  Method 2:

  Check the proxy server settings are turned on. To do this, try the following steps:

  a. disable the proxy on Internet Explorer (IE)
  b. Click Start, type inetcpl.cpl and press to enter.
  c. click on the Connections tab, click the LAN Settings button.
  d. uncheck "Use a proxy server for your LAN" under proxy server.
  e. click ok to apply the changes.
  f. open Internet Explorer and check if the problem persists.

  Method 3:

  Try the following steps and try to serve DNS renew IP address and check if it helps.
  a. Click Start. Type cmd in the search box and press ENTER.
  b. at the command prompt, type the following command and press ENTER:

• Problem loading in outlook express after changing Internet service providers.

  Then work on these steps.

  1: create a new Folders.dbx file.

  Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store folder will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files. Note the location and navigate on it in Explorer Windows or, copy and paste in start | Run.

  In Windows XP, Win2K & Win2K3 the OE user files (DBX and WAB) are by default marked as hidden.   A new Folders.dbx file will be created when you open OE. Note these possible side effects:

  2: do not archive mail in the receipt or sent items box.  Create your own user-defined folders and move messages you want to put in them. Empty the deleted items folder daily. Although the dbx files have a theoretical capacity of 2 GB, I recommend all a 300 MB max for less risk of corruption.

  3: after you're done, followed by compacting your folders manually while working * off * and do it often.

  Click Outlook Express at the top of the the folder tree so no folders are open. Then: File | Work offline (or double-click on work online in the status bar). File | Folder | Compact all folders. Don't touch anything until the compacting is completed.

  3: disable e-mail scanning in your anti-virus program.  It is a redundant layer of protection that devours the processors and causes a multitude of problems such as time-outs and account setting changes.   For some programs, turning it off is not enough. You may need to uninstall and reinstall in custom Mode and remove the analysis when e-mail messages.

  If all else fails, try a new identity.

  You may have a damaged identity especially if it's the default main identity. File | Identity | Add the new identity. Create a new one and try it. If all goes well, you can import your messages and address book from the old identity and delete it.

  Note: Do not use the main word in the name of the new identity.

  We are switching internet providers of Charter, which is slow and unreliable, a fiber of 1 gig of TDS connection. Currently, we are using the modem provided by Charter (which we will return), combined with a very old AirPort Extreme of probably around 2007 and a just as old AirPort Express to extend the network, although I do not know if it is. We use an iMac connected to the internet 2010, but most of our consumption is on our iPad and iPhone, as well as the video streaming (Netflix, Plex, etc.). Due to the age and the layout of our House, it is not very easy to hard wire on television, thinking it is something that we watched in the future when we are ready for some changes.

  With regard to the performance of the network that he will come down to will be the following:

  I have a portable Satellite U500 bought in Australia and I have a problem that when I connect to my mobile internet it freezes.

  I tried two different mobile internet providers thinking that maybe it's a problem with them, but both are the issue. I tried to put in different UBS ports (as there are three of them) and it freezes again any port. Via USB thumb drives in one of them or connection USB keyboard/mouse does not cause a problem, so I don't think that it can be USB ports.

  When I connect to internet via LAN to work I have no problem. I scanned my computer from viruses and its own. Frost occurs with mobile internet USB only and has only started in the last two or three months, I've had the laptop since December, running Vista.

  Help? Does anyone else have this problem?

  However, if you have a gateway device, all devices in gateway (modem + router) are terrible for connectivity and wireless performance.   If this does not work, suggest you put this bridge in full bridge mode device and install your own router of high quality that YOU have full control over.

• Problems with the internet connection Wi - Fi

  I posted a few days ago that I recently switched internet providers, and since my laptop shows or says it is connected but when I click on something, it appears in the taskbar bottom right of the screen there is no internet connection, but still it always shows an internet connection.  I have the laptop configured to use the connection with a router that is installed on my main computer. There are no other problems with any of my other devices, other phones, tablets or smartphones.  It just seems to be this laptop.  Its a Vaio Sony, bought February 2012.  I tried what was suggested last time, go into the control panel and the activation of something.  Im not a tech person, please help.

  I can't find any recent info here on Octoshape/InfinateHD. Recently, I've rejuvenated my old MacBook (late 2009, white) for my husband who is new to Apple/Mac. While I was browsing through old files (the laptop worked if slow, I had a hard time to do something without having to walk away and wait for the loading process, troubleshooted my way through the mud), I came across 1 file, I discovered was spyware, adware, malware, trojan: genieoinnovations. I have no idea when it installed or what he tag along. My day to download 3rd party software are long by the way. My MacBookPro to death of love. I have never found anything else that looked suspicious, but I decided to erase the disc and not reinstall a cleaning in the end. Glad I did, MacBook runs now healthy, happy and fresh as a newborn babe.* wee

  [Only after 24 hours of fighting of the installation, the recovery mode, the user prefs being glitch/broken etc, visited these communities several times to diagnose a problem after another.]

  This prompted me to stroll in the library of my own laptops (background: I don't no/don't will not erase the things I'm years uncertain of, learned my lesson, and I know better than to start doing things here and there) research and don't button don't not files.

  Screw the "how to write a good question", I'll be explicit enough here.

  I have an iPhone with the latest firmware 6. I have an iPod nano 7th generation with the last update of the firmware. I also have iTunes version 12.3.3.17.

  I've been using apple and iTunes for my music and it works well. The biggest advantage of the apple ecosystem is its General ease of use (at the expense of the power user who wishes to have more granularity and control more changes, but I digress).

  Long story short, before I updated to iTunes 12.3.3.17, I could sync my iPhone 6 and my iPod nano 7th generation very well. After update iTunes 12.3.3.17, it will recognize that I'm trying to connect my iPod nano 7th generation, but you will encounter an error. iTunes 12.3.3.17 does not yet take into account that I connect any type of device when I try to connect my iPhone 6.

  I tried the following:

  (1) I checked the cable. I tried 2 usb cables of lightning. The two cables are fine. Connect to iTunes still does not work

  (2) I tried all ports on my laptop. My USB ports are fine. Still doesn't connect to iTunes.

  (3) I tried to uninstall and reinstall iTunes. Still doesn't connect to iTunes.

  (4) I tried to roll back to an older version. I encounter an error of the library where the old version of iTunes cannot read the new version of iTunes library.

  No, restoring an older version of iTunes and follow the measures to ensure that the library is read isn't a real solution, it's a work around until the next update.

  I'm not willing to mess around with the files, potentially lose my library and the money I've invested there.

  I like iTunes because it is the online library of wide, I know where I can buy the music. I'm not in the trend of premium internet radio, where people subscribe to get full access to a huge library of songs. I am a young old school (going on 24 years) who prefers physically possess (or in the case of apple, license) copies of music that I like. I get many premium internet providers allowing you to download songs for offline listening, but it's only for as long you pay their subscription.

  Apple is currently working for me because I have a "safe" online to buy and download songs, as well as synchronize with my devices in a simple and direct way. However, I am fiercely musical, and I know and understand the other side of the economy of music where people are downloading freeware music software to manage their libraries and/or download music from sites such as BandCamp and SoundCloud (in some cases, legally and for free).

  I ask because I want to know when I can expect the next real solution to this problem. This isn't some minor, the issue of 'oh, we have abandoned in favor of this product'. Right now, I am unable to manage my Apple ecosystem because of this blunder. And I searched through the forums and the "solutions" that have been given have been workarounds for this problem.

  When can I expect the next version of iTunes to spread and apple knows about this question and to devote resources to solve? This isn't a race of the issue of the factory, is a huge blunder, and I read support wires that date back to when the first version was released in March. We will get a solution soon? or will we have to wait for the next stable release?

  I recently changed internet providers and have had trouble with firefox. I have uninstalled then reinstalled version 6.02, it worked well before, but now I can't use the Tools/Options at all. I'm going into it to change the settings and can't check boxes, none are checked, and when I click any of all the entry has a dotted line around it, but will not check. Please help as I do not know how secure it is now... Thanks in advance
