  Double check the app folder or home screen.

  Cannot delete the built-in app, so go to settings - general - reset - Reset available to the home screen.

  To use your iPhone 5 with iOS 10 with your Mac, you must first Download iTunes 12.5.1 which requires Mac OS X 10.9.5 Mavericks or later to install.

  Thank you for using communities of Apple Support. Looks like your Contacts are not being very cooperative since you have restored your iPhone iOS 10 6. I know that I have not memorized a phone number in ages and would need this support as soon as possible. I'll be happy to help you.

  It seems that you use iCloud to synchronize contacts between devices. On your iPhone, go to settings > iCloud. Disable the Contacts, wait 5 seconds, then turn it back on and check your Messages and Contacts.  I have a link below if you are still having problems:

  My iOS 8.4 iPad3 crashed, so I installed iOS9.3 and restored from my backup in iTunes.

  I had all this work, however "iTunes and App Store" are absent from the iPad settings.

  I know it's supposed to be shown just below "iCloud", but it is not at all.

  I have the App Store icon, and I am able to sign the entry/exit of the app, but I'm unable to set the automatic download option that is usually seen go in the settings.

  Check your Restrictions to see if it has been disabled, settings > general > Restrictions > iTunes Store.

  Jeff, thank you very much for answering. I'm no good in things technical and is seriously frustrated with this thing struck dead. I managed to get a really nice guy on the line of Telfort and he sends me a new SIM card. Looks like the one I received was not working right. I have to deal with Adobe Reader anymore because I just got the manual on my Nook (eReader from Barnes & Noble) for only $2.99. I'll be able to see when the new SIM card is delivered and should be able to figure it out from there. Once again, thank you for your response.

  Only the carrier, that the device is locked can authorize an unlock of the device. You will need to contact them to see if they provide unlocking services and if you are eligible. If you, then follow the directions. If this isn't the case, you will need to wait until you do.
