Internet problem blackBerry Smartphones - untrapped exception

I recently reset my phone that I had a battery problem, so I removed and installed the firmware again.
But since my phone wouldn't let me go to facebook both via internet and app when I go on the app, it says 'unable to connect to the facebook server please try again' and on the internet it just says: "unable to load the page" but the internet charges other pages very well another problem is that when I open and close the internet it says "eception exception : java.lang.error'

This problem occurred only since I reinstalled the firmware.

Someone knows how to fix this?

Hello and welcome to the community!

After the updates, I still propose that the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

(1) registry HRT

  • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
  • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

(2) remove and return Service directories

  • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
  • If you do not have access CMIME, continue deleting
  • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
  • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

(3) restart to take batt

  • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! If not, then you should try to reload your OS again, but maybe with a few twists to try to identify the cause... for example:

  1. Load your OS "bare bones"... If everything is optional, do not install it.
  2. If the behavior is immediately, then try another OS with step 1
  3. If the behavior does not immediately, then run for as long as necessary to make you to be sure that the behavior will not occur.
  4. Add one more thing - no matter how tempting, one.
  5. If the behavior does not immediately present, and then runs for long enough to be sure he won't have the same problem
  6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 until all things are responsible or the behavior presents

When the behavior shows up, you know the culprit... the last thing you have loaded.

If the behavior doesn't re-present, then you know that step 1 or 2 cured it.

If the behavior has anything, then you have probably a problem of material level for which no amount of OS or software can heal.

Good luck and let us know!

This problem in passing when I deleted all messages from one of my email accounts. Once I deleted it, I made a stop down by pressing ctrl alt del, and when he came he did nothing so I reboot several times by removing the battery and it has started to respond after I realized that e-mail icons have disappeared. Now with the last restart, the BBM works apparently but with the e-mail account, I tried deleting and adding several times, but I can't see any icon email, only the general one, but when I try to open it does nothing, but I see that I have emails. Now, the BBM just gives me this error: eception exception: application net_rim_bb_qm_peer (320) does not. end process, and now the phone is freeze. I'll reboot again need help!

That's an interesting statement... exactly how did you get that? As in, who did you call? RIM offers zero support to front line for BBs... only via the escalation of a carrier can you receive free support from RIM. You go through your carrier?

HI and welcome to the Forums!

Untrapped exception happen - they are basically an event for which there is no program on the device to manage code. It's like a mistake on a computer--sometimes they straight. Future updates will probably help with some. A few things to check and try:

    (1) make sure you are on the latest OS for your business... you can check your carriers latest version certified through this Portal:

    http://NA.BlackBerry.com/eng/support/downloads/download_sites.jsp

    (2) a Hard Reboot:

Whenever random strange behaviors creep, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot.

    (3) good memory management:

There are three types of potential memory on a BB: 1) application memory, the device memory) 2 and 3) Media/SD memory card

Application memory - it is the most important; It is protected (not available to the user), dedicated and (fixed size) space as the destination for the installation of applications (more a few storage applications, overhead and other costs). You can't touch AppMemory. You cannot improve the maximum AppMemory that your BB has. It is what it is. Applications can install only here... There is no other choice.

The device memory - it is space on your BB you can touch these files, images, media, etc. In general, it is not very big, but it is available.

Memory card SD/Media - is what it says... your SD card to store files, media, photos, etc.. It can be as large as your BB OS can support... see this KB:
    http://www.BlackBerry.com/BTSC/KB05461

On some devices/OS levels, enforcement and the memory of the device are combined into "free file"... This is, IMO, a little more difficult to administer that you can't see really how AppMemory you have. Nevertheless, here are some tips to use:
    http://www.BlackBerry.com/BTSC/KB15345
    http://www.BlackBerry.com/BTSC/KB14320
    http://www.BlackBerry.com/BTSC/KB14213

Finally, it is always important to correctly close applications when you are finished with them. Using the back or on the red button won't do that - those leave the app to decide what to do... and some let themselves memory-resident, consumes resources on your BB, slowing down the overall performance. Rather, to close an application, press the BBKey and select 'Farm' or 'Quit'... that forces the application to be closed, freeing for your new use the resources it consumed. Some applications will always be running (in general - BBMessenger, browser, homescreen, phone and Messages)... but, you should always close them properly - especially the browser... If we leave on a web page, it will not consume only additional resources, but the power of the battery as well.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones untrapped exception: ApplicationRegistry.waitFor (0x7c802477365c3985) timeout

    Hello everyone,

last weekend I am facing a problem with my BB Curve 8520. I don't know what caused it, but I remember it all started when I turned on the phone after getting out of the metro station because my WhatsApp did not work. (In fact WhatsApp and Leo app dictionary never work after I get out of the place where there is no network, so I have to turn off the phone, remove the battery and turn it on again).

So, this time when I turned on the phone once again, he started to give me the message "index eception exception 4 > = 4" and subsequently this msg appeared "Eception exception: ApplicationRegistry.waitFor (0x7c802477365c3985) timeout ' and I could not send msg via Whatsapp. I said, that it could occur a problem I did once again.  The messages kept appearing and at one point it freezes and couldn't do nothing.

The next day, I realized that I could not call or receive a. I could not access even the call log but I could receive normal SMS.

The situation remains the same crate now: I receive the message "Eception exception: ApplicationRegistry.waitFor (0x7c802477365c3985) timeout ', I cannot make or receive calls, cannot access the call register, WhatsApp works sometimes ok, sometimes I can not receive or send a msg but I can receive SMS messages.

I tried the safe mode and also to restart while it is, but nothing changes. Once I deleted WhatsApp but the msg kept appearing.

My opinion is that the problem is WhatsApp but I couldn't find in the log of events (Information) (with alt + lglg). I would really appreciate f someone could give me some advice what to do.

    Thank you in advance!

    Kind regards
    MI

And I tried to download the App World from: http://www.blackberry.com/appworld but it always shows uncaught exception message ~ please tell me how to download "throw it!"? Thank you, David.

David, please do a reboot on the BlackBerry this way simple: with smart BlackBerry poweredphone, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart. A reboot in this way is prescirbed for most the gltiches and operating system errors, and you will lose any data on the device doing so.

    Now:

    1. open the App World
    2. go to my world
    3. for the BB keyboard-oriented - hold down the ALT key and press "RST."
    3. for the storm - hold the num-lock ('! 123 ") button so that it hangs and then click on '(34).
    4. If your BB locks after issuing clear cache, do a battery pull reboot

  • BlackBerry Smartphones untrapped exception: application net_rim_bb_addressbook_app (311) is unresponsive. process is completed

I get this message when I try to add a contact in my phonebook. Seem to have this problem after the installation of the animated avatars vol 2 on my 9300 curve 3G OS 5. Tried to delete the app, remove the battery while the phone was still on and even tried the upgrade of the OS 6. But no avail. Teribbly disappointed that BB has some questions for the simple requirement to add and edit contacts.

    Hi all

Guess what... Finally managed to solve this headache.

Just remove any applications you may have recently updated / delete applications that were recently installed before the error started actually took place. After that, disconnect the battery while the phone is always "on" and reboot the phone.

In fact I had deleted a whole bunch of applications to facilitate my upgrade of the OS that I had not enough memory on my instrument.  This not only helped solve my problem mentioned above, but also makes my phone restarts in less than 3 minutes (restarting earlier was done in no less than 15 minutes!).

So my conclusion from the above incidents is to keep your apps in the strict minimum so that your phone performs the best.

PS: While looking for solutions to the problems, I had seen a lot of similar problems and strongly think that such problems are why BB and will lose their strog holds in the country even as the United States and the Canada. No one would ever even to have a phone that is unable to add contacts to their directory.  So BB really needs to work on the defective Apps on the app as well as world at least, existing clients are not courted by Android and I have phones.

    Hello

My BB 8220 flip has always had battery problems. Lately the battery dies after only 8 hours in standby mode. The last time he died was two days ago, and after four hours of charging it finally turned back on - only to have the error "untrapped Exception: java.lang.NullPointerException' on-screen display.»  I noticed that now, the call log does not work for incoming, outgoing and missed calls.  The SMS also mysteriously disappeared, so I am not able to send and receive texts.  My address book is still intact.  I did not so I don't have all the additional applications on the phone, just that it came with a data plan.  I tried to restart (remove battery) several times, but the error has not set itself.

Simple ways to correct this error, or is my phone forever?

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

Given your description, I would recommend a reload of the OS or upgrade. From a PC, you can install any bundle of BONES to a BB via this procedure:

Note that although written for "reload", it can be used to upgrade, downgrade, or recharge - it depends on the OS package you download and install on your PC. You can even use a different OS package carriers simply insert, between steps 1 and 2, the deletion, on your PC, a file named PROVIDER. XML. remember that you remove from your PC, no matter what other packages devices OS BB as having more than one installed on the PC can cause conflicts with this procedure.

If you are on a MAC, you are limited to only your sanctioned carriers OS packages... but can still use any level they currently have to sanction. See this procedure:

If Yes, then may be the unit you have purchased already has some strategies active COMPUTER that aims to prevent these applications or features. To remove all political IT from that device to first make a backup of your Contacts, etc. using BlackBerry Desktop Software.

Once you have your backup refer to this Knowledge Base and reset your device to factory setting:

Reseting your device as it will remove these COMPUTER strategies, but more importantly after a reset while restoring your backup does everything restore, perform a selective restoration which may include Contacts, notes, calendar etc. entries.
