IPhone not being recognized by itunes

Last night I updated my itunes to 12.5.1 account. Before that, I plugged my iPhone 6 and ran a synchronization to transfer music. After I updated, I connected my device to transfer music more, but this time my itunes account does not recognize my iphone - the symbol of the iphone will not be displayed in the left corner and itunes says I have no devices connected. But when I connect my iphone to my laptop, it gives me a notification was just plugged in my iphone. It should also be noted that I have to upgrade my iphone 6 to 10. How can I make my device seen by itunes? (Also, it should be noted that I use a Dell XPS 13 - please not to denigrate this brand, I just bought this laptop last month, its state of the art and in fact better than the Apple Mac Book Pro-)

  • PRODUCT NORTON CAUSED MY IPHONE IS NOT BEING RECOGNIZED BY MY PC

I installed a Norton product on my PC. After this installation, I saw is no longer my iphone in the devices connected to my PC. I uninstalled Norton, however, I still don't see my iphone to get the images out of it.  When I go into devices I get this error message:

"Windows cannot start this hardware device because its information of configuration (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19) »

How can I fix this problem?

After posting the above question, I discovered the following: my camera would not appear when I click on computer, but if I go to "Devices and printers", my iphone shows up with a triangle with an exclamation mark inside. If I right click on the device, it opens a popup window where the options "' create a shortcut, troubleshoot and properties". " If I right click on trouble shoot, it opens another window that lets you just pull and fix or correct the problem.  When I did it said that my driver for my iphone was not updated. I followed the instructions to fix it and "whalla" it is now fixed and I can see my Iphone once more. (Either by the way, I use a PC with windows 7 64 bit OS). So apparently Norton damaged my driver of the Iphone, and uninstall it it does not solve the problem. But windows has been able to address them in troubleshooting.

  • 7th generation iPod nano will not be recognized by iTunes more.

My laptop is fairly recent. Provided with Windows 10. My iPod is recognized and works perfectly until about 2 months ago. iPod still works and plays. The laptop recognizes that there is something related to the USB key, but iTunes does not properly recognize it. I would like to get some new music, but it is quite difficult if iTunes does not recognize my device. Nothing help online troubleshooting things and I don't feel like calling apple support and deal with them. Any advice is welcome.

  • Media card reader disappears from leading to the card not being recognized under computer

Original title: two years with media player card hardware/software problem?

When I insert my card player media the G, H, I and J readers disappear which leads to the card is not recognized. If I completely shut down my computer, they come back and the card will read for this session. This does not happen if I do a simple reboot. My computer is not quite two years old and it lasts since almost the beginning. Dell has replaced once the card reader and cable three times and the motherboard. The last technician who came to me thinking that it might be a software Bus USB error. All drivers have been updated. I am at my wits end, because the problem does not happen whenever I inserted the card, but now, it happens more frequently. This problem seems to occur with the map of media player. And Yes, it happens with all Media Player cards. I mainly use this computer to upload photos. I was told NOT to back up my computer because, if it was a software problem I just would be to reinstall the problem once I did a restore. Is there someone out there who can help?

    Hi Chris,

I was finally brave enough to install the updates of the firmware. I went from the 7.8 version version 7.12, but no luck. Initially, it worked, but once my computer came into fashion 'sleep', and I returned to use again, it didn't work. This has been a problem for almost all the time that I owned the computer. Very very frustrating!

    Any other suggestions, anyone?

    Thank you

    Hello.

I followed the frequently asked questions on the Toshiba support page, and it led to to do me a system recovery. I followed the instructions (turn off, start up everything in '0', version 0 now when the computer beeps...) but it does not work.

The model starts to beep as expected, but when I '0' let it starts just Windows as usual.

Can anyone help? I do the recovery with a CD instead? Of course, it will be a problem if the drive does not well :(

  • iPhone, iPad Air 2 not recognized by iTunes

Very frustrated right now. Given that Apple's Support is not in contact with return despite requests, the story will go here. I have Windows 10, iPhone 6 + and iPad Air 2. Last weekend I was invited to and did pass to iTunes 12.5.1.21. Plugged my iPhone 6 +. Not recognized by iTunes; 'sync' gray. Tried the same thing with my iPad 2 Air. Same result. I get no error message.  Here are my troubleshooting - what I'm missing, Apple?

    1. Lightning card Checked, works fine with other devices.
    2. Rebooted PC.
    3. Rebooted IPhone.
    4. Restarted iPad Air 2.
    5. I've tried different start up sequences (start iTunes connect manually; first)
    6. Went to 'Upgrade device via Device Manager' - these devices are working properly.
    7. Updated my iPhone and iPad 2 air for iOS 10 successfully.
    8. Apple email support; 48 hours later they gave me another email address for contact.
    9. Chose the Contact Apple Support via phone option - screen "we will call you - your phone will ring at any time.  Still waiting for the phone to ring.
    10. From Discussions on Apple's site with troubleshooting tips, have tried all suggestions with no luck - If iTunes does not recognize your iPhone, iPad or iPod - Apple Support.
    11. I even opened and closed the blinds completely throughout my house to see if that would help.  Go figure.
    12. The last resort on them, says "Contact Apple support" - see #9 above.  Twice.

Apple-Support - What should I do at this point?  I'm all ears, and Android is looking better and better during my next upgrade.

Happy to report that I finally found a position that has fixed this. Someone has to give Community contributor turingtest2 a price, they had an incredible post in communities that have corrected my problem.  See below for the excellent suggestions.

You can run the latest version of iTunes for your version of Windows, but you are not running the latest version of iTunes is available and it's iTunes 12.3. You must run Windows 7 at least. I'm not a Windows user, but I think 7 is newer than XP.
