IOM generated null connection

Hey guys,.

I noticed on two different backgrounds from IOM I have a similar situation, trying to reconcile, for the first time, a large part of the users. They are in the process of reconciliation, but generated connection sucks. On a system, it is my policy that generates connections and I can see in a newspaper that it actually produces correct connections, but they land to IOM, with null values in the environment of the second, I used only one oracle OOTB class with [email protected]. And yet, he fails to land users in IOM with correct connections for a chunk of data.

I wonder if there is a limit to a number of users created by a recon run? You have any ideas of what can be the problem?

Thank you

Hello

We have also encountered this kind of question.

We found after adjustment following property value 1 solved our problem.

Recon batch size

This property is used to specify the batch size for the reconciliation. You can specify 0 as value for this indicate that reconciliation will not be performed in batches.

Note: You must restart Oracle Identity Manager after setting this property.

IOM. ReconBatchSize

500

Administration of system - 11g Release 1 (11.1.1) properties

Also, I hope you took your DB Backup, you can restore your DB and you can try with after setting this property to 1.

  • ADF app on autonomous WLS: ORA-01005: password null; connection refused

    Hello!

    I managed to deploy ADF 11 g application on stand-alone WLS 10.3.3. When the application is executed, ORA-01005 error: password null; denied logon is thrown with the stacktrace.

    -WLS runs in a mode of production, so the solution proposed here http://radalcove.com/blog/?p=34 does not apply
    -J' read note metalink running an ADF Application standalone WLS fails with errors Houston-26061 ORA-01005 [ID 958650.1] which suggests that if the WLS is in production mode, then I must create a data source in the WLS I did. Needless to say, DS is applied to existing server instance
    -Jdeveloper ADF 11 g application is configured for deployment with ' Auto generate and Synchronize weblogic - jdbc.xml deployment descriptors
    -Needless to say, the application works fine in JDeveloper WLS
    -One thing that cought my eye is that in the WLS under "Deployments",-> myApplication, console there is a myDBconn of type JDBC Configuration module, which is a database connection created in JDeveloper. So, seems that this application is deployed is still using the JDBC connection and not the source of data in WLS?

    Any help is appreciated

    Rade,

    Have you changed the configuration of the application module to use an instead of the url before you deployed jdbc data source? Click the am right, choose settings, and then click change

  • IOM AD connector - connect not not AD LDAP

    Hello

    I am new to Oracle Identity Management, so that could be a problem trivial misconfiguration.

    I installed IOM under Windows Server 2003 with AD and Exchange is already configured (with multiple user accounts).
    Then I installed the connector AD for IOM and set up the "AD Server" resource as follows:

    Name: ADITResource
    Type: AD Server

    Admin FQDN: CN = Administrator, CN = Users, dc = mydomain, dc = COM / / tested with a LDAP browser - ok
    Admin login: administrator
    Admin password: *.
    Allow the Provisioning of password: Yes
    Port number: 636
    Context root: OU = HQ1, DC = MyDomain, dc = COM / / tested with a LDAP browser - ok
    SSL Port number: 636
    Server address: 127.0.0.1
    Use SSL: Yes
    Feel: no
    isLookupDN: no

    Next, I set up the ActiveDirectoryReconTask, using the ADITResource above.

    When I run the task, it works instantly, but nothing is really happening.
    In the JBoss console, I get a lot of lines saying:

    UsernamePasswordLoginModule/initialize [ACCOUNTMANAGEMENT] INFO: One-authenticated identity: unknown

    and then tell an exception:

    ERROR [API] class/method: tcLookupOperationsBean/getLookupValuesFilteredData a few problems: the LookupCode 'null' does not exist.

    In the Deisgn Console, under reconciliation Manager, there is no result.

    I then tried to set up the ADITResource not use the SSL protocol and connect to the port no. 389.
    Same results, console JBoss raise the same errors and exceptions.

    I also tried to launch the connector test announcement, runADTest.bat, but that no longer works (it could not create the test user in AD).

    With SSL, the runADTest.bat error is:

    [OIMCP. A/d converters], the error occurred in ADClient::connectorToAvailableAD (): 127.0.0.1:636; Socket is closed.
    [OIMCP. A/d converters], class/method: ADClient/creatingUser encounters some problems: connection error occur
    .......
    [OIMCP. A/d converters], the user Createdfalse

    Without SSL, the runADTest.bat error is:

    [OIMCP. "A/d converters], the error occurred in ADClient::createObject (): LDAP: error code 32-0000208 D: NameErr: IDDM - 031001 CD, problem 2001 (NO_OBJECT), data 0, best football game of the: ' OU = HQ1, DC = MyDomain, DC = COM"
    .......
    [OIMCP. A/d converters], the user Createdfalse

    Once again, the "OU = HQ1, DC = MyDomain, DC = COM" is valid.

    Clues?

    Thank you

    SearchBase we give in Recon user and Recon group.

    I have not used this recon. Are you able to see any other User Recon for the AD user object.

    Check once more.

  • Redirect IOM built-in connection after the forgotten password or timeout.

    Hello

    We have OAM and IOM deployed and integrated 11.1.2.2.0, nonclustered, with a DCC webgate using standard forms authentication.  IOM and OAM do not share a physical host or a domain.

    We can successfully connecting and disconnecting the IOM through the DCC webgate.

    The standard login form has had a link added to access the features of IOM forgotten password.

    1. After successfully using the password link forgot that you are presented with a button «Back to Login»  This button goes back to IOM standard connection on the host server screen, IOM and the port.

    2 when the IOM time-out is used, it also takes us back to the standard login IOM on IOM managed server host and portscreen.

    Nobody knows what he does to make sure that we get redirected to the page of OAM connection on the host of the CDC?

    Thanks in advance.

  • TMS get error when Loggin in it - value cannot be Null Connection String

    Hello Experts,

    Currently, TMS is running version 12.6 and while connecting to it, we get error messages that are associated with. We tried to restart the box, which did not help.

    I really appreciate your help.

    Hello

    So she has something recently changed with respect to users and / or domain? You try to connect with local users or domain users? I had issues like this before but I need much more information on the case.

    For similar cases a webex is often necessary to troubleshoot and view the log files. We do not provide this kind of support in the forums, then I really recommend you to prosecute TAC on this one because it will help you solve the problem more quickly.

  • BUG? Presentation of elements via Dynamic Action in Internet Explorer generates "null."

    I first noticed this using the newly improved apex.oracle.com. When I have dynamic action that must send the values of page element and the value is null / empty, the call to post/ajax result includes the literal 'null' as the value for this parameter.

    for example
    p_flow_id = 65928 & p_flow_step_id = 2110 p_instance = 574862348021401 & p_request = FLOW_PPR_OUTPUT_R1858426911545391_reset_R_1858426911545391 & p_arg_names = P2110_VENDOR1 & p_arg_names = P2110_VENDOR2 & p_arg_values = 3754 & p_arg_values = null

    This only happens in Internet Explorer. I use IE9, but it seems to work that way, if I put it in IE8 mode as well.

    I returned and tested in the Apex 4.1.1.00.23 and I got the same result.

    Greg

    Hi Greg,.

    Thanks again for the follow-up. You are right, it is the "Set Value" operation that causes the problem when it is called with a null value. In fact, it's a bug of IE underlaying.

    See http://stackoverflow.com/questions/5387038/null-values-shown-in-form-fields-in-ie and also http://bugs.jquery.com/ticket/5163 strengthening jQuery

    I will file a bug to use jQuery.val () workarounds to the problem.

    Thank you
    Patrick

    the first issue of priority celluler TCP post code is also more WAP2 then

    Thus, each transport time select TCP when BIS, WIFI not presend and need for apn

    in any case, once again, thank you Peter and demo tools network dignostic is awasome...

  • Problem with HttpConnection when it connects only not to wifi - java.io.IOException: Tunnel failed

    Hi all

    I develop an application that communicates with a database MySQL via PHP stored on the server scripts. Until today I've developed using the Simulator, and everything has been fine. I now started to test on a device and, while being connected to wifi, everything is still fine. However, the minute I turn off wifi and let the network provider, O2 UK, I get:

    "Request failed: reason: java.io.IOException: Tunnel failed".

    The source of the connection code is as follows:

       public void run() {
           // The following code will only build under JDE 4.5 and later

           try {
               String connectionParameters = "";
               // JDE 4.3 is required to get WLANInfo

    I scoured these forums and tried everything I can find. I tried different settings, including changing the APN settings both wap and mobile options for O2. Nothing seems to solve this problem.

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Thank you

    Jack

    OK, good news. Fixed. Thanks a lot for your answers. I would have understood the connection settings as they appear to have been the problem.

    I don't remember exactly which it generated, but I decided to try replacing it with the generator of connectionParameter above with the snippet connSuffix here:
    http://supportforums.BlackBerry.com/T5/Java-development/connecting-your-BlackBerry-http-and-socket-c...

    Worked like a dream, so I'm very indebted to all those who contributed to this. It now seems to work little matter the type of connection is available including BES.

    In case anyone is interested, however, I tried all combinations of settings APN bloody O2, but it came to nothing. I am disappointed that it was the connection settings I developed that a book by Apress, and I followed this particular part, Word for Word.

    Thank you all for the world of useful information here!

  • apex5, a null value to the title of the tree made the developer toolbar disappear

    Hello

    With for example the query tree:

    select case when connect_by_isleaf = 1 then 0
                when level = 1             then 1
                else                           -1
           end as status,
           level,
           (CASE WHEN "ENAME" = 'KING' THEN null ELSE "ENAME" END) as title, -- null value is evil
           null as icon,
           "EMPNO" as value,
           null as tooltip,
           null as link
    from "#OWNER#"."EMP"
    start with "MGR" is null
    connect by prior "EMPNO" = "MGR"
    order siblings by "ENAME"

    The developer toolbar disappears when there is a value zero in the title. It's very very difficult to detect the problem.

    Hi Paavo,

    Can I ask what you are trying to achieve by one of the labels by assigning null value?

    Null or an empty string are not useful as a tree node labels. Yet we could be as a minor bug that the area of the tree should be more robust in the JavaScript that it generates.

    Detect the problem (disappears from the dev toolbar) is not different from almost all JavaScript errors. Whenever any client-side behavior seems to not work, for example, no dev toolbar or a tree node does not expand, or a menu is not falling down, or something is not show or hide it should etc, the first thing to check is the browser console log. In this case, it shows the error ' SyntaxError: lack the name of the variable.

    Kind regards

  • Failure of the update of the form of the IOM process | Error: Could not execute database read

    Hello

    I encounter the following error when I try to create a new version for a form of OIM Design Console process:

    Description: Could not run the database to read. The database has encountered a problem with the specified SQL query. Solution: Check the database query. Contact your system administrator.

    It does not matter that I use xelsysadm or any system administrator account.

    Thank you.

    I found the solution!

    I was going through this blog: OIM 11 g: error after startup server IOM: retrieve the connection at the base

    In the last comment by Amit, he mentioned that the settings IOM - config.xml must be changed.

    So I discovered that IOM-config file. XML from my environment, under directDBConfigParams, url (jdbc thin driver) was wrong because of cloning.

    In addition, OIMFrontEndURL, RMI and SOAP URL were wrong.

    I corrected the and guess what... each utility works...

    However, you don't have to import/export the config of MDS file... you can change these details in the following MBEANs

    1 DirectDB

    2. the discovery

    3 SOAConfig

    > Reboot the server of the IOM.

    I knew this jdbc driver was not, but did not know where to set it up.

    I have listed the error in my last comment, so that if anyone has this problem, the text of this presentation would help.

    Thank you.

  • Channels for the identification of the records by using the syntax for Connect By

    Hello

    Can someone help with the following problem please?

    Our database records evaluations of the child for families in difficulty. When get us in touch with them, ideallu:
    A child receives a preliminary assessment (evaluation).
    If they are deemed to have need for additional support, they are given a second assessment (B) that is triggered by the assessment and an ID of the trigger to identify what assessment he comes.
    If they are deemed to need further support, they are given a third evaluation (C) that is triggered by the 2 assessment and an ID of the trigger to show that it comes from the b. assessment
    This is also true for a fourth assessment (assessment) report that is triggered by the evaluation C.

    However, due to the poor implementation of this concept by our provider database and the lack of knowledge by the workers, we have 2 problems:

    (1) analysis has isn't always the starting point as a worker can start any assessment at any time, i.e. from c assessment.

    (2) in view of this, a child can have several evaluations of the same type, i.e. a x 3 C, 2 x B assessment assessment in no particular order.

    The problem:

    I need to identify the separate strings (desired_output) of intervention using the relationship between the registration ID and the ID of the trigger, as shown in the table below:

    Hello

    Little Penguin says:

    This isn't necessarily a bad design. If it really fits your business rules is another matter. But as a means to represent events from cause to effect, to be used to CONNECT BY queries, it makes sense.

    The problem:

    I need to identify the separate strings (desired_output) of intervention using the relationship between the registration ID and the ID of the trigger, as shown in the table below:

    Let me assure you that I understand. You don't really have an desired_output column; you will need to that derived from other columns. Right?

    Data:...

    Thanks for the display of the data of the sample; that really helps.

    Originally, I thought to use Oracle Connect By syntax, but it does not (as far as I can work on!) because I have no start condition (the string of assessments can start A or B or C or D) which leads to duplication of lines.

    Is not

    START WITH  trigger_id  IS NULL

    identify a starting point? If something has not been triggered by something else, it is not a starting point? It is actually quite common in the hierarchical tables.

    I thought I could use connect_by_root to group common assessments, but I am not convinced that this will give consistent results.

    I'm not sure that you understand the problem. What do you mean by "consistent results? The doubt that you are worried, what exactly?

    -------------------------

    select
    child_records.*,
    connect_by_root(nvl(trigger_id,record_id)) chain_id
    from child_records
    connect by trigger_id = prior record_id

    You got right. If I understand what you mean by consistent results, it will bring them. You want to START to condition, of course, and as the starting lines will never have a trigger_id, there is no need to tell

    CONNECT_BY_ROOT  NVL (trigger_id, record_id)   AS chain_id

    You can simply say

    CONNECT_BY_ROOT  record_id   AS chain_id

    This will be particularly well idnetify the strings of their record_ids. Looks like you want to assign new sequence numbers (1, 2, 3,...) to identify the channels. Which takes an extra step.

    --------------------

    Is an alternative, possibly using trigger_id = above lag(record_id,1,null) (child_id order partition of...) but the assessments are in no particular order, I don't think I can specify a command clause...?

    Right; LAG depends on the order and order tells us nothing to this problem.
    In fact, feeds means so little to this problem that an event can come before the event that triggered it.
    For example, if I understand the first two lines of your output

    CHILD_ID RECORD_ID TRIGGER_ID ASM_NAME REC_START_DATE            REC_END_DATE              DESIRED_OUTPUT
    -------- --------- ---------- -------- ------------------------- ------------------------- ----------------------
    A00001   R297931              B        18-JUN-10                 18-JUN-10                 1
    A00001   R299381   R297931    C        23-JUN-08                 23-JUN-08                 1

    C event was triggered by the event B, even if C took place two years before B.
    (Not that it is important for the SQL problem, but can you explain the logic of how events can come before or after the events that triggered them?) "I'm just curious.)

    Here's a way you can assign sequential numbers to identify the channels:

    WITH     got_d_num     AS
    (
         SELECT     c.*
         ,     ROW_NUMBER () OVER ( PARTITION BY  child_id     -- Just guessing
                                   ORDER BY          NVL2 ( trigger_id
                                                  , 2     -- rows with trigger_ids come 2nd
                                       , 1     -- rows without come 1st

    This example uses rec_start to affect chain_num and also sort the output, but not to determine wht in a string. The first 3 events untrigered (in rec_start order) have been in August 2008, October 2009 and June 2010, while they were assigned chain_nums 1, 2 and 3, in that order. Antyhting that was triggered by them, directly or indirectly, gets the same chain_num if it happened before or after the starting point of the chain. Thus, the first line of the output, in June 2008, gets chain_num = 3. You have assigned desired_output = 1 on this line. If you can explain how you got the number 1, we can probably find a way to code, so that the calculated chain_num is identical to desired_num. In the above query, they are not the same, but they are related. Everywhere you specified desired_output = 1, the above query produces chain_num = 3. If the numbers are the same (for example desired_output = 4 = chain_num) it's just a coincidence.

    Note that when I used ROW_NUMBER, I did in a subquery, not in the main query where the CONNECT BY were made. Never use the analytical functions (for example, ROW_NUMBER) in the same query with CONNECT BY. The analytical functions are often the cause CONNECT BY conditions to be incorrectly evuated. I have never seen any literature on this subject and it doesn't always happen, but I suggest that you avoid to mix everything well.

    I just read the answer from John, who has a nice illustration of my last point: use of the separate petitions for both analytical and CONNECT BY. You can use the analytic function first, and then CONNECT BY, as I did, or you can do the first CONNECT BY and then use the analytic function (in a solution of John DENSE_RANK) later. Whatever it is, you must separate them.

  • Time of excessive latency of connection... Adobe Air supports on mobile connection pooling?

    Hello

    I'm developing a mobile application that loads the thumbnail images to a remote server. During testing on the Android platform, however, I discovered that the images are very long to load. By monitoring the server logs, I determined that poor performance is caused by the absence of connection pooling, which means that each request creates a new connection. Running the sample code below on a mobile device produces 20 applications and 20 attempts to connect. By comparison, the same web application or desktop creates 2 connections and reuses connections for the following applications. Important overhead and latency associated with generating new connections has a significant impact on performance, with 20 thumbnails taking about 4-5 seconds to load on mobile compared to 0.5-1 second on a desk.

    I've included a sample application below the emphasis placed on the performance issue. The image itself is very small (290 bytes), to focus the issue on the latency of the connection. I confirmed this behavior on many Android devices running 4.1, 4.0 and 2.3. I also tried using the charger c. URLLoader v. URLStream and v. sequential loading with no change in the behavior of simultaneous connection. Trying to set up the connection to 'keep-alive' in the URLRequest has also no effect.

    package

    {

    import flash.display.Loader;

    import flash.display.Sprite;

    import flash.display.StageAlign;

    import flash.display.StageScaleMode;

    import flash.events.Event;

    import flash.net.URLRequest;

    import flash.utils.getTimer;

    SerializableAttribute public class Main extends Sprite

    {

    private var _count:int = 0;

    public void Main()

    {

    Super();

    internship. Align = StageAlign.TOP_LEFT;

    stage.scaleMode = StageScaleMode.NO_SCALE;

    trace ("Start time" + getTimer() + "ms");

    var loader: Loader;

    var url: String = " " http://fbcdn-profile-a.akamaihd.NET/static-AK/rsrc.php/v2/yo/r/UlIqmHJn-SK.gif ";  290 bytes

    for (var i: int = 0; i < 20; i ++) {}

    loader = new this.addChild (Loader()) as a charger.

    loader.contentLoaderInfo.addEventListener (Event.COMPLETE, complete);

    Loader.Load (new URLRequest (url));

    }

    }

    private void complete(event:Event):void

    {

    _Count ++

    trace ("Completed" + _count + 'to' + getTimer() + "ms");

    }

    }

    }

    So, I have a few questions:

    (1) is there something I can do to allow the reuse of connection?

    (2) is it an inherent limitation with Adobe Air for mobile?

    (3) is that someone can confirm if this limitation exists on other mobile platforms (iOS or Blackberry)?

    Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated. I really hope that this isn't a fundamental limitation of Adobe Air because it weakens my application to feel very slow.

    Thank you

    Adam

    OVER 50 with 1 Chargers in 2099 milliseconds or 41,98 by load.        50 1 2099 41,98

    Both are on the exit compilation, which should take all of the variability. So, Yes, it is as if the Runtime AIR 3.4 lost the pool of connections, but ONLY for Android.
