IPhone charger questions

Dear Apple,

You are known for the production of world class products and there are people who swear by the value of your brand. I used your product for the first time (I Phone 6) that I bought about 1 year and 7 months. Let me tell you, I have never been a huge fan of tech - I use a phone because I need one. However, using an apple product has been a pleasant surprise. Once you overcome the initial obstacles (as the previous button is on top), an I phone is nice to use.  I was however disappointed at how my charger started whipping into pieces after only 1.7 years of use. While the phone is still strong, I have to buy a new charger (which is not cheap either!). I understand that we can all have a phone with great accessories that will last a very long time. Phones other brands may not work well after a few years, their chargers are still in great shape. I hope that you would make more stronger things.

Yours,

Sincere user!

do you mean the charger or cable?

If you mean cable then always unplug by pulling on the plug never the cable itself

I always use my iPod touch 1 g from 2008 cable

with iPod touch 3 g, iphone4, iPad 2, iphone5c, iphone6s

all the operational cables, all ac Chargers too

but I had pulled the wire itself when disconnecting it I don't know they would have been worn down

also, it's a user help user forum, that you speak not apple here if you wish to complain in front of them or them somehow you must use the return path, they did for these things http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphone.html of advice

  • iPhone charger question 5

    Hi all

Need some advice of everyone around

I have an iPhone 5 and using iOS 9.2.1 Public Beta 1

Recently, I noticed that my mobile battery would drain very quickly

I always keep the Mode low battery but still it runs

    For example:

It would be 60% and my phone airplane Mode

At the moment I have out of flight Mode and use within 10 minutes, it falls to 40%

My phone is almost 3 years old now

    What do you guys suggest?

Since you have a beta version of the iOS installed, it is difficult to tell if the problem is software or hardware related.

Remove the beta version and reinstall the latest official version.

    ThreeJay,

Here are a few tips. It is important to note that Apple recommends not compressed air.

If none of this works for you, and you are experiencing load problems, take the FSAA or Apple Store.

  • IPhone charging 7 question

Good if for some reason any, my iphone to stop loading, I used different cables and adapters, but the problem persists.

To load it again I have to move my phone a little and it will start loading again.

    Hello samharl123,

Please ask questions about your iPhone, recharge here in Apple Support communities. I don't know what I'd do without my iPhone. When I was traveling, I even had to buy a USB multi for my devices charging station, so I understand the importance of the power and portability! The description of your problem, it seems that the lightning cable is not correctly seated.

Please test this with several cables and let me know the issue seems to occur with different cables as well. If the official Apple cable provided with the iPhone 7 is loose, or does not stay in the right place when you plug it in, and loading stops when (for example), you set it on the bedside table and have to jiggle it or adjust just to make sure, it remains to load or start charging again for you, then the port of loading on the iPhone should be checked by a technician of certified material. You can find a service provider using this link: Apple find locations. There may be other options available, depending on where you are, when you bought your iPhone 7 and the status of your warranty. If you want to ask what options are available to you, please contact an AppleCare Advisor using this link: Contact the Apple Support. I know they will help you professionally and promptly.

Thanks again for visiting communities Support from Apple. Have a great rest of your day.

  • Car USB charger question

Bought a charger car Macally, model USBCIG2, that lists all compatible iPod and iPhone models.  My question is that will work with my Clip charger, it is standard 5v usb output.

MacAlly also has a model for Sansa, but good luck to find in a store.

I searched on this site, but almost all are related to 120v Chargers, and I hope that someone knows this model and will know if he's out standard usb.

    Thanks, Mike

I think that all shippers output USB 5v, +/-.25v.  The question would be the output amperage.  The USBCIG2 supports the iPhone, I've read elsewhere takes 1a for loading, that would be perfect for the Clip.  I used a 750mA both a 1 charger with my Clip, and both work very well.

But you can contact Macally technical support to confirm this (and your first response will probably tell you to buy the Sansa model instead ).

  • iPhone charging stops with view 4.5

    Hi all

We have just updated our infrastructure view 4.5 and that includes Agents of the view.

We have equipment PCoIP some Wyse P20 and Samsung NC240. Before the 4.5 upgrade iPhones may be charged by these devices. Now, they can't.

Interestingly, the work of loading when the screen is turned on and seized are connected to an Agent from the view. As soon as a connection is established with a desktop computer that is no longer for the iphone can be charged.

I tried to use PCoIP FW 3.1.2 and 3.2.0. The result is the same.

    He worked with view 4.0.1.

    Anyone saw similar?

    Rob of TIA.

Excellent question.   I was sure that I had tested this during my evaluation of PCoIP and work load.  But then after we got it installed (and has since upgraded to 4.5), it didn't work anymore and I was wondering if it never worked or I just imagined it. But your post says it's true.

It seems that both the view is not in the control that it works, so I know it had something to do with a view.  In the log file in:

    c:\Program Data\VMware\VDM\pcoip_server*.txt (location of Win 7)

I found this, after you have connected the phone:

    15/12/2010, 16:15:40.984 > LVL:2 RC: SOFT_USB 0: VID:0x05ac, PID:0 x 1294, connected
    15/12/2010, 16:15:40.984 > LVL:2 RC: SOFT_USB 0: 1 desc_len 57 device_id softusb_plugin_device
    ....
    15/12/2010, 16:15:40.984 > LVL:2 RC: 0 SOFT_USB: softusb_plugin_device: VID_05AC & PID_1294 block (1 addr)

I recognized this as the id of the seller of my iPhone I just watched it in the device list of the PCoIP hardware news.  So, that tells me that it was to be

    actively blocked.

I searched the registry and found:

    HKLM\SOFTWARE\VMware, Inc. \VMware VDM\USB\HardwareIDFilers.

Here is the complete list of blocked devices (apparently the default list).

    VID_0FCA & PID_8004 # RIM / Blackberry
    VID_08F0 & PID_0005 # Corex Tehcnologies /?
    VID_05AC & PID_1293 # Apple / iPod Touch 2. Gen
    VID_046D & PID_08AF # Logitech / Quickcam Easy/Cool
    VID_04a9 & PID_1736 # Canon?
    VID_04a9 & PID_1737 # Canon?
    VID_04a9 & PID_1741 # Canon?
    VID_03F0 & PID_2A12 # HP / some printer model
    VID_05AC & PID_129A # Apple / iPad
    VID_05AC & PID_1294 # Apple / iPhone 3GS
    VID_05AC & PID_1290 # Apple / iPhone

I looked at the codes provider and device. The # and the following are not part of the parameters.

I don't know why these particular devices are listed.  Some, like the Blackberry, are wide enough, and others refer only to specific devices.   Its likely that some of these devices either do not work, or more likely to cause some sort of problem or accident.  Reference is made to this registry key in the following KB: http://kb.vmware.com/kb/1011600 but not really a full explanation.

In any case, I took one for the iPhone 3GS and after registration on and connect to a new session, I have the charging symbol on my new iPhone!

Use with caution because I do not know there is a good reason for some of these devices being on the list.

    Hope this helps someone.

P.S. This does not mean that sync and other feature (haven't tested).  This simply means that you can load.

  • the 6s "uncertified" iPhone charger

    Hello

When I plugged my iPhone 6s this afternoon, he came with a message, in short, that the charger was "not certified". It has never happened to me before, so I thought it was weird. I plugged my charger for my iPad, and it worked. This means that it was not a problem with the port of loading, more with the charger. Does anyone have any ideas as to what it might be?

    Thank you

Hello, if your charger is original you should take it to the Apple Store for a diagnosis. It may be a hardware problem.
