iPad, storage

I have a 2 32 GB iPad running iOS 9.2. For the past few weeks I have my store available has reduced greatsly and I get the message "storage is full. I have deleted a large number of applications that I did not use, but shows always only 196 MB and memory used as 26.7 GB of available storage. In fact, I added the amount of space used by each application and it's only for a total of up to 6,5 GB! Would be very grateful for help in resolving this issue because I'm unable to download anything (I can still update the iOS version).

In addition, the wi - fi signal received by the iPad is very week, although my iPhone or my laptop will receive greater power of the signal in the same area. And my iPad has a tendency to "freeze" sometimes. I think that these two problems can be linked to the issue of storage.

How music, movies, photos, books electronic or eMagazines do you have on your iPad 2?

Something is using all your storage space.

In the application settings, under the General settings panel, in the right window, tap the storage and Panel use iCloud.

Under the category superior storage, tap on the option of storage management.

This will take a little time that iOS generates a list of all the applications that your iPad has installed on it and what these applications take upwards for storage on your iPad.

  • iPad storage being quickly exhausted Air

When I did a recent sync between my iPad and iTunes, it showed that since the upgrade to 9.3.2 somewhere in the region of 60 GB had been exhausted and is displayed under 'Documents and data.  I don't have any idea what used this because only the last time I checked, there were 70 GB of free and I don't have anything installed or downloaded applications since. Then in the morning, I was not able to load the Mail app, whenever I went in there, he remained on the screen for 3-4 seconds then returned to the home screen. Because of the recent storage problem, I checked what he said in settings > general > storage & use iCloud and it showed there were 15 GB free.  I had no time to pursue the inquiry so I turned off.

When I got home, there was a message on the screen saying that I was almost out of storage, so I checked again and now it says I have 0 bytes!

None of the applications display a generally large amount of storage against them (the largest is 9.1 GB, then 7.5 GB, then 3.1 GB, 2.5 GB, 1.2 GB then gradually more small 678 MB up to 1.1 Mb).  So I can't understand where all the space suddenly disappeared. How can I trace that has used space?

With the symptoms you describe the system (or application) is damaged and you will need to do a restore of the system to be solved. First check these articles for suggestions. If of any help (and that's what I suspect) then do the system restore:

The system restore. First save your device via iTunes. Also import your photos on your computer and copy all the important data. Reconstruction of the support first test and test. If this does not help, you may need to restore as a new and reconfigure from scratch as the backup may be damaged. It is important to have your photos and your saved data separately from the backup. I have a fairly new 128 GB iPad Pro, who seems to be filling the storage too fast. • Google Drive, taking up the iPad storage

I installed the Google Drive app on my iPad and have noticed she was taking ~ 5 GB of storage iPads.  I thought that all files stored in Google Drive were stored in the cloud.  Does anyone know why Google Drive takes over this storage?

    Thank you.

They are stored in the cloud, but they are local mirror, so that they take up space locally. You can use Dropbox instead, but DO NOT create a local folder to synchronize.

  • Can I use my iCloud for my ipad storage

I get a message that says that I don't have enough storage on my iPad to download an app, but I have a lot of storage on iCloud how to use that.

storage iCloud is for your backups, to be able to download an application (or other), you need space on the real iPad (historically, you need usually about twice by an application size to be able to download and install it).

Your free space currently on the iPad's show in settings > General > about > available and the amount of space takes up every app on your iPad in settings > General > storage & use iCloud > manage storage (under the title of 'storage', no to iCloud)

  • Recovery of storage on iPad Touch

I'm trying to figure out where all my storage space is. My iPad Touch has a capacity of 12.5 GB, but it appears that I have only 486 MB of available space. When I go to the GENERAL > USE of STORAGE AND ICLOUD > STORAGE MANAGEMENT and add up all the apple listed, it shows that I am using only 4.9 GB of storage. I'm also 39 GB in iCloud. The backup to iCloud comes to 1.8 GB. I also deleted about 3 GB of games I bought. Any suggestions on research at the 7 GB that I'd still have at my disposal?

Connect your iPad to iTunes on your computer. that shows the page summary in terms of storage? If the other category is large untipically, I recommend backup restore.

If this does not help, you may need to restore your iPhone.

BTW, to check what is using to the top of your iPad storage space, go to settings > general > storage & use iCloud > storage > memory management.

  • How to manage the parameters of storage for my iPad?

I get an error message that my iPad storage is almost full; Yet, I still have 177GB available in iCloudl

    What should do?

    Thank you, Kay

iCloud-storage is not the physical storage that is ACTUALLY on your iDevice.

If your iPad is almost full, if you have something important that you want to keep on the device, you must back up these data with iTunes on a computer, or the value up/backup these data iCloud or some other "cloud" off site server storage service or something like DropBox.

OR buy a local, mobile, storage devices as WiFi enabled portable hard drives for mobile devices or active Wifi USB flash drives store your iPad data locally.

Then you can selectively decide what you need to delete out of your iPad to gain, to free up space for data storage.

    Good luck!

  • storage of iPad in ios 9.2 issues

After that I updated my mini iPad 2 to the latest version of iOS, which is 9.2, I had a problem in my storage. I have a 16 GB of storage, but the capacity indicated in my iPad is just 11.9 (max). How can I fix?

A GBs 16 iPad storage model, in reality, has only about 13 GB of actual storage after formatting and installing iOS, as well as all preinstalled applications that Apple includes with an installation of iOS.

If you installed or added more new applications, as well as to add new data, it continues to reduce the amount of internal free space on an iDevice.

The recent installation of the updated iOS 9.2, is probably an update of data dimensions larger than the previous iOS installed on your iPad.

So, you really DO NOT HAVE ALL PROBLEMS of STORAGE.

Your amount of free data space, that your iPad and iOS left reports, to date, looks, about the right amount, it should be.

  • message comes up saying storage is full. The capacity is 13.5 GB. I bought storage monthly plan 50GB (icloud) message still says ipad is full. Why?  UD) I bought the storage

I have a version 7.1.2 IPAD2.  The capacity is 13.5 GB. Message comes up saying storage is almost full. I bought the extra 50 GB storage for this (icloud) plan monthly - in settings according to usage.  45 GB is always available. Why message rises who always says "complete storage '.

You have purchased storage iCloud.  This is used to store things like backups and if necessary documents and data to share with other Apple devices.

Your iPad storage is full.  This has absolutely nothing to do with your iCloud-storage space.  You can not buy additional storage for your iPad.  When you run low on storage of the iPad, you have two options:

    • Managing the storage of iPad with settings > General > storage & use iCloud > manage storage.  Remove items from your iPad you need is no longer.
    • Sell your iPad and buy a replacement with more storage.
  • iPad complete storage, lost drawing

Help! I did a drawing in Adobe Draw! and when it was over I got a pop up on my iPad storage being full, then I LOST it! Shouldn't it be saved on creative cloud? Is it possible to get it back!

    Christina,

If you were on a wi - fi connection, there is a chance that the project will have had time to synchronize with the creative cloud. Connect to http://assets.adobe.com ("draw" My Active - Mobile Creations) - and see if he's there.

    Let me know.
