  I work with Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 and I installed updates. This is my first time posting and I only use CS6 for a few months so I'm still a beginner. That being said, here's my dilemma: now half video missing one superior project I worked on yesterday without any problem. I didn't have a problem before and it's the first time I'll have to deal with that. For some reason, the problem is only occurring when I use of files larger than 1 GB. When I switch to a low quality video file which is 160 MB, for example, I don't have the problem of lack the upper half of the video. I also tried export to see if the problem is corrected during the export process, but it will also be released lack the upper half of the video.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

  We had exactly the same problem in our software.  We have reduced to updates of windows under MS technology MS13-057.  Specifically, on kb2834904 XP and windows 7 kb2803821.

  For us, it happens when the decoding of WMV9 files.  Not all uses of decoding WMV are affected, but I have confirmed that when linking the WMV decode DLL to a sample for RGB32 video grabber, executives are black on top, so that points directly to the internal data of the dll to decode WMV decoding.

  You can uninstall these windows updates to fix your problem.  I hope that Adobe can join Microsoft to fix this properly as soon as possible.

  When you run a VI as a top-level, standalone VI you usually have a User Interface that is often managed by a Structure of the event.  When running as a Subvi, the cover cannot be opened (which makes the structure of the event does not respond) or certain features of the UI (for example Stop) may have a different behavior. Also the file which are derived from path of the VI paths may differ.

  I just wanted to bring this to the attention of all in case someone else runs into the issue. My player activated 10 and Acrobat 10 Core API plugins are IE 9 originally crashing. The client accesses a web page that contains links to pdf documents. They click on the links and the pdf file is opened in a new tab in I.E. After reading the document, they click the X on the tab. As soon as the tab is closed, that is, crashes.

  I have reproduced this issue and concluded that the cause is the replacement of AVDocClose. Using a base with no logic plugin which replaces AVDocClose causes a crash.

  I'll try to get around this by using the event to AVDocDidClose instead of AVDocClose.

  The code is risky, because it assumes that the file is the default file system. Maybe this isn't the case in recent versions.
