  I bought a WRT160N router yesterday and eagerly tried to connect my laptop to the internet (ADSL) modem using this router. As my ADSL modem is a router DHCP too, and I want to keep it like that, I have it plugged in ethernet cable form one of my ADSL modem/router, LAN ports in one of the LAN ports on the modem, Linksys have the Linksys operating as a bridge. However when I tried to specify an address of router static IP (192.168.1.254) in the basic parameters of configuration Linksys Panel, disabled the DHCP setting and saved, I could not connect to the router more using this new IP address - my browser tells me that the Web page doesn't seem to exist, but it cannot establish a connection with her. Then I have to reset the router in order to access configuration panels using the default address 192.168.1.1.   the problem is resolved, be it in a different way. I tried your trick to wait 30 seconds after the registration and the recycling of the modem, but this had no effect. Does anyone know which API can I gives the floor to get that information?   • Tried to connect the PC to another TV with cable HDMI listed above (successful, plug-and-play)
  • Tried to reset the TV to factory settings (reset successful, still no PC signal)
  • I tried power reset on the TV (unplugged for a few minutes, connected again, no still no PC signal)
  • Tried to reinstall graphics drivers of PC (Intel HD Graphics Driver for Windows 7/8/8.1 64 - bit, v15.28.20.64.3347, Intel, installation successful, website still no PC signal)
  • Tried to install the latest graphics drivers from the manufacturer's Web site (Intel high definition (HD), pilot chart, v9.17.10.2843, from the HP website, successful installation, still no PC signal)
  • Tried different resolutions video on the PC, exit in double...
  • Tried different boot sequence, with mixed results:
  • Turn on PC the sound on the TV: no signal.
  • Turn on TV that the sound on PC: I see the logo of the 8 on Windows with white turning points on the TV (double on the PC screen and before arriving at the Windows login screen TV turquoise rounds with the error 'no signal'.) So the HDMI works, but only for a short period of time during the boot sequence for Windows.
  • I tried restoring the system to a restore point not go a week ago (HDMI to TV works well all week), no chance. Still no TV signal, and the PC keyboard has stopped working too. That challenge.

  I tried several times to remove printer, uninstall the drivers, reboot, reset the printer to the factory, etc. without success.  I even went into the registry and deleted the printer reference as much as I could.

  Please note I know how to connect the wireless printer and did successfully to the router with IP 192.168.1.108.   The problem is that the installer will search for a printer on the network and detects the 8610, but it appears with the IP address 192.168.1.1, which, of course, fails to install correctly.

  Well, I gave up trying to connect wireless and connected the printer with an ethernet cable.    Re-installed software that went much smoother, but still showed printer with IP router when you try to add it.   I chose "other devices" and is manually entered IP ethernet.

  Everything works now, including scanning.

  I think that the new router (for satellite internet) blocking a port that is required to complete the driver installation.   I had to add a switch to have an additional ethernet port to connect the printer.

  It was NOT a good experience.   I had a lot of practice of deleting, downloading, installation, configuration of the HP printer again and again well, therefore perhaps not all a lost cause.

  In your case, I would first check the settings of the router.

  I have a new 6500.  When I connect the ethernet cable to my router and print the configuration of the network (set to auto) it shows the configuration of the link as "None".  Thinking it is maybe a bad router port, I introduced to my NAS port work.  I tried to install the drivers on my Vista64 and XP32 PC ethernet and neither detects the network printer.  The USB connection installs OK, but if I can't get the wired network connection to work, I'll have to return for another printer.  Help, please...
