iPad slide pro over/split screen unresponsive

Good morning guys,

I upgraded my iPad my ipad air pro this week. I have restored my back upwards on iTunes (which took all night, number one problem).

Second, my split screen/slide will NOT work. On the few occasions that I got to work, he was an absolute fluke. I use the compatible apps etc (safari/iMessage/email/calendar).

I have a glass screen protector, but I know that's not the problem because it worked very well before going on and the screen is very sensitive even with the screen protector on.

My (apple geek extradornaire) husband is bewildered. We rebooted, factory reset everything. I even made the painful process of re-factory set and install my apps one by one, in the case where my backup was corrupted (because he took a night or more to install).

Third (and last at least I hope) lies in the fact that my iPad does not connect to our cast chrome. My iPhone and iPad Air had no problem, but this stubborn thing just doesn't work.

This may seem trivial, but $1500aud for something that does not work is really starting to annoy me. If anyone has had this problem and how the * did you solve it without having to visit apple?

Split screen and drag must be programmed in apps.

These features are not automatically built into iOS 9.

Most currently updated apps use the function drag on screen, but there are not too many applications that use the full split screen function.

In addition, Split Screen, I think, only works if the iPad is in landscape mode, only.

Slide in the works in portrait mode and landscape.

    There is no split screen or slide on anything whatsoever on the iPad models 2, 3, or 4.

    Drag functions is only on iPad Air and later versions.

    Split screen is only on iPad Pro, 2 Air iPad & iPad Mini 4.

    I want to display several video tracks and where appropriate, to have them not cropped - for example a 4-way quad screen comes from the 4 video channels scaled down by 50% each.

    I know not how to do this on a base without plugin PPCS6 level - you just reduce each clip and return to the position.

    But I want something more sophisticated like Autosplit of FXFactory. I want something to make it easier to have borders, corners rounded, slide-ins, etc. without having to create other designs in photoshop and add that several effects and hand make keyframing...

    Frankly I don't want to think too hard than PP makes me do. I am quite willing to pay a little money for a plugin to make my job easier.

    Split view is not a feature on iPhones.  You will need to have an iPad, iPad, iPad 2 Air or Pro mini 4 to use mode split on an iOS device.

    Use in split view

    With split view, you can open and run both applications at the same time. Open an application, then press or drag the app to start separator to use both applications. Slide down from the top of the screen to change the application on the right. If you want to close one of the applications, drag the divider on the application you want to close.

    You can use mode split with multiple applications, such as Safari, Notes, Photos, calendar and more. Split view is not available with all applications.

    You can use split with iPad Pro, mini iPad or iPad 2 Air 4.

    If this is the case, try to quit all applications and do a reset.
