• I downloaded iOS 9.3 on my iPad generation 4 but the night shift isn't here

  After downloading the latest version of the software update, iOS 9.3 on my 4th generation iPad today, the night shift option is not there under display and brightness.  In settings, it indicates the update is underway.  I turned it and then turn the thought that might make a difference, but it didn't.  I downloaded it on my iPhone which is a more recent model and it appears here.  My iPad is too old or it's - it something else?  I was really looking forward to the option of night shade.

  Are you sure that your iPad is an iPad Air?  More old model iPads (prior to iPad Air) can support the night shift.

  SO this is my first post

  This new functionality is good and only time will tell if it works with my sleep pattern. The only thing that bothers me is - you have activated of night shift, but when you hit that 20 percent mark where it prompts you to activate the ' mode low-energy "you click on it and you get blinded.   On my Mini iPad, I get the option to turn on the night shift from sunrise to the sunset or to have light with a precise timetable. On my iPhone 6, I only have the possibility to have a quarter of night turning at specific times. I would like to be able to turn it on from sunset to Sunrise the Sun.

  I'm not sure that the 'old' devices, but on my iPhone6s running iOS 9.3.1 I go to:

  Settings > display and brightness > night shift

  Planned and then type/from and select the sunset and the sunrise in the section PLANNING of AUTOMATISER.

  Night Shift reverse colors when turned on. I tried a full 'restore' in iTunes (no joy) and turning "Invert colors" on and outside accessibility (no joy, once again).

  My wife has the same exact phone and it works very well for her.  (Should I take it personally?)

  A full restore from backup or as New? If the backup, corruption can come back and your only option is to restore as nine (no joy at all). I try a restore like New, set up the necessary minimum to test, and then test the night shift. If ok you would have no choice but to continue setting up like new. If the problem still there, you can then restore backup and has the Apple Store evaluate it for hardware problems. It's no fun I know.

  Just updated my iPad to IOS 10.3 4.  There is no 'Night Shift' available on "display and brightness.  Also, I see no "Low Power Mode" under battery.  Any ideas on how to get the night shift?

  To my great disappointment, like many other users ipad 2,3,4, I discovered after I upgraded to iOS 9.3 today night shift is not available for my device. I already wrote my complaint to the comments of the Apple. Does anyone know an alternative for the night shift without the jail break?
