    Hey Fariss,.

Change the default program for .jpg in the Windows Photo Viewer or another application and see if it helps. In addition, you can run scan SFC (System File Checker).

everything is fine apart from when I try to run everything I try to download (upgrade Messenger, i-tunes, download a microsoft game) I get the message "invalid win32 application."

its done this from when I bought my pc.
any suggestion would be great... Thank you.

    Hello

There are two reasons why the error message:

    1. There was a problem with the downloaded file and it can be damaged... Download again,

    2. you try to install a 64-bit on a 32-bit computer fix... Download the 32-bit version of the hotfix on a 32-bit computer.

You will also get this error if you try to open a document at the required application is not installed. You must have the appropriate application installed to open the document.

  • Pavilion DV7-3060us: BIOS restore file "not a win32 application invalid" (Pavilion DV7)

I have an intermittent (about 19 times out of 20) on a Pavilion DV7-3060us BIOS failure.  After that you press power, the fan and the light turns on, the screen remains black and lock/num lock flashing twice, pause, flash twice, etc..  Sometimes, the computer will boot normally to Win7.   Near as I can understand, I need to reflash the BIOS.  I downloaded the image file winflash/BIOS (SP47531.exe) the drivers and software page, but when I try to run it, I get a "...". not a Win32 valid request"message.

Any advice on how to get this file to run it, or another method to solve the failure of startup issue, would be very much appreciated.

So much worse... apparently the problem is I downloaded the file through Chrome.  Downloaded with IE on another machine, recorded on a USB key, it connected the USB on the machine of problem without difficulty.  Does not seem to have solved my problem starting, but the 'valid not a Win32 application' error has been resolved.

  • "Not a win32 application invalid" error

    Hi all

I am running Vista Home Basic, and this problem just started happening recently.  It's okay that I download, whenever I try to launch it, I get the error "not a win32 application valid."  I checked all support topics I can find on the subject, but I can't seem to understand.  Any suggestions?

Have you looked at the different reasons and solutions here http://en.kioskea.net/faq/1591-exe-is-not-a-valid-win32-application

  • Not a Win32 application invalid

I'm trying to install all the programs said "is not a valid Win32 application" I uninstalled Ad-aware and AVG Anti virus and get this message when I re - load and launch the new. exe.files

I use Vista Home 32-bit of the system on a Dell PC.

Someone tell me what might be wrong, please?

    Hello

    • This happens with all the executable files?
    • What changes have been made on the front on this issue?
    • This only happens when you try to install a program?

If there is a problem with software programs during the installation, where they have downloaded recently? Because you get these error message, especially when the files are corrupted. You will need to re-download the files or if they were downloaded before running a scan on your computer since the utilities below and check if there are infections that causes this problem.

Run a Virus scan using a live care online utility.

  • WinRAR .exe error: 'not a win32 application invalid. "

I downloaded WinRAR several times now from two different sites. Whenever I do it, I said through the download bar that is not commonly downloaded and executed it may harm my computer, I know that these two sites are reliable, so that the file is not corrupted. On the attempt to run it however, I said that the .exe file is not "a valid win32 application". I tried to download and run both versions 32 and 64 bits with the same exact results. to start I ran a Virus Scan using Malwarebytes free Version and NOT to start the trial when you are prompted before scan uninstall Winrar then run a Full Scan with Malwarebytes and then restart the computer, and then determine which system Type you have by right click on computer, then press properties and copy / paste the links to download Tell if it works after you follow me these Instructions.

  • the menu desktop shortcuts and start to return a *.lnk not a win32 application invalid

shortcuts on the desktop and start menu retrun all error "*.lnk not a win32 application valid."  applications work at the opening of the program files folder, but when I send the request to the computer desk or crerate a shortcut and drag on the desktop, I get the same Win32 error when I try to open them from the desktop

You can try the solution from this article: fixes for Windows Vista file association (I know, it's for Vista, but it contains exactly the same values in the registry for .lnk)

But I'm confused because this issue should only concern the specific account, if this account contains more extra value in the registry: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FileExts\.lnk\UserChoice (this path should not exist in the registry). I mentioned only the key main ".lnk" with two subkeys: "OpenWithList" and "OpenWithProgids", I understand that you do not have this key "UserChoice"?

    ...

If the solution above does not work you can always try: difficulty of a user profile is corrupted
