IP address problem

Hello again,

Hello again,

Well, I could put everything up with linksys tech people but unfortunately I am not able to connect to the outside of my home monitoring system. I subscribed to TZO.COM and used their support troubleshooting to solve my problem, PortDetective, etc. and still no success. My cousin geek could not connect to my router or my camera. Starts seems based on its expertise, my ISP Embarq (dsl), now called Qwest is the problem. He said that the ability of tzo.com to update my IP address is not enough if my ISP has a permanent block on my IP address. If this is true, it will be an additional charge of $10 / month... is there another option for me?

Thank you

It won't change any settings on the router and it will continue the work... It's good to hear that your problem has been set now... Enjoy

    Hi girls & guys.

I have a slight problem, well a major problem. I have been using my e-mail address by satellite (tv providers) for those who may not be the same in their countries as I suppose you good people are from all worldwide its big cable. This TV provider is huge in the United Kingdom. Not only are they doing television, but they also make Internet access as well as telephone services at home that we chose to opt for a month later, when a huge bill came through and we use it only for calls that my supplier of laptop would cost more than calling. After receiving the first invoice we chose but kept the tv and internet.

I know you think that you don't need the above info but think back to these discussion forums, I saw people asking for answers more so I hope that there is no need for that if I gave enough details.

Since we had these services just like any other company offering them we got an e-mail address. I have published for use this email address since we signed. This goes back years and years like I said when the first iPhone came out, and then the App Store introduced.

A good 18 months ago we changed internet service providers - our region finally got fiber ultra high speed of downloading music from iTunes in about 30 seconds flat if less. Movies about 5 minutes. I would never like to look back.

I asked the supplier because I had changed my internet to another provider at the time good old Richard Branson was the only one to do these speeds for a higher price, but not all areas, until a supplier came out the woodwork that he offered at a reduced price and he was soon in my area.

Immediately, I got on the phone with my previous provider of broadband and asked them if it was the end of my e-mail address. They assured me that as long as I kept their television services that I would be safe.

    Heres where my troubles begin.

I was in bed sick. I woke up. Like most of the people when he is sick in bed I decided to check my email. I have a few email addresses. Work, Spam - these types of companies who send about 5 emails per day, but you are interested in their products. Emails that have as much security as the texts on your phone.

Yes, I'm much a Virgin who likes things just right. Everything must be organized... I wish I thought of that when choosing my MAIN e-mail for my multiple iOS devices. That there are 6 in total in the House Inc. my new iPod touch of girls and one released beforehand and his iPad mini. She can't bear to get rid of its updated iPod touch and play constantly with my iPad pro. We do a tradition mother & daughter to watch the new Apple on Apple TV events. My husband can not seen related within a new phone or iPad. I myself change phones whenever they go out but tend to not buy the new iPads exuding the iPad pro masterpiece. I used the iPad 2 for many years, mainly for playback. When I heard of the watch and the new Apple TV I have. They are the way of the technology. so I paid a small fortune to my horror of husbands. :-)

    Hi girls & guys.

I know you think you probably don't have much info, but looking at these discussion forums, I noticed people ask more questions so I hope that there is no need for that if I gave enough details and you kind folks can help me.

After all I am deeply upset that not only did I will be affected but my 9 year old daughter who is the grumpy genius for her age and she is known for this reason and his school even knows its potential and the Apple cult. So many things so she could spend hours in the store and really wants to take kids coding courses and even other classes that apple has to offer. She's on my icloud family to very difficult to buy for Christmas instead asks apple in that train to be only cases to cables. The kid is obsessed and goes as far to have wars with his father on android that it initiates. Steve jobs is a God for her and will buy magazines for Apple technicians. I guess it's my fault for letting his play kids apps as a child, so she threw his toys and to achieve peace, I bought his first iPod touch

I have a slight problem, well a major problem. I have been using my e-mail address of satellite (tv providers) they also make phone broadband and at home as a reduced rate if you have all three. Then after searching this bundle was the cheapest option.

Since we had these services just like any other company offering them we got an e-mail address. I continued to use this email address when we signed. This goes back years and years like I said when the first iPhone came out, and then the App Store introduced.

Previosly that while at the time where Bebo was the major social media of the era that preceded the iPhone hacked my msn email well. After having contacted them, they told me there was nothing to do.

A good 18 months ago we changed internet service providers - our region finally got fiber ultra high speed of downloading music from iTunes in about 30 seconds flat if less. Movies about 5 minutes. I would never like to look back.

    NOW TO THE REAL PROBLEM

In hindsight I should have subscribed to a secure e-mail. Later, I received an e-mail from my TV provider that Yahoo was now the main source of the email. I could connect via yahoo and my address of providere tv.

Even though I had a very strong password I changed every few months containing symbols as letters and numbers, it seems that Yahoo is not at all certain and they hacked as I discovered thanks to a search when my iPhone asked me to put my password. Later, I went on my tv providers email and my password is not valid. So I tried the same yahoo. Then, I managed to change my password by an alternative email. That seemed to do the trick...

Until my partner received a strange e-mail telling him he could make thousands online. Since this is my email he opened. It contains no content malious, but he went to meet ask me "what you send me" and saw that the reply address was completely different.

On hearing this I wrote then a password that I don't even remember. I do not store on my phone. I never told anyone and I put it in my safe should I need because it was a welcome e-mail and not necessary for work and does not have all the notes beside her.

Since the space of 4 months, I had to change twice. WHY THESE PIRATES CAN GET IN.

Before these events August 2015, I received an e-mail from Apple telling me that my icloud had used a device that was not recognized and ignore if it wasn't me. That day, I was sick in bed at 9.04 and my partner was at work that does not allow you to access things on a computer.  If necessary access I would just access it through the address main iCloud I have used twice. Even my iCloud email has not been given. I hardly use it. Although I can change that because my old e-mail address is a responsibility.

I took immediate action on my Apple ID. I changed my security questions and the password. Asked for a check of the 2 step. Change my phone number because those people might find a way to get my number. I made sure my PIN code is sent via my new number or the devices that I use.

IT WORKED a TREAT - I'm extremely lucky that they never blocked my access to my Apple ID after research they could do this.

I'm now very careful to change my password. I went as far as contacting the apple team on my ID. They told me I had done the right thing and could see that I changed the reg passwords. It was a little bit of time before I start to have problems of electronic mail at least 3 weeks before.

    WHAT CAN I DO

As I have explained above my TV provider changed their accounts with yahoo, but forever be able to connect via the address through my tv provider and my ex provider broadband. It is not without danger. This time the password changed again. However, I stupidly changed the security issue and could not change. It seems that I'm locked unless I have a phone number. It will be hard to do since I am with their services.

I think they can ask me to change my email address but I still have contacts there and so on. So that they could keep the account open just for this reason.

THE FIRST IPHONE WAS RELEASED IN 2007

Can you imagine losing all your data that you have spent thousands on since then all be wiped as I guess I would need to put in place a new ID to a protected e-mail address as security iPhone that has a verification of the 2 step like Google owes much to my relief.

My daughter would lose all his tricks for? It does not download everything I do. It would still show on the cloud if I got a new ID and put it in the family? I would then be able to delete my original account and continue with my new name?

I know some time ago very very long before Apple had iPhones and others that my friend found his music, but it was something unique. This will come back some time ago. Only, she was extremely on the moon as they never do this, but she was an avid collector of music and crying. I've see it ask and don't know even it was not what a friend. It was well before iCloud. They said that they would do it.

Surely, there must be a way to turn it. Like all transactions that I bought through my card number and even kept receipts of all I bought the iPhone, etc. and be able to put my new ID by family in icloud. Surely other people emails were hacked. I still find a rude apple employee. Even the community of support here is really nice. Regardless of the question.

I'm extremely sorry for the long post. I thought that if I developed a little bit more to show what I did. Maybe someone can help me in my perdicument.

    Thank you

    Sam

  • address problem complete

I don't know if I'm looking at the right place, but maybe someone can help with information.

Previous Verizon DSL, now Frontier DSL for about 2 months (they bought Verizon).

Until this morning, by entering the url of all that was needed was enough information (ie: "Amazon" for amazon.com.) ("drudge" for drudgereport.com, etc.) then FF would complement the address and ".com", ".net", etc., and then I went to the desired location.

However, this do when used, rather than fill in the address and arrive at my destination, I would be redirected to a "Yahoo search assist border" page where I could then click on the result and get on the site, I desired. Only by typing the entire URL could bypass the redirect.

I checked to see if my "true/false" for FF have been in operation required and they were. Scan virus Ran and came clean so contacted technical support online frontier, since Yahoo is the partner of their research and I continued to meet at the border home page.

After pulling up from my account, the rep online (they have only one, only ONE, for the entire online tech support staff) told me that he has never heard of just by typing in keywords for addresses and that he STILL had to enter in all of the thing.

    O.o

Then, he suggested I do a Google search for my problem.

    o.O

Zero I cancelled the session online and called to the 24/7 phone support. At the time where my account information were fired upward with the phone rep, that the problem has disappeared as if by magic.

    O.O

So my questions. Was it a coincident temporary bug with FF (I'm a beta tester crash test dummy), a bug not taken with my virus/malware scams or... Path of the border to distract me from Yahoo to generate advertising revenue.

The calendar shows the third option, it's the first and only time this has happened since the online in 2003, but before we get IN. with Frontier, I felt I needed more information.

    Thanks in advance!

I couldn't find specific information on the border, but many ISPS have begun to use a 'area of assistance Service' for stealing web addresses which do not solve exactly as you typed them. You should ask them how you can unsubscribe from this service.

  • network security IP address problem

I have a home secure wireless network, lately I get an error message that my IP address has been used by another computer on my network even when my other computer is not in use, it seems as if someone logging on my network and sharing my IP without knowing me is there any software for network access Protection that would allow me to monitor my network also how do you secure my IP address I use a vista software and my firewall is always turned on.  Essentials windows also display the State of my computer is protected.

I see that sometimes on my wireless network.  I think it unlikely that someone breaks in your network.  It is more likely that your wireless router is getting confused.

If this happens again, restart your router by unplugging the power supply for a few seconds, then in him plugging wireless.  This should solve the problem.  You can see the list of the router DHCP clients to see what computers are connected. Owner, Boulder computer Maven

  • Leave the connection due to release/renew IP address problem

Hi there - I have an Inspiron 23 model 5348, connected to a router of the BT Home Hub 5 running Windows 8.1. Whenever I wake the computer from sleep mode and often even to start it upward, that I have no internet connection. I have release/renew the IP address, and the connection is re-established for a period of time.

This happens on my inspiron wired or wireless connected. I updated the router, changed the wires, reinstalled the drivers for network devices, changed the term of the lease on the router for 21 days and used a static IP address, bit, nothing seems to work.

It only occurs on the Inspiron. None of my other devices give up their connection.

Any ideas what is the cause?

  • UCS mac address problem

    Hi all

    simple question...

You may know if it is a bug of mac address learning with version 1.4.1?

I have go a blade with a mix of palo and other cards, some vnic are pinned to link rising with trunk allowed vlan 501 on both sides. On the blades of the UCS, i've got ESX and ESXi. Service console is labelled VLAN 501 (depending on the configuration of the trunk switch UCS and uplink). Some blade had obtained these interface pinned on the UCS6100 A and another on B (with failover). The fact is that if I ping from outside UCS UCS (ESX) inside no learning of mac is performed on all infrastructure.

I don't know problem is the UCS because if I erase the mac table UCS, nothing works... and all the works if I start doing a ping of the UCS. I also tried to put the switch uplink static mac (ESX service console) but was not helpful.

    I hope this isn't a 1.4.1 bug...

    TNX and tnx for help

    Dan

Y at - it you using uplink groups pine or have a network of layer 2 disjoint by chance?

Questions like these are ususally PIN-related groups / Disjoint L2 using the wrong link DR port for traffic entering.  When the traffic is generated from within the outgoing UCS, the MAC table is updated on the upstream switch which allows traffic to flow, until he gets older.

If one of them is the case I suggest take you a look at the videos of Brad name video #6:

Windows 7 pc every time that I turn on pc, it does not connect to internet message is * dosent internet have a valid ip address * convenience store suits but it is a nusance my IP provider it has reset several times but nothing helped someone help? Thank you very much.

It looks like you can have problems on the individual computer.  You can see this error message - it looks like it is not quoted verbatim - but your interpretation of the error...?  I was expecting something more along the lines, " is not a valid IP address configuration.

You connect to the wired LAN or wireless?

What I suggest, it is first using this fixit:
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/299357

Download, install, execute, update and perform analyses complete system with the two following applications:

Remove anything they find. Reboot when necessary. (You can uninstall one or both when finished.)

Search online with eSet Online Scanner. Delete everything is found.

    Turn it back on.

  • the same IP address problem

I use the (par 4) wireless network and my laptop running Window 7 Ultimate and open with mozilla firefox.
I see this message ["Windows has detected an IP address conflict" another computer on the network has the same IP address as this computer.] Contact your network administrator for help resloving this issue. More details are available in the Windows system event log. ] I lost my access to the internet, after him.
    How to solve this problem.

I would recycle the power on your router. (turn off for 20 seconds then turn it back on).

What can happen, is if a computer on your network is asleep when the router is reissuing the IP addresses.

It can reassign one of sleep to a computer network and when wakes up this computer, it will have the same address as another on the network.

You can also try opening a command prompt and type

    ipconfig / renew

to see if he will get another address.

  • TMS network address problem

What determines the "Network address" field below?

The reason why I ask is that we have servers of TMS (4), all the different functions of the service.  We have also (4) VCS-controls, one recorded for each MSDS to commissioning.  All VCS - Cs are configured exactly the same thing, however (2) the list of VCS - Cs the IP in the field above and (2) list the domain (IP) FULL name in the field above.

In TMS, on the tab "Connection" for each VCS. they all have the domain name COMPLETE for the host name and tracking is set on 'Hostname '.  We tried the VCS' are of the purge and re - add in different methods, they still produce the same value for this field.

This area seems to control the 'Web' in TMS icon, at the top right you can click on the globe to access the VCS - C.  It will take me to an IP or domain FULL name according to the VCS.

    Thank you

    Justin

Well, it could be a shot in the dark, but for a value of 1. Can you check the network settings of the TMS and see if the 'DNS override' is set to 'YES '? If set to Yes value it NO, and see if that fixes the problem.

  • RHEL 5 P2V converter server to support static IP address problem

    Hello!

I am doing an internship where I set up a VMware ESXi 5.1 environment, and I have to P2V a couple of servers RHEL (5 and 6).

So now I'm looking for how the VMware vCenter Converter Standalone Client 5.0.1. I've done a few P2V, successfully!

But it seems that whenever I want to do a P2V, I have to use a different static IP address by using the converter server because otherwise the converter stops at 1% and tries to connect using the converter server.

What I don't understand, is that I'm only a P2V both, and so the IP addresses I use are reserved and are not of any other machine.

Does anyone know what is the problem? Because if I have to make a couple more P2V, I'm out of IP addresses I use...

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello

We were able to identify the problem and it is not in the converter itself, but rather related to the physical infrastructure. The problem is in the ARP cache on the bridge of the target network. After the first conversion, he has cached an ARP entry for the IP address for assistance. When you start the second conversion, the new virtual machine that is created has a new network card with a new MAC address, but the entry door is not aware of this change when Converter Server tries to connect to the help, the gateway sends IP packets to the wrong MAC address and finally they are deleted. When the cache ARP on the bridge which expires - that the problem be resolved automatically (in our environment by default, it is 15 minutes, but it depends on the material specifc and configuration).

A possible workaround is to generate network traffic coming from within the VM assistance program (e.g. a ping to the IP address of default gateway) which generate an ARP traffic and update the gateway ARP cache. Instructions how to connect using VM are available at http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?cmd=displayKC&externalId=1036746. Once you sign in, you can test anything (same IP invalid target does the job) and the conversion should proceed immediately.

I've recently updated E4200 firmware to version 1.0.02 (since version 1.0.01 which was working fine). Upgrade was closed successfully, but the router continues to renew the IP (Automatic Configuration - DHCP).

I use E4200 with FiOS Actiontec modem (configured as a bridge).
Test internet connection by replacing the new router to my old and everything works fine as usual (obtaining an IP address works as usual).

    My questions:

-How to configure E4200 (firmware 1.0.02) to begin to renew the IP address again?

-Is it possible to downgrade the firmware of the router to the old version 1.0.01?
Where to download the old firmware?

    Solved!
Has been demoted successfully to worm. 1.0.01.

Thanks for link to hiptechboy to the old firmware
