  Sorry, but even if your phone was submerged for a time, moisture, it took will lead to corrosion and sooner or later the phone will stop working. Water damage can be repaired, you will need to get the phone replaced.

Pre-order the phone got on 21 September and after a few days without service drops to 3G and stays there until the toggle airplane mode or reset network. Went to Verizon 23 got a new SIM card and after a few hours, the problem came back. Next day went to Apple told them the problem they did exchange of unit that had to be ordered because he had no stock and 27, I got the replacement phone first day that it was quite good, but the second day, all the problems are back this time the phone has a whistle as well... so on September 30 , brought the phone to apple as well as the box and they said they can get a me another replacement and I refused it not knowing not if its released State and requested a refund, but Engineering did not repay because the serial number is different from the box. Fortunately, I chatted with Apple the previous day and received the email and talked to the Manager and eventually returned the device.

I want to keep the phone but has returned to be sure whether a hardware problem is present they will fix it on the line, so I'm going to order a new one.

I started using an old iPhone 4 and tried to do a restore to iCloud and keep says that is not possible because I need a version of IOS 8, but I read iPhone 4 cannot have this version because it is not compatible. I can't remember which version of IOS, I had on my 4s, but they suspect that it was a version of IOS 8. Is there anyway that I can restore all my data from my 4s to 4 without IOS 8?

  You cannot restore a phone since with an iOS backup later, I'm afraid, you would need to change the phone.

• ISE 1.1.1 Iphones comments CWA connection dropouts

  I deployed access as guest wireless using the CWA. It's a simple configuration so I did no maintenance or customer provisioning enabled on the deployment. In short my question directly relates to Iphones (I have not yet been tested with other mobile devices). Basically a laptop connects, gets redirected, authenticates successfully and ultimately can browse internet and network resources.

  With an Iphone I connect, redirected, authenticate successfully, accept the AUP and finally get a page that says I'm connected and should return my original URL. At this point, I try to open safari by going to the main GUI of IPhone, Wireless drops and falls safari at 3G connectivity. I then go back to wireless connections and click the SSID that immediately reconnects and allows access based on the connection of the moose.

  If anyone has experienced this problem and if so what is it apply? Y at - it a setting or the command miss me on the system or is this yet another case of device BYOD was a pain in the back with ISE?

  Have you tested this on iOS6? It has a feature that will let down wireless and go to 3G if you are unable to reach the www.apple.com/library/test/success.html, I think it is called auto-join or something? also recently this page done down at apple, and caused a few problems for Iphone/Ipad users, maybe that is what have seen you.

  Time Machine problem with upgrade to Yosemite to El Cap on a laptop MBPr 15 "mid-2012.

  Time Machine backup plan: by wifi or LAN cable for two different hard disks attached to a Mac Mini that is on the local network. Two USB mini drives would serve as a backup for a total of 4 Mac disks at home.

  I upgraded yesterday to El Capitan. Behavior of the time Machine now: excruciatingly slow. All the steps (preparation, backup, cleanup) takes hours. My laptop was connected to the wired LAN for 9 hours now and is only 1.26 GB thanks to a backup of 3.82 GB. Speed (from MenuMeters) is under 10 KB/sec - Yes, it is * kilogram * bytes/s.

  Speed of transfer of files between the two machines via drag & drop is very good, ~80MB/sec both on the LAN, about 12 MB/s in wifi. Laptop computer interacts with the web at normal speeds. It does not appear that Time Machine, which is watered, and only on my laptop of Capitaned newly-El. My other domestic machines (all on Yosemite still) back up normally.

  I tried:

  -power / reboot both machines.

  -power / restart the LAN together.

  -cycle Time Machine power switch in the Prefs system.

  -Remove the two drives as backup targets TM laptop, then re - specify with preferences TM;

  -other things that I found through the search for this problem.

  It is a common problem in judging by the many valuation model who met it. I searched a lot and found nothing that helped me.

  I can't work without a viable backup. For now, I use Carbon Copy Cloner to duplicate my SSD MBPr for an external hard drive. Not really satisfying.

  Please make a copy of test in the Finder of the source for the backup volume. Is it too slow? Delete the files copied from the backup volume after the test.

• Audio books are in 2 places on iTunes

  A summarized set of audio books are in my iTunes Playlist "On My Device', those who would be those that I recently added. A more complete list, more than 700 books, are included in the summary of the topic audiobooks to iTunes. Unfortunately, when I check the books I want to download on my iPod, it accesses books from two sources and one in the Audible icon and the other place in the icon the playlist of music on my iPod.

  This problem has arisen in the last three months.  (BTW, we've never used "Sync only checked songs and videos" and create Playlists to manage content).

  Where an asset appears in iTunes is determined by the media Type setting for each item.  Audio files from an external source (imported into iTunes) can get imported as songs (music), as iTunes does not know that they are audio books.  I do not understand your description of the problem, but if some of your audio books in your library of iTunes, not your library of books music audio iTunes, that's the problem.  And they will also appear on the iPod as songs, when synchronized.

  If you have a large number of audio books that appear in your library iTunes music, a convenient way to fix them all at the same time is to create a new playlist and add all the audio books (which are currently considered songs) to the playlist.  In the playlist, select any item and do a select all (Ctrl-A keyboard OR menu bar Edition-> select All).  Right-click on the selection and information.  On the window information from several element, click the Options tab.  Change media kind in audiobook, then OK.  All selected items should now appear in your audiobooks to iTunes library.

  NOTE: Depending on how sync you media on your iPod, you may need to remove affected audio books on your iPod first and then re - add (after they are ordered by iTunes as audio books).

  If you are not able to change the Type of media, please after return.

PS/2 of work of course tho) and keyboard (logitech... once again, ps/2 keyboard gtg wireless) usb hub/printer all drop as well (2-3 sec.) Only belkin n52te usb handpad remains connected and operational. Equipped with a usb already removed and replaced all known .uninstalled units all devices in the Manager of currency... nada... all the drivers are current through paretologic health advisor.  Dead in the water!

• Windows Update does nothing...

  OK, so the title says it all. However, iv looked at several posts and threads within those.

  my system is former general... Originally installed was the beautiful Vista, Ahhhhh... OK, enough, around 2009. I finally take 7 (toward 2014) things are going well until 3 days ago. I have had DRASTIC drops in FPS (frames per sec.) 90 > 10 instantly and jumping continued... Then I talked to a lot of personal technicians close and all bouncing ideas back and forth, I get voids with a any hope of fixing (process control, RAM, covering even the files that could have been removed by an unwanted program and unwanted programs themselves and last but not least by ensuring that all my drivers are up to date... At this stage iv installed a program called DriverMax (bad idea) he told me everything was outdated and I've updated everything. Still no solution... but worse, physical memory starts to jump, and CPU utilization go down 95%. This point! I'm at my end "whits"... new "clean" Windows 7 installation... everything is back to 100%, except for one huge thing... After I downloaded AVG I start windows updates... She will continue the search for updates and stops after 15-20 minutes (the window just closes) without finding updates.

  IV tried everything iv seen so far on these forums and can't fix it. Nearest IV seen is a guy saying to download the REQUIRED files (2 I think) and install the next clean installation WHILE the Internet is disconnected from the tower so on startup/system configuration download manually the files causing the locking...

  If a technician has ANY info at all to give me more help, please just ask.

  I'm looking for a way to animate liquid effects on my shape layers. A few days, I am looking for tutorials, but with no good result.

  The liquid elements are simply elements of sequences that can be used as mattes. There are 1 million ways to create liquid appearance. You can liquid film, such as a paint or ink is pores or splashed on the display panel and then treat this film in a cache of high contrast. You can create within After Effects using the shape layers and distorting. The trick used in the creation of the transition to the: 14 is simply a cache by approach applied to a layer which was probably a demo model or nested elements of the nature and the form.

  If you want to create your own, take your smart phone and a piece of paper and some inks and something that looks like this by dropping ink on paper film: I'm just a glass filled with water and dropped two drops of ink in there with a piece of paper behind it and got this:

  OK, the story of the life here! I just got back from running, and I was very muddy, so I decided to take a shower I went up stairs to get my speakers and went to the bathroom. I got the speaker plugged in outside (btw my phones dead) then I got my phone not realizing it was to halfway in his case he freaked out (me trying to catch it made it even worse) I almost took when he spilled out of my reach and in the toilet. Immediately I took out as soon as possible humanllie and tried to see if he would show this little sign of battery and he did so I skipped, he and (it seemed OK) there where my dumb blondeness kicked in I decided to put it in my speaker to recharge it because I thought that I would be able to better see the screen when he lit the screen worked for at least 1 minute then it became completely black and the State now! WHAT SHOULD I DO?

  This means you should STOP PUTTING ELECTRICITY through your phone untreated, ack!

  Your phone has a display problem, but yes - it lights up.
  Perhaps your problem is just a bad screen (which is unfortunately a part of $250 to a 6 sec more now).  Apple cannot help you with other water damage that offers to sell you an iPhone refurbished for $349.

  But most likely, your problem is also on the logic board - usually fixable.

  There is no way around the need for touch operation and the image on the phone to access the data.

  In order to access the data on the phone, you need your advice to hold the power and start, (it does) you need of your screen image lines, and you need to contact work.  Ideally, you would also have your backlight lines works as well.

  Most of the phones in this condition have a pretty good shot in data recovery in this situation - touch, and line of the image problems are usually solvable if your phone can be detected by iTunes.   It is certainly not DIY work, this is a troubleshooting open-ended the microsoldering and level of card issues.

  Your only option for recovering data would be to find a good microsolderer experienced in data recovery.

  I recommend to replace any phone which has seen water, corrosion on the Board always weakens solder everywhere, so the phone is likely to have a shorter duration of life more problematic.

  Note: It may be possible to cancel your option for the swap of OOW $349 at Apple if you continue recovering data at the level of Council - although I've never seen this happen.
