have a total number to 8 (more than 3 for the country code). You must enter '8 '.

    3. you probably have "Content Protection" located on your address book.
Look at the Options > Security > General settings. Scroll down to the content Protection > include addresses = no

  • Emails not appearing blackBerry Smartphones do not

Can Hi anyone help me please! ??? All of a sudden the emails that come normally to my blackberry do not show in the messages folder that they would normally have? All I can see in my messages folder is a duplication of my SMS? That I already have in my file of text messages. I have inadvertently changed a setting here or is there something wrong with my phone? I can see the e-mails that arrive and read them, but once they are read, they disappear!

Thaks Ron. Just remove the battery and replacement seem to do the job. I'll keep an eye on it. I hope that will not be recurring. See you soon

  • Notes and blackBerry Smartphones BB10 love

    Dear BB and friends,

I don't see other areas where I would share my thoughts so I thought I'd put it here.

BlackBerry, I am a new convert and am very happy with my Z10.  Good job on what you did with BB10 and I hope that you can continue your efforts are very obvious to me and many of your fans.

I had a few suggestions for changes to existing and features native applications:

    • I know that you will have this work to the point 10.2 but still keen to highlight its functionality will be greatly appreciated.  I would really like to see multiple added alarm features.  I find it very useful.
    • In the calendar application, I would like to be able to set the snooze time to something very similar, as I would say in Microsoft Outlook.  For example, I could choose the default value of 5 minutes, or 10 or 5 minutes before the time of the meeting.  Finally, I could choose 0 minutes, or any other term, to alert me at the meeting.  You might consider adding this feature to the clock so app.  Maybe the effect can be achieved by pressing the snooze button to display the option to change the time.  I'll leave the coding to your talented team awesomeness.
    • The calendar of the dredded carrier releases.  I'm a developer, but don't have to work with these companies that can make or break your bank fortunately.  I'm sure that has been suggested by my thoughts are why entered the carrier could not be left down for software radio?  All changes to the OS could / should be another package that should always be tested to connect to any version of the software radio.  Which would, in theory, allows you to control the output of the main components of the operating system compared to how it seems to work now.  When a radio must be updated, you will be able to coordinate with the carrier to meet the stated requirements, but if you add just with features like say 10.1.0.xxxx to a new version, you could make the output.  I'm sure that its not as simple as I said it, but I wonder if this could be done?  I'm fairly certain I saw AT & T updates separate Apple updates only when I was on the iPhone.
    • Images folder be updated as soon as you remove one of the first four applications.  I don't download a lot of apps, but say that if I tried a game and then delete it, the folder keeps a reference to the application of the old icon.  Bug of aesthetics.
    • The HUB is the largest communication service, I've had to date, thank you!  Also your email support is on par and better then the main desktop clients.  Thank you.
    • To remain at the same level as the efforts of Nokia and Microsoft, I would consider a plugin panoramic native to the camera.  And while that could image stabilisation on the theme of the camera, not stand on the use of the flash?  Just curious.
    • To compete with Android and attract children flashy, you might consider some kind of support of light entertainment for the lock screen.

Thank you for taking the time to review.  Love the BB10 platform, hope to see lots of good things.  Keep it up.

    Nice day

    Welcome to the BB forums

  • Problem with the internet service of blackBerry Smartphones

Hi, I had my BB curve less than a month, so I'm still learning.  I can access internet for most sites, but the one that I want - I can not go beyond the main connection.  I am an AVON representative and want to be able to access my AVON site but when I connect, it just reloads the same page - doesn't give me any error messages or anything.  AT first, he said I had to activate Java script - I went to options and enabled the Jave script - but still no luck.  Does anyone have any suggestions.  I have no problem with other sites, but I have not tried all the others I actually connect.

    Thank you

    Sorry I took so long.

I don't have to connect that I was checking to see if he had all the elements that would keep the BB to access the site.

I can't speak to the internals.

I would recommend a third party FREE application. It is called opera mini, another type of browser. It shows the page of the entire site and you can zoom in on what you want on the page. I had the chance to connect to sites on this

App. I guess that a second reason for you would be especially in the search for the pages of products etc.

Sorry I couldn't be more helpful. If you could please take a moment to solve this thread using the green check mark in the post that is closest to you to answer your question, I would appreciate it.

Here is the link for Opera mini, go on your BB and download, be sure to allow all connections. Try it and see if it helps. If you need help, just open a thread and we will help you with it.

    Thank you
