iOS 9.2.1 break Ford Sync 3

I have a new Ford with Sync 3 system coupled with my iPhone 6 s.  Phone calls Bluetooth or Bluetooth Audio was working fine until I updated to 9.2.1 yesterday. (Updated because of problem with the MDM companies)  Now when I try to make a phone call, the phone audio is choppy.  If I have the phone back to 'phone' and not of bluetooth, the sound is fine.  Music Bluetooth seems unaffected.

Remove the Association of the car radio and the phone and re - start the two, then re - match.

It is quite possible that you may need an update of the main unit.

  • Problem about the iPhone 6 s MORE and Ford SYNC (Ford Ecosport) bluetooth pairing.

    Hello Apple community!

I have an iPhone MORE 6s firmware iOS 9.2.1 running and a Ford Ecosport trend M/T (bought last March 2015).

I always pair my iPhone with audio system in my car (Ford SYNC) every time I jump in my car every day. I drive 4 hours per day and I'm fond of listening to music with my iPhone through the car radio in my car. But while playing music a few days ago my iPhone just disconnected my car bluetooth device. I tried to pair it several times, but it keeps disconnecting. I switched to the USB mode (I always connect my iPhone to my car for the end of charge and also to listen to music when I want to disable my iPhone bluetooth), my iPhone is connected, but all I hear is static, whenever I play music from my iPhone.

I tried to delete my audio system phone master reset Ford SYNC and bluetooth devices list and also reset my iPhone, but it still shows the same results. I would appreciate anyone's response on what I live now.

Thank you so much in advance!

PS: I already upgraded my iPhone iOS firmware to 9.2.1 before that happened.

    Kind regards

    Marc

  • Connectivity Bluetooth iPhone 7 with Ford SYNC fails

I use my iPhone 7 with my 2016 Ford Fusion with SYNC. The Bluetooth connection worked perfectly with my iPhone 6. Today, experienced significant connectivity issues 7 iPhone, including regular dropouts, abandon a connection completely and music just stop playing. Not a matter of cellular data as the songs were on the iPhone. Reset the network settings, turning bluetooth enabled and a fall/re-connecting to the car has not fixed the problem. No equipment or other things have changed except the switch for the new iPhone.

I don't expect that there is one 'solution' other than a software update or the return of this phone, but if it happened to someone else?

I have the same problem with a Fiesta ST of 2014, using an iphone 7 +.  I tried to return the phone.  The replacement has exactly the same issues.  I wish well for a software update to fix this.

If your cable is made of strange noises, maybe buy you a new one and try if you can make it work.

If your iPhone is made strange noises, this could be caused by damage to your iPhone. Do you remember an event that may have damaged your iPhone?

Try resetting your device. This will not erase your data stored on that device.

    • Press and hold the sleep/wake button
    • Press and hold the Home button
    • Press and hold both buttons until the display turns off and on again with the Apple logo on the subject.

Alternatively, you can go to settings - general - reset - Reset all settings

If that doesn't work, restore your device to factory settings. Please note that this will delete the data on your device.

Take a look this Apple Support article: use iTunes to restore the iPhone, iPad or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support.

  • iOS 9.3.2 breaks Google Mail

I just bought a new iPhone 6s x64gig phone.  Got it home and he had a ready to download iOS update.  A ran the upgrade and then tried to configure my email to business in the native email client from Apple.  It go as far as to try to authenticate my login user and then immediately jumps to the selection screen to choose an e-mail client.  I had this installed on my iPad 2 Air x64gig at some point, but it took off when I got the phone.  Then update to the iPad.  And now, it will not install Google Mail.  What is the solution?  Keep in mind, I am a technician in computer science with 36 years of experience and have read and done all the how - to of.  Looking for the real fix now!

Google app Mail and InBox app both work very well on my devices with iOS 9.3.2. What happens when you try to install it?

Or, you say, that you cannot sign into your Google account through settings > Mail, Contacts, calendar > add new account. I'm a bit confused by your use of the word "client" which usually refers to the application used to access an account specific (for example you can use the built in email application as a client to access your Gmail account). But, I wonder if you use it to mean 'account' in this case. Can clarify you? Have what troubleshooting steps you taken? If you have restarted? Do a forced restart? Restored from a return to the top? Restored like new?

  • Update iOS 9.2.1 broken car sync

Afree than the latest iOS update (9.2.1), my iPhone than plus 6 no longer works with my car. I have a Toyota Corolla S 2015 and until this latest iOS update, when I plugged into the USB port on the dashboard, I could navigate the menus, see album art, even jump ahead songs in a playlist and change the volume using the controls on the steering wheel. All the phone will do is cool.

Now it's broken. I contacted Toyota, they said, that there is no current updates of the software in the Toyota at the moment. To archive the owner online forums, there are two users who has a similar problem with their iPhones and their dependants $190 and $300 respectively dealer for updating the software.

My question is is there any way I can restore the latest iOS update? It's really irritating, I wish that apple offered some sort of mechanism for users to restore updates like this.

Toyota has a history of this with their in-car entertainment systems and iPhones. They have problems with some versions of Android as well.

    No, you cannot downgrade iOS.

  • Sansa Fuze and Ford Sync

I recently bought a Ford Focus and was happy to learn that it can interface with my rocket.  It all works, I experienced some problems.  When you leave the car if I don't physically disconnect the "rocket" by the USB port, it will make the "rocket" lock the offline message or a blank screen.  He'll keep hanging like that until what force you a shutdown by pressing the power switch for 10 seconds upward.

Everyone knows that and if so did you find workarounds?

It works fine if I stopped it manually.  Just unplug it to do this.

On the plus side, I figured out how to solve the problem.  Disable the auto detect for USB mode.  Once you set using the mode MTP problem disappears.  The player then turns off when the car is off and turns on when the car lights and save where you have stopped listening.  This is a great system bit, I enjoy to listen to my audio books so that I'm behind the wheel.

Thank you all for your messages.

  • IOS 10 & Ford does Sync 3 no Bluetooth Audio

    Hi all

I have updated to IOS 10 on my iPhone 6s more yesterday.  I tried to make calls when connected via Bluetooth with Ford Sync 3 (2016 F150).  I am not getting any audio.  I can finish the call from the sync screen.  In my view, that the call is connected.  Sirius radio continues to play and is not cut.

I tried deleting the Bluetooth device (forget) synchronization of the iPhone.  Then I deleted the profile of iPhone the Sync system.  I have re-paired the iPhone and the same questions persist.

It seems IOS 10 and 3 sync on the F150 don't work well.

    Any ideas would be appreciated.

The point on the issue.  I closed all open applications of force.  Then rebooted phone.  Went out to the truck and calls Bluetooth started working.  If all goes well, it stays that way.

  • Siri handsfree works intermittently after updating iOS 9.2. Anyone else having the same problem?

Siri handsfree works only intermittently after updating iOS 9.2. I have a Mustang from 2015 with my ford touch. Siri handsfree worked perfectly before the update. Now when I use it it disconnects sometimes. Anyone else having the same problem?

Yes, I have the same problem with my Ford Escape of 2013 using MFT version 3.8 (just installed).  Use IPhone with IOS 9.2 6.  I can call him only intermittently SIRI when I use the long pull on the switch.  Also, when I do it, SIRI goes my audio setting that I played (usually USB iPod) to BT audio.  I'm trying to see if the fix suggested elsewhere for the BT audio works but were unable to invoke SIRI to check.  Ford Sync experts were of great help and finally told me to go to the dealer.  I read somewhere after a 'google' search a person represents himself as a guy HE said it's a problem of IOS and Ford does not change (code) until we as customers.  That's all I know right now.

  • Suddenly cannot sync albums of additional Photos from Mac to iPhone!

    Hi and thanks for reading!

I use OS X 10.11.6 El Capitan on Macbook Pro with iTunes version 12.5.1 and just upgraded to iOS on iPhone 10.0.2 SE. There are 40 GB of storage available on the iPhone.

All my photos are stored on my Mac and I always synchronize the albums selected using iTunes. Until today, I had nine albums (about 2000 pictures) synced to my phone. Just upgraded yesterday to iOS 10 and... cannot sync any additional album for my iPhone!   Do not help disable iTunes, Photos or even the iPhone and sync again. New pics added today to the former synchronized albums synchronizes all right.

Is there a trick?  Or a problem of incompatibility between iOS 10 and iTunes 12.5.1?

    Good news!  Problem solved!

First of all, I noticed that on my iPhone, WeChat (a good Chinese software equivalent to Facebook x WhatsAp) saw my fine albums, while the pictures couldn't!

So weird, that I was convinced to try once more to bring my old file Photos Cache in my photo library, even if a new cache file is supposed to be created whenever iTunes syncs photos.

For some reason, the last time I tried it did not work, but this time he did: my old cache file was now in my photo library!  I don't know what I did differently.  In any case, I sync my photos once more with iTune then open the pictures on my iPhone, half hoping to find my old nine albums back... and here they were!  Even my two additional albums were there, with all the photos inside!

Problem solved, even though I still don't know what it was. Looking at other positions in the community in respect of 'Synchronization of Photos with iOS10', it seems that iOS10 there a problem that requires a sort of library discount at zero.  Thank you Leonie bear with me and try to reproduce the problem on your computer!  Information guide me to the solution. And I'm very happy that I can wait a few months before moving to the Sierra...
