iPhone 6 seconds used to sync with MacBook

Just bought an iPhone 6s and everything Sync except itunes. I get the following message "" Sharon iPod touch"iPhone cannot be used because it requires a newer version of iTunes. Go to www.itunes.com to download the latest version of iTunes. "  My iTunes is up to date. My MacBook (10.7.5) could not take the latest version of the OS from Apple, because he is 7 years old now, but my iPod touch, I bought in 2013 and that works very well with this MacBook.  How can I fix it?  Thank you.

iOS9 on a mobile device requires iTunes 12.3 or higher, which in turn requires a computer running OSX 10.8.5 or higher.  Update of the system only checks the updates for the current version of the system you run, but that itself can be updated.  It may or may not be possible to upgrade your computer to the system requirements.  If you are still really running that the G5 in your profile there is no way that you can upgrade to iTunes 12.3 If you have an Intel Mac:

You can either buy a download for Apple OSX 10.8 Mountain Lion code online, or you can try to install the free El Capitan OSX 10.11.  El Capitan can run slower on older machines and require the additional purchase of RAM.  Making a big jump in versions of system is also more likely to affect the old software.

At el capitan Snow Leopard, it will make my macbook is slow?  - https://discussions.apple.com/thread/7412959

Yes - you can use a cloud like iCloud service or OneDrive who will be the reflection of your files - in other words - iCloud exists as folder on your devices as well as on the Apple servers. For files that work you on the MBP are synced with the Apple servers and also update on your iMac, when both machines are on and connected to the network - oh-you don't have to be connected to the same network - as long as the two devices are connected to the internet - the update will happen

  • I have phone sync with macbook air

I want to remove photos from my i-phone, without deleting my MacBook air.   Is this possible?     At the present time, when I delete a photo from my phone, it deletes my macbook air.   Anyway around this?

    Thank you

You synchronize using iCloud? iCloud is a synchronization system, not an external 'hard drive '. If you remove them on your device, they will remove icloud. To increase the available space, go settings/iCloud/Photos and select optimize iPhone/iPad storage. That will reduce the space required by 90% when it is fully effective.

If you don't use icloud, how you sync the computer and the phone?

  • How to (partially) sync with macbook air iMac

I have a 27 Imac at home and a macbook air for on the road. I would like to sync (automatically), live cable?

Connect to your local network. Enable both file sharing in sharing preferences. You can transfer data between the two using Drag and Drop or file third-party synchronization utility such as SyncTwoFolders. Or you can configure a DropBox account. Keep all common files stored in your DropBox account. Both computers then running DropBox and can transfer to and from the current folder. DropBox offers an initial free 2 GB of storage. If you need more, then you must pay for it up to 1 TB.

  • What is the difference between the iCloud, which I used on my two mac computers and that I have now with the 6splus of the iPhone? Never had a problem with the storage until I bought the iPhone (former android user).

I've been using a mac mini to work (my church) and recently I bought a macbook. The iCloud is my favorite piece of this puzzle so I thought I would be nice to add an iPhone - now I use constantly questions with storage on my iPhone. So why now I have an iPhone that is changing my storage capacity?

It is not clear to me if you have a problem of storage on your iPhone or in iCloud. You can go to settings > general > storage & use of iCloud. Note that there are then 2 sections on this screen - storage (which is on your phone) and iCloud. Each section has a storage management where you can see more details.

If the problem is the iCloud storage, the following may be useful: manage your iCloud - Apple Support storage space

  • Notes on Mac, do not sync with icloud

Very well.  I followed all of the suggestions.  Notes deleted, signed icloud on iphone, ipad and mac.  signed on all devices.  Checked to make sure that I use the same name on all devices.  Been working on it and Google search for answers about a week now?    When I write a note on my Mac Notes, they do not and does not display on Icloud.com 'notes' and vice versa, when I write a note on Icloud.com "note" that they do not appear on my Mac notes?

I use 10.10.5 on Mac OS and OS 9.3.2 on Iphone?

You may have upgraded to the new features of Notes on the iPhone. If you did, they used to sync with a Mac that has not been upgraded to El Capitan. See the following topics:

  • 6 IPhone will not sync with my ITunes MacBook

My IPhone 6 does not sync with my Macbook. When I plug it into the laptop, he said: "the iPhone"iPhone"cannot be used because it requires a newer version of iTunes. Go to www.itunes.com to download the latest version of iTunes. "

I already downloaded the latest version to my laptop. Any suggestions?

The problem is that the version of your OS X may be too old to support the latest version of iTunes.

Currently the latest version of iTunes is 12.3.3.  iTunes 12.3.X is necessary for the iOS interface 9.  But iTunes 12.3.X requires OS X 10.8.5 or later version.
