I find it tiresome and very secure as anyone who uses my computer can read my emails.  I guess my computer is somehow related to my Windows Live account. I did a search for these emails in my Hotmail account and they don't even exist.

  These files are probably within your e-mail program on your computer (for example, Outlook, Windows Live Mail, Thunderbird or another program).

  You can turn off the messages to appear in the search results, but anyone could still just open your e-mail program and snooping.  The only way to be really sure is to use a password on your computer and let other people use a guest account (or make their own account).

  When I click on START and open the classic Menu, I have the normal search below box and I can type things in.

  But using enter, does nothing.  If I put the cursor at the end of the text to search for, it still does nothing.

  Now you can try it without risk of finding the registry entry.
  Type regedit in the search in the start menu and choose regedit.exe by clicking on it.
  You are now in the registry editor.
  On the left side under the computer, click on the small arrow next to HKEY_CURRENT_USER to expand a list of items. Search for software and to extend it again by clicking on the small arrow next to him. Now search Microsoft, it redevelop and image search for Windows. Expand it and look for the current Version.   First of all, check if the NetBIOS protocol is installed on your Windows XP computer. To install the NetBIOS Protocol, follow these steps:

  1. click on start, click on Control Panel and then double-click network connections.

  2. right click on the card that you want to add NetBEUI to and then click Properties.

  3. on the general tab, click on install.

  4. click on Protocol and then click Add.

  5. Click to select NetBIOS protocol in the list, and then click OK.

  6. restart your computer.

  Also make sure that NetBIOS over TCP/IP is enabled in the Windows XP computer. To do this, follow these steps.

  Turn on NetBIOS over TCP/IP
