iPhone 7: interactive Notifications

Hello!

I backed up my iPhone 6 and restored then the backup of my new iPhone 7. The only feature that seems to be 'missing' are the news interactive Notifications in iOS10.

When I swipe to the left of any notice of my lock screen (whether they are always locked or unlocked by TouchID), the only option to appear is clear. It is reportable in the absence of notice. So, I have to enter the application to meet an iMessage or similar to other applications.

I checked the following parameters:

  • Press ID and password > access when they are blocked > all permits
  • Notifications > Messages > all permits with banners

I am not sure if I missed something or if it is a bug.

As I said, it worked properly on my iPhone 6, and I can always contact notifications in this way by the banners, but not from the Notification Center or the lock screen.

I also tried to compare my settings from my iPhone 6 to my iPhone 7 and everything seems to fit. I also tried to toggle the settings that I listed above.

This was one of my favorite features of iOS 10, so you can imagine that I can't wait to make it work properly.

If anyone has any other ideas, please let me know.

Thank you!

-Eric

After talking with @AppleSupport on Twitter, I discovered that it is because the 7A 3D so that iPhone Touch iPhone 6 does not. Left of the slide and view option is now the same as the use of 3D touch on the notification.

Tricky, but logic.

It is by design. When you watch unlocked (that is, you wear it) and the phone is in standby mode, all notifications will be directed to your watch instead of the phone survey. Custom notification sounds are not played on the watch.

  • Disable iMessage app (Mac) when I hit iMessages on iPhone (El Capitan - Notifications fix does not work)

I think that this question is a little different from the others posted. I am not connected to iMessage on my phone. I think my MacBook is my Apple ID associated with it, but I've not logged in the App, and I already turned off all the boxes of banners/badges/alerts and unchecked everything in system preferences > Notifications menu.

However, the question that I find annoying, everytime I go to iMessage on my iPhone application appears at the bottom of the screen on my Mac, even if I am not logged in. Exit iMessage on my iPhone and it disappears on my Mac. There is nothing in common with my Mac, but its boring whenever I'm Messaging on my iPhone application appears on my MacBook, and I watch my Mac to see whats moving on the screen but its just letting me know that I have the app open on my iPhone iMessage. Does anyone know how to disable this feature?

I just want it to be completely gone and not follow when I open the iMessage app on my iPhone. Does anyone know how to do this?

    Thank you!

    Hi James b. Moore,.

If I understand your question, whenever you use the Messages app on your iPhone, you will see it appear on your Mac and you do not want the application on your computer, right?

Looks like you have the characteristics of continuity enabled on your Mac.  The resources below will explain how to disable features such as transfer to separate the activities of your Mac and iPhone.

Continuity of use to connect your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch and Mac

    Transfer procedure

With the transfer process, you can start a document by e-mail or message on a device and pick up where you left from another device. Transfer works with applications Apple such as Mail, Safari, maps, Messages, reminders, calendar, Contacts, Pages, Numbers and Keynote. Some third-party applications are also compatible.

    Disable the transfer procedure

If you want to disable the transfer on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, go to settings > general > Handoff & suggested Apps. Can disable Handoff.

On your Mac, go in system of preferences > General. Can uncheck the setting allow Handoff.

With continuity, all SMS and MMS text messages that you send and receive on your iPhone may also appear on your Mac, iPad, and iPod touch. You can also meet your contacts from any device is closer to you, including your iPad or Mac.

You can start a conversation in the Messages application or click on a phone number in Safari, Contacts, or calendar.

Set up SMS and MMS with continuity

    1. You need to iOS 8 or later version on your device iOS and OS X Yosemite or later version on your Mac.
    2. Connect to the iMessage with the same Apple ID on your iPhone, your other iOS devicesand your Mac.
    3. On your iPhone, go to settings > Messages > Send and receive. Add a control to both your phone number and email address. Then go to settings > Messages > text Message Forwarding and turn on the device or devices that you want to transfer the messages.  (Disable this function if you want no messages will appear on your Mac.)
    4. Looking for a code on the Mac, iPad, or iPod touch that you enabled. Then enter this code to check on your iPhone.

    Take care

    Hello

    The following steps may help:

  • notifications of iOS 10 does not work

Given that I have upgraded to iOS 10 on my iPhone 6 and got my new iPhone 7, my notifications do not work properly.  I used to get notifications of many different applications.  I have notifications enabled in the application and in the settings.  I've had several people look at and others noted that they are not getting them as well.

    any suggestions?

Try resetting your device. This will not erase your data stored on that device.

    • Press and hold the sleep/wake button
    • Press and hold the Home button
    • Press and hold both buttons until the display turns off and on again with the Apple logo on the subject.

Alternatively, you can go to settings - general - reset - Reset all settings

If that doesn't work, restore your device to factory settings. Please note that this will delete the data on your device.

Take a look this Apple Support article: use iTunes to restore the iPhone, iPad or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support.

  • Impossible to disable the notification app on Apple Watch 2

    Hello

I recently bought a new series of Apple Watch 2, which comes with the watch as 3 preinstalled OS. I know that all my notifications in instant messaging (whatsapp, wechat) have been reflected on my Apple Watch. I find too boring and I want to turn it off. I followed the instructions (go Apple Watch app on the iphone paired, then notifications, search for the application and then turn off 'iphone mirror'), but it did not work. Notifications will always appear on my watch for these two applications. The only way I can get rid of the notification is to change the style of alert iphone to "none" for both applications. But this way I get the banner on iphone or which is not acceptable.

    So my question is:

    1. What is the settings "mirror iphone alerts" in the menu of notification of Apple Watch app supposed to do? He seems to have no effect at all?
    2. This notification of iphone mirror setting OS level control or that something must be supported by the application in order to have the effect? In other words, if it's a bug, is a watch OS bug or a bug in the application?

    Thank you

    Hi xinchao

After you disable the option for ' mirror iPhone alert of "for each application, it can be useful to restart your iPhone and your watch, both off together, and then restart your iPhone first:

10 IOS I get a lot of "ghost" hot flushes - the flash fires, but there is no notifications will appear when I look at the phone. I'm going through, looking for notifications turn off, but I still get it.

Is it possible to get a list certainly or a view of what is causing those phantom notifications?

    Hello there, Devin Ceartas!

Thank you for joining the communities Support from Apple! It seems that you are having problems with your iPhone and the notification LED. I know how important it is everything on the iPhone works fine. First of all, read this article with the steps to restart your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch.

The next thing you might want to try going in settings of the iPhone and then Reset. Once there, tap reset all settings. This will reset the settings of the iPhone, but does not erase personal information such as pictures, music or contacts. However, it will remove a connection Wi - Fi and VPN settings, so do not forget, you have these settings and passwords ready for iPhone upward starting.

If this does not work, it would be a good idea to make sure that there is not a problem of software as the cause of this for you.

    1. Read this article to know the steps for backing up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
    2. Use this article for steps to use iTunes on your Mac or PC to restore the iPhone, iPad or iPod to factory settings.

  • No sound after iPhone 6s don't disconnect bluetooth car

I have just a Jeep Renegade 2016 with the UConnect 5.0 system. When I pair to play music, or make a call, resembles the notification text plays through the loudspeaker of the car. It is very good. The problem comes when I stop the car and walk, be it for my home, work or any other place. My phone is now silent. No notification text is one example. I also do not have sound when listening to music through the speaker on the iPhone or even sound film when you watch YouTube. Only solution I currently have is to do a full reset, and it is not realistic to consider that, at the very least, I have to reset twice a day IF it's the home-work and then work at home. Forget multiple destinations outside the workplace and home.

Y at - it solution or options to prevent. Don't use only not bluetooth to my car to make calls is not an option and reset my phone several times is not an option. You will need to find a way to solve this problem.

Also, I made the last update to 9.3 and which did not solve the problem.

    Hello

The same thing is happening to me. I have a VW Garmin maps and more modular. After that I disconnected and moved away from that my iPhone has no notification sounds. The only way to solve the problem is to restart my iPhone.

  • Provide Notifications in all of the life cycle App?

Hi, I implement of notifications of type push in a Cordova/WebWorks app, and I would like to know what are the options for notifications I can give my app users during the different stages of the life cycle of app.

When the application is in the foreground , I can post a warning - that's fine. When the application is in the background, I could put the app in the foreground and the attention of the user, although I'd rather see them there is a message to be consumed and let the user decide when to access? The same case applies for push notifications that are received after the app has been closed/killed.

If I understand correctly, using webworks I have not access to notifications bar (reference) to my interactive notifications. Although I can use the API of the application to see the/remove an icon + number on the banner/title bar, for example

I can also use a reactivation page to display notifications received while the application was in the background or State of killed. Is that what I missed, and is what the above correct? Any suggestions on how to better manage push messages during history and killed States are welcome. Thank you

    Thanks for the quick response.

Yes, when the application is closed, a push message starts the application, but in the background (it is visible in the task Chooser). Without a notification, the user would not necessarily be aware that a new message has arrived, without getting into the app - I don't want to not push messages to open the app in the foreground without consent/intent of the user. I understand that push, notification messages are separate entities, but I'm interested in how they can work together (the use of notifications to give control to the user regarding if/when consuming incoming messages when the application is not already in the foreground - I should maybe reviewing my post otherwise).

I think my strategy will be to check if the application is in the background when a push message, if so, save message push of local storage blob/string, increment the number of banner and then users the ability to use/read the message when they re-enter the app.

  • iOS 10 with certificate self-signed in MS Exchange

    Hello

I try to connect a 5SE iPhone on iOS 10.0.2 with a MS Exchange Server from 2013.

The iPhone stops with "can't check the server. On iOS, I had the choice between 'Detail', 'Cancel' and 'Continue '.

IOS 10, I can choose between "Retail" and "Cancel".

Is it necessary to import the corresponding root CA to the iPhone?

After 3 days to talk to Apple, 1st level 2nd level, and then 3rd level, can be referred to as Apple UK 4 tier support ofth , who then told Apple City international partner assistance to the companies. They finally recognized that there is a problem. They will not take any responsibility for the origin of the problem because they say that it is a 'system level cross' IE Apple talking to Microsoft, even if it affects only ios 10. They said they are working on a fix, but it will not turn out until probably the next versions of ios 10. They have apparently will keep me in the loop on their progress.

For the time being the only solution I found is to use the Microsoft Outlook client for iphones until Apple notifies otherwise.

  • Vibration

    Hello

in my iphone 6 vibration never work her make a little noise, but in sittinge is on! ?

    Hello dahyhamed,

Thank you for using communities Support from Apple!

Looks like you want to have your iPhone vibrates under notifications.  This vibration can be great to let you know if something is received on the iPhone, especially when you don't want to disturb others by making a sound. I'll be happy to try to help you with this.

The first thing to check is vibrating.  To access it, tap Settings > general > accessibility.  Scroll to the Vibration and make sure it is turned on.  So you want to go to settings > sounds.  Under the section of vibrate, make sure 'Vibrate on the Ring' and 'Vibration on Silent' are also on, then restart the iPhone and the test.

If these settings are enabled and the phone is still not vibrating, then the next step would be to reset all settings.  Before you do this, it is preferable that you have a backup.  Nothing that I will propose should result in no data loss, but it's always a good idea to have a backup.  If you follow this link, you will find instructions on how to make a backup:

The backup of your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch

Once you have a backup, then perform the reset all settings.  Reset preference files resets all parameters that may be problems. This step will not delete your contacts, photos or personal information. It deletes all your preferences for Wi - Fi, Bluetooth, do not disturb, Notifications, general, sounds, brightness & wallpaper and privacy and removes your Touch ID & password.

Do you this by clicking on settings > general > reset > reset all settings.

Once you have done this, test the iPhone and see if the vibration works as expected.

    See you soon!
