Interpolation of data within a volume

OK, I quickly wrote a trilinear interpolation from scratch. See if it works for you. (Attached VI is LabVIEW 8.2)

(Make sure that you are not indexing outside volume. There is probably a little more DIY and the necessary checks, it's just a rough draft.)

The definition of fractional indices is similar to the index table, except that the fractional value are allowed similar to my old bilinear demo, see also here)

  • Question: Sort photos by date within the album.

    Hello

    I have a silly question: is it possible to sort photos by date within Albums? I know that if I choose 'photos' mode they are arranged by date, but when I chose pictures to create a new album, they are not sorted by date.

    What version of Photos do you use?

    In Photos 1.3, you can sort photos by date in an album.

    Select the album in the sidebar, ctrl-click, click "Sort" and select "keep sorted by...» ».

    To bring up the sidebar enter the key combination command-option-S ⌥⌘S

  • Re-locate personal data of different Volume?

    We will find a background for this question to "http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/office/forum/office_2007-outlook/outlook-2007-pst-file-does-not-compact/2753e675-c44e-42a2-9890-9de1bb2e1d2d" where he had drifted off topic and has not responded.  This may be a more appropriate place:

    In Windows 7 I would like to re - locate in the form of a "Standard user" very personal data as possible to a HD volume separate from the system volume.  (There are at least two reasons for this: 1) more easily back up data to personal and easy system restore from an image backup or reinstalling Windows.  2) implementation of software restriction policies if the 'Standard user' can only save/edit data on a volume of user data and can only run the software on a system volume.  (Other installed software would go also on the system volume).  I had managed to accomplish something like this in XP SP3 by moving my limited user "s"Documents and Settings"(I don't remember how), including my user profile with Outlook PST file and the My Documents, my pictures, folders etc. on another volume.  Now, I'm the migration to Windows 7 and eager to make more or less the same thing in sanctioned way.

    In the referenced thread Palcouk had warned me as follows:

    > I didn't know security advice which suggests to store data on drive them without winning

    You can redirect the win7 to another internal location libraries, a simple documented procedure.

    There are methods found by a Google/Bing search to locate the user folder to another location, they are not supported and will result in various problems

    I tried to learn how to use libraries in Windows 7 to effectively move the various personal data files (for example, My Documents, my pictures, etc.).  There are a few cookbooks for this as 'http://www.techsupportalert.com/content/how-move-windows-7-personal-folders-my-documents-another-drive.htm '.

    There are also methods out there to move the Outlook PST file to another volume, such as "http://slipstick.com/outlook/config/to-move-an-outlook-personal-folders-pst-file/".

    There are not even in the entire relocation of a user profile (or something less ambitions) to "http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/87555-user-profile-change-default-location.html".  I guess this includes Outlook. PST file, e-mail accounts configured, etc. ?

    Finally, I've seen instructions to move all of the Documents and Settings to another drive at the end of the thread of Technet next: "http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/windows/en-US/6f6a14a7-bc47-494c-8d12-3328a9a11285/how-to-move-documents-and-settings-and-all-libraries-to-d-drive-to-separate-from-the-os?forum=w7itproui."  If it means the same thing in Windows 7 as in Windows XP. It seems to encompass all of the above for all users!

    So my question is, are at - it methods above is legitimate (they are certainly tempting in my case!), or what goals do I give up?   -JCW2

    Move the folders user as shown in the two articles is as says not supported by MS and cause other problems

    With outlook closed you just move the pst data file to another internal location, outlook will complain when you start, just browse to the new location

    Win7 is a completely different animal to Winxp shouldn't happen to related processes you implemented in Windows XP, it is not necessary in win7

    Depends on what you mean by Standard user

    Create a second account admin (of security)

    Outlook and other software requires full permissions to make it work

    Location of data on a no drive location of victory does not backups of data easier, its not different to the data in the default location

  • File server data - of RDM Volumes or VMFS?

    People,

    I use vSphere Enterprise Plus 4.1.

    I read on the RDM debate VMFS v. However, it seems that the arguments for VMFS assumes that you plan to run the operating system of the volume. In this case VMFS WINS.

    I put aside for a couple of my operating system already VMFS volume. But one of the virtual machine will be a file server. I intend to add 7 x 500 GB of LUNS to this virtual machine. I don't plan to do snapshots of these volumes.

    It seems that there is not much to skew the argument one way or another for each type of storage. In the absence of any compelling reason, I'm slightly siding with the RDM. It will give me more flexibility in storage 'pivot' if ever I need to upgrade and I won't get the red exclamation mark appearing in vCenter as I would fill my VMFS volume with a virtual disk file.

    Can I ask for some advice on what would be a 'best practices' to add volumes that will be used to store the data?

    Kind regards

    Michael

    From a management perspective I'd go for RDM, especially if she wants to be a file server.

    Let's look at a few arguments. If you go for VMFS, this means that all I/o to the file server would be shared with the rest of the virtual machines residing on the data store (which, depending on your configuration might be ok). RDM also offer the advantage of being able to migrate to physics at some point, if the workload increases beyond the point where it makes sense to have a virtual machine.

    Also, I wouldn't go all way on RDM, just for the volumes of data. So the OS goes on VMFS throughout the rest of the ROW. Do not think to much about performance, like lately the differences between VMFS and RDM are negligible.

  • ASM > move the files of data within a disk group.

    Hello

    Is it possible to rename a directory within ASM?

    How to rename the directory DATA1/PROD/DATA files to DATA DATA1/DEV/files?

    In addition, how to rename the data files to point to DATA1/DEV/DATA files instead of DATA DATA1/PROD/files?

    Published by: CipherDBA on March 31, 2011 12:32

    Hello

    Unfortunately we are unable to do this. It's a shame.

    ASM disk groups contain a structure of hierarchical directory generated by the ASM files storage system. Created system directories (those that contain names generated by the system) cannot be renamed.

    ASMCMD> ls -lt
    Type Redund Striped Time Sys Name
                                            Y    ORCL/

    http://download.Oracle.com/docs/CD/E11882_01/server.112/e16102/asmfiles.htm#CIHGHHCC

    See the note below... Maybe this can help you.

    * How Rename/move a data file in the same [564993.1 ID] ASM diskgroup *.
    Applies to:
    Oracle Server - Enterprise Edition - Version: 10.1.0.2 to 11.1.0.6

    or

    You can use the DUPLICATE (RMAN) to clone the database on the same diskgroup with an another DB_UNIQUE_NAME/DB_NAME.
    Be very careful when you perform this step if the new setting of database is not configured correctly you can alter the production of your database.
    It's a very dangerous duplicate database on the same DISKGROUP.

  • Trainer to date within the ItemRenderer list...

    I am trying to format the date timestamp of a mySQL database that I display within a list in a mobile application. The trainer also works perfectly... However, when I call in the item list converter, no dice... I'm sure it's a syntax error, but I don't seem to be able to understand:

    Here is my IconItemRenderer for the list:

    <s:IconItemRenderer xmlns:fx="http://ns.adobe.com/mxml/2009"
                        xmlns:s="library://ns.adobe.com/flex/spark"  labelField="displayLongDTF.format(date)"
                        messageField="username" iconWidth="32" iconHeight="32" decorator="@Embed('assets/button-help-32x32.png')" >
    </s:IconItemRenderer>

    Here's my decleration of rendering engine:

    <s:DateTimeFormatter id="displayLongDTF" dateTimePattern="EEE, MM / dd, yyyy h:mm a"/>

    And when I run... It is simply void where the date should be...

    Yes, you need something like this:

    http://ns.Adobe.com/MXML/2009.

    xmlns:s = "library://ns.adobe.com/flex/spark".

    labelFunction = "dateLabelFunction."

    ... >

    private void dateLabelFunction(item:Object):String

    {

    Return someformatter.format (item.date);

  • Request for the old data that does not correspond to new data within a given period

    Hi all

    The reports that I need to create one for all employees who were going from one Department to another within a given period. The way I ran this report in Reportsmith (taken from our old system) was to compare the dept field from the start date to the dept in the end date field and it gives me these associate who had moved. I had to do it this way b/c dept changes can occur using several different types of actions (change to Surv, promotion, etc.), none of them exclusive to only change dept. We now use Oracle HRMS and I need to create this report even with this system using SQL.

    Does anyone know how to compare the data between two different dates and shoot those who do not match? Your help will be GREATLY appreciated!

    Best regards,

    Hello

    Here is an example of an INSERT statement that may be relevant to this issue:

    INSERT INTO emp_action (empno, action_date, deptno)
                    VALUES     (7902,    TO_DATE ('2009-06-18, 'YYYY-MM-DD'),   10);

    If someone wants to help you, in doing anything more than guess, then that person probably will need create tables that are similar to yours (but much smaller).
    To do this, they can issue instructions CREATE TABLE to the tables, the INSERT commands to fill (put data in) the tables.
    The tables invloved in this problem are probably simple, so if I can see some INSERT statements, I can probably write instructions CREATE TABLE myself and save you the trouble.

    For more info on INSERT, see the [Manual of the SQL language | http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B28359_01/server.111/b28286/statements_9014.htm#sthref8944]

    If you compare the deptno to a row of a table to the previous line, you can use the analytic LAG, something like this:

    WITH     got_prev_deptno  AS
    (
         SELECT     empno
         ,     action_date
         ,     deptno
         , LAG (deptno) OVER ( PARTITION BY empno
                                     ORDER BY         action_date
                          )   AS prev_deptno
         FROM     action_table
    )
    SELECT     *
    FROM     got_prev_deptno
    WHERE   deptno         != prev_deptno
    AND     action_date >= TO_DATE ('2009-01-0'1, 'YYYY-MM-DD')
    AND     action_date <  TO_DATE ('2009-03-01', 'YYYY-MM-DD')
    ;

    Like all functions, the OFFSET is described in the [Manual of the SQL language | http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B28359_01/server.111/b28286/index.htm#I].

    Warnings of boiler plate:

    DO NOT delete files in your folder-> library tree as it has things like backups of your iPhone, your emails, your application preferences, etc...  If you think that you found something in your Home-> library folder which can be removed, you must ask first.

    DO NOT remove the files outside your home folder, you can end up removing something essential to Mac OS X and transform your Mac into a costly "door Stop."

    I want to say that you will find a few very large files in private-> var-> vm (these are Mac OS X virtual memory paging files (swapfiles) and where Mac OS X stores the RAM copy when your Mac is paused).  The swapfiles are removed on reboot, and the sleep image will just be recreated when you put your Mac to sleep.

    If you think that you found something to remove outside your home folder, it would be better to ask first before deleting.  There are many examples of people deleting files outside their home folder, rename files, or change the property or file permissions and then their Mac stops running.  Don't be one of those people.  Ask first.

  • You can save a connection of data within a fragment?

    Hi all

    IM wondering if there is a way to save a fragment and keep the data connection, it uses? I have a company details form that uses a search for number of business on a web service, but when I save it as a fragment and use it in another form, it does not have the data connection and therefore does not work. Is there a way to get around this?

    See you soon!

    Nope... .you will have to implement the dataconnection in the form of accommodation.

  • Storage of data within my app.

    Hello.

    I'm developing a PlayBook with ActionScript application. I'm very very new with this.

    I want to record three list of words. I wonder to use XML. Is it possible to read the XML? I found this: XML.

    It will be like a table with two columns:

    -ID

    -Word

    -Language

    I read that SQLite is supported, but I don't want to use a database to store three lists of words (maybe it's the best solution and simpler).

    How can I do this?

    Thank you.

    How the english.xml file is created?

    If they are installed with your application, then you must use File.applicationDirectory.resolvePath (' assets/english.xml"); or whatever.

  • Re: How to add data within the app, readers?

    You will need to build an HTML form and then include it via a web overlay in your folio.
