• How can I remove photos from the iPhone but save on iCloud/desktop mac?

  I have an iPhone 6 and I'm constantly short of room because of my photos.  When I go to delete a picture from my pictures it says "this photo will be deleted from iCloud photo library on all your devices" and I have NO IDEA how to disable this dang thing.  So when I delete a photo that it clears too my computer then I constantly tries to free up space on my phone in other respects.

  I wish I could take a picture, saved it on my computer and iCloud and then remove it from my phone without losing.  Any ideas?  Thank you!

  You can go to settings > Photos & camera on your phone and do the following:

  1. turn off iCloud photo library

  2 turn on my photo stream

  Then on your Mac, you can open pictures and under preferences, perform the following steps:

  1. on the general tab, make sure that "Copy items to the photo library" is checked

  2. by virtue of iCloud, make sure 'My Photo Stream' is checked (you can also have shared Photo also controlled flow)

  This should cause all photos of photo stream to be shared between devices as well as to import into your photo library.

  Hi all! I use an iPhone 6 with the updated iOS (10.0.1 for now). Since iOS 9.3.4, I noticed a lack of reliability of the battery of my iPhone.

  I can't get my iPhone to save on icloud at all. Whenever I ask him to back up manually it expires and cannot complete the operation, it gives me an error code or anything like that.   If you are unable to make a return to the top, try to connect on iCloud (settings > iCloud (scroll down) > Sign Out (you will need to enter your password at this point), restart the device and sign in iCloud to settings > iCloud.)

  The next thing to try would be to restore your network settings. (Settings > general > reset > reset network settings)

  Reset your network settings will erase your cell phones and wireless network settings, including saved networks, passwords for wifi and VPN settings, that you can use. It will affect to the Internet but will not be an impact on telephone services because these settings are automatically configured by your carrier. It may take a few moments to enter again all your network settings, but it shouldn't cause you any major problems. If you are comfortable re - enter your network settings, you can try this step earlier in the troubleshooting procedure, i.e. after the forced shutdown suggested above.

  If this does not help, try to disable some elements for the back upward in a model to try to establish if your problem is caused by specific data on your device. You can do with settings > iCloud > storage > storage management > backup > appliance > Back Up Options.

  If you are still not able to perform a backup from iCloud, you can try to restore your phone which you should do by making an iTunes backup via your computer and restore from that.

  Be able to go back to the cloud can be very useful, especially if you have access to a computer or rarely have access to one, however unless you need specifically to use iCloud to go back, you'll find a backup on iTunes much more convenient and possibly more reliable. However if you save up to iTunes be sure to encrypt the back upward if you want to keep your data on health and passwords etc.

  I just plugged my iPhone to save some new pictures and Photos opens on the start screen (I changed nothing, although I'm not sure these latest app store system updates so pictures has been updated).

  I searched here and online answers but not come up with something, so I'll try this.

  In any case, I have a huge library of photos that migrated fine when pictures was released, but all suddenly the app seems to want to do it again. I let it run for hours, and never, he manages to spend 'Get Started' and shows me my library / images.
