iPhone deleted all saved messages when I changed 3 pop server

I have an iphone 6 + with the last update of ios, and he seems to have hit a problem.

I've moved my domain name to another Web host, downloaded all my mail on my phone and went in and put in the new pop 3 Server.

Messages have been downloaded on my phone, and was not an imap server. Now my Inbox is wiped away, and I don't understand why

Nevermind, don't use your iphone for mail

  • iOS 9.3.1 auto deletes all text messages

I recently updated my iPhone 5 16 GB iOS 9.3.1. It resulted in all messages of text being removed from the Messages app.

The phone was low on space so I thought that the problem could be due to a lack of space.

I also noticed that all the new text messages are deleted after a few hours.

I've now updated my phone to an iPhone SE 64 GB (which is also iOS 9.3.1).

However, all new text messages I get are always deleted after a few hours.

Also incoming messages creates all notifications even if the parameters see be OK

When upgrading to the new I restored a backup of the previous phone to iCloud

I checked the message parameters and 'Keep the Messages' is set to 'Forever '.

I also tried to disable iMessage, but this has no effect.

I can live with losing old text messages and there are a lot of tips online on extracting of backups.

However, I really need to fix this problem for all new messages

If this has been resolved? I have the same problem too. Just upgraded my wife 5 to 9.3.1 iOS iPhone (16GB) and all the old text messages have been deleted and new create notifications and deleted. All settings have been properly verified. I have hard to started, several times without a bit of luck. This is absolutely unacceptable.

  • BlackBerry Z10 delete a saved Wi - Fi network / change the wireless setting?

I know that this is possible on BBOS7, and I'm doing all the time on my Z10...

How to remove a saved Wi - Fi network? Say, for example, I had connected to my Wi - Fi work to 'test' and now want to be able to leave my Wi - Fi on without her autoconnecting whenever I'm in the office, how can I delete the saved network profile?

I see no way of deleting or disabling of this. Someone at - it ideas?

On looking again, it appears in fact as a way to change the Wi - Fi connection settings if you have connected to a network.

In the saved networks screen, tap the registered network and you will see that it opens the profile and the keyboard appears. Press one of the fields not textual to make the keyboard disappears and you'll see a delete button at the bottom on the left. Hard to find from the keyboard by default it covers.

  • Delete all text messages?

It seems very stupid, but I don't see how to remove all text messages at once on my Treo 500v. When I select TEXT messages I got in my Inbox. I have the option to delete the selected text, or I can go into the Menu. There is no option to delete anything at all in the Menu.

So I can delete individual messages, one at a time, but I have hundreds and taking too long. I want to be able to delete the Inbox all but I can't figure out how.

    Thank you

    Richard

  • I get this new error message when you change the properties of generation for an installer in LV2011sp1. - anyone know what it is?

I built this front Installer. But I think that this is the first time since the upgrade to SP1. Now when I look at just the proerties for Installer build (I have yet to change), I get this error message when I hit the OK button.

If I select No., it just stops. If I select YES, it seems to go ok. But I have not tried to build a new installer again.

    Anyone know what it is?

Photo of the message is attached.

I find it always useful to publish at least part of the error in your post, while others in the future may seek and find the answer.

I think that you will be able to correct the error by clicking on the option of additional installers on the left pane, and then click OK to save the build.

You probably asked to point the installer on some files that were missing since the upgrade.  I think that this occurs when the version of something on your computer changes, but the installer doesn't seem to know other installers until you visit the dialog box.  It would be brutal trying to replicate, but I met the same problem before.

Nothing will change about your address book or messages currently downloaded when you switch. That said, there are a number of reasons, you may lose data and so it's a good idea to backup OE regularly. Here are a few options.

  • Outlook Express deleted all my messages in the Inbox, in any case to get it back?

I looked at the answers online, but have not been able to understand how to recover messages that were in my Inbox before compaction.

Two reasons the most common for what you describe is disruption of the compacting process, (never touch anything until it's finished), or bloated folders. More about that below.

Why OE insists on compacting folders when I close it? :

    About file Corruption:
    http://www.Microsoft.com/Windows/IE/community/columns/filecorruption.mspx

    Recovery methods:

If you use XP/SP2 or SP3, and are fully patched, then you should have a backup of your dbx files in the Recycle Bin (or possibly the message store), copied as bak files.

To restore a folder bak on the message store folder, first find the location of the message store.

Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store folder will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files. Note the location and navigate on it in Explorer Windows or, copy and paste in start | Run.

In Windows XP, the .dbx files are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in the Solution Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder options | View.

Close OE and in Windows Explorer, click on the dbx to the file missing or empty file, then drag it to the desktop. It can be deleted later once you have successfully restored the bak file. Minimize the message store.

Open OE and, if the folder is missing, create a folder with the * exact * same name as the bak file you want to restore but without the .bak. For example: If the file is Saved.bak, the new folder should be named saved. Open the new folder, and then close OE. If the folder is there, but just empty, continue to the next step.

First of all, check if there is a bak file already in the message. If there is, and you have removed the dbx file, go ahead and rename it in dbx.

If it is not already in the message, open the trash and do a right-click on the file bak for the folder in question and click on restore. Open the message store up and replace the .bak by .dbx file extension. Close the message store and open OE. Messages must be in the folder.

If messages are restored successfully, you can go ahead and delete the old dbx file that you moved to the desktop.

If you have not then bak copies of your dbx files in the Recycle Bin:

DBXpress run in extract disc Mode is the best chance to recover messages:
    http://www.oehelp.com/DBXpress/default.aspx

    And see:
    http://www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#4

A general warning to help avoid this in the future:

Do not archive mail in default OE folders. They finally are damaged. Create your own folders defined by the user for mail storage and move your mail to them. Empty the deleted items folder regularly. Keep user created folders under 300 MB, and also empty as is possible to default folders.

Disable analysis in your e-mail anti-virus program. It is a redundant layer of protection that devours the CPUs, slows down sending and receiving and causes a multitude of problems such as time-outs, account setting changes and has even been responsible for the loss of messages. Your up-to-date A / V program will continue to protect you sufficiently. For more information, see:
    http://www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3
