iPhone screen 5 - replaced battery, black. Video card fried?

My husband iPhone 5 was not load so I replaced taxation port, which didn't work so I replaced the battery. It seems to have worked because when it is plugged in, the computer recognizes that it and he did the sound perception-, but the screen was completely black and by pressing the home screen can that Siri, so we thought that maybe the screen has been fried. I wanted to see if it was the screen that was bad, or if it was the mother board and we should just scrap it and get a new phone, so I swapped the screen with my phone. Now my screen does not work! Neither work. My screen is black but my phone still works, and I can't Siri by pressing the home screen. I guess it was because my husbands phone was always powered (but we couldn't tell) and it fried or something. I fry the video card on the motherboard? Is - something that can be fixed and if so, what parts do I need?

The iphone has no serviceable parts by the user. You have basically destroyed two phones for something which you ought to have apple do.

  • Upgrade / replacement of the video card

    Hello

I have a HP Pavilion m9000 series (9441me) and I'm having no end of trouble with the video card (GeForce 9500GS).  I heard about the HP recall and free replacement, so I took it to HP and they replaced, but shortly after, the noise started again (tapping, clicking).  I decided just to buy and install a new card and I was wondering what card would be better and compatible with my system.  I'm primarily a Linux user, so I think that Nvidia would be the card of choice.  Does anyone have any suggestions?  Thanks for your help.

    Hello

The power supply that you have installed, it will be an important factor when choosing a graphics card for your PC.  If it is at least 300W, which, since the specifications of your PC, I think it is, map on the link below is a good choice.

  • Compaq Presario S5000T P8656Q - ABA NA310 motherboard? The information that is required for the replacement of the video card.

My best friend has an ATI Radeon 9200 SE (Shader 1.0 / DX 8.0) and wants to run a program that requires the Shader 2.0 / DX 9 .0c

I'll try to find a compatible video card; I don't know if the motherboard for the NA310 of P8656Q-ABA S5000T Presario is AGP 2 x or 4 x.  I tried to find on the ' net, but no luck. Graphics (Radeon 9550 for $24 again), I found is AGP 4 x / 8 x, so I don't want to buy this if the MB is only AGP 2 x.

Also, I guess the 200/250w PSU would be sufficient for a 9550? It only uses the pc for MS Word, a bit of Youtube and 1 or 2 older games.  If not, anyone know a cheap video card which is AGP or PCI that is capable of Shader 2.0? It is for the sake of compatibility of XNA Framework.

    Thank you!

It seems that the Compaq Presario S5000T desktop computer specifications are no longer available. With this information we can only guess what this thing has AGP connector. Based on HP and Driver Downloads page software, this model uses a 'P4SD - LA motherboard". The only problem is that the 'P4SD - LA"is available in different version at least four over time... Oxford, Cobra, Stingray, Yale, etc.. The good news is that it seems all support at least an AGP 4 x connector and most support a 4 x / 8 x slot.

  • seriously damaged 6s - Apple iPhone screen will replace just the screen?

So, I got a new 64 GB iPhone 6 in September last year because Verizon forced me to upgrade my old 5 c.  I had initially purchased AppleCare + under the pretext that the policy CA + had not changed and that if damage were to occur on the screen that they would replace the screen for free.  I bought a case for the phone and before the case had arrived, I had already managed to break (we're talking a timespan 2 day of all that happens, unfortunately), and when I called to make the appointment to take in what I thought would be a free replacement, they informed me of the new fees of $79.  Well, I was pretty mad because I had already paid $100 for AC + and then pay an additional $79 seemed ridiculous because they were customer support without AC $109 + for a new screen.  The math doesn't add up, so I got a partial refund of my AC + and never got the screen fixed and lived with the crack.  Well long story short the screen is now completely broken through my 11 month old and I can't use it at all - you can barely see through the glass falling pieces, and the screen itself does not.  Can someone tell me if yes or not it simply a replacement of the screen or I have to buy a phone brand new?  And if she's going to be the last, I'm not keep the phone, I am trading it back in because we are switch from Verizon to AT & T - I can take it for a 3rd rep party to get a new screen and still get trade in value of the phone?  AT & T is simply that it is y no cracks in display political and joins the local cell phone repair, so I guess that Yes on the second part of this question.

As long as there is no additional damage on the phone itself you can get the screen replaced but if the case is damaged, you will need to use your franchise under AppleCare + as an alternative to the iPhone.

  • Video card fried?

So I have a Dell XPS Studio 1640 and then today I was watching a video froze my screen and the laptop no longer. I restarted and had weird lines that appeared from top down around the windows while loading logo. Then it froze again and the laptop monitor now refuses to start. (I see the initial screen of the DELL logo or anything like that).

I did 'J + power' and the colours of the screen seem to flash correctly without any distortion. I also did "fn + power" and after some time, I get a few beeps and caps lock flashes for the lighting of volume. No idea what they mean. I also tried to connect to a TV with an HDMI cable with no luck. I also tried to unload the techniques that I have read on the forums.

I'm assuming that my graphics card is fried (that's over 4 years). So my first question is that my motherboard has a few credits built in graphics card? If yes how I'd everything using them instead? Also how effectively confirm that my graphics card is indeed fried? Other suggestions are also welcome.

    Thank you!

You pretty well confirmed a video chip bad - there is no other GPU motherboard other than the one that failed.  You will need to replace the motherboard.

  • Tinton blue monitor / video card replacement

Hi, I have a HP Pavilion a1710n Desktop PC running Windows Vista. Recently, my screen has a blue tint to it. I tried different cables and monitor and no change. Some colors are not what they should like red are black, green or brown. I read that the video may be just bad or even worse, the motherboard. My question is, can I replace the video card and install it on one of the slots? And if I could, what advice or recommendations on the replacement of the video card? Which model would work with my tour?

    Thank you, moisesrntr

Thank you for the additional information.

Here is a card that should work for you.  It is very difficult to find a card that requires less 400W.  The one in the link requires 300W or more.  If you don't buy it, you can use it as an example of what you need.

  • Z800: Replacing a video card - Z800

    Hi all

I have a Z800 job and I'm looking for a replacement of the video card. Defunct video was a Nvidia Quadro Fx3700.

According to HP I can install only these http://h20564.www2.hp.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=emr_na-c01757644 cards, but seems to be outdated.

    So, the question is
I have to buy one of these listed video card or I'm able to use a different video card for example Nvidia QUADRO K420 PCI-E X 16 2.0 2 GB GDDR3
I'm not looking for performance but an entry-level card that let me to turn on work stations.

I thank in advance for any suggestions.

A model 2010 PC is BIOS legacy. This means that you will have to get a card that has an option to use the old BIOS.

  • Screen saver does not not Windows 7. New required video card?

I'm not able to use a screen saver, but it is related to the video card.  The error message says "this screen saver requires a new video card, or one that is compatible with Direct3D".

Someone already asked this question but not answered in the forum I have seen IE: the issue of the video card.

    Thank you!

This problem occurs even if the video card is capable of running the screen saver and is compatible with Direct3D. So, you don't have to install a video card. All you need to do is apply the hotfix provided in the link below that will correct the problem.

Error message when you set a 3D screen saver screen saver in Windows 7 or in Windows Server 2008 R2: "the screen saver can't run because it requires a more recent or Direct3D-compatible video card.

  • HP Pavilion DV9700t Ent Notebk: Likely blown video card. Need second opinion

    Hi all

Well, in case you are wondering how I do...

Back in December 2013, I clean installed my machine to win 8.1 and aired big.  No problem, he didn't like.

My computer specs are as follows:

    Purchased in June 2008

    Laptop HP Pavilion DV9700t Ent

Video: 512MB Nvidia GeForce 8600M GS

    17.0 "WSXGA + BrightView Widescreen

    Processor Intel core duo T9500

    240 GB at 7200 RPM Sata Dul HD 120GB X 2

    4 GB DDR2 Sys Mem (2 dimm)

    SN: [redacted for privacy]

    REF: KL086AV

My problem now is that I'm sure I did skip the video card.

Symptoms: I was and use the maching regularly without any problems at all.  No error or anything.

The only unusual thing is the machine heats up a LOT all around the touch pad and where you rest

your hand and the center of the machine.  It happened last autumn some time or maybe alitle

front.  Does not cause any functional problems.

In any case, I used it for stuff, when the video "flashed on/off voltage approximately 12 times, then gave an error about"

'unstable video driver', then the 'suspended' for one minute machine to do something, then it crashed and

    turned off.

When I restart the machine, I see the power light and the lights of the cylinder of the upcoming HD and

read the disks.  But nothing ever comes to the top on the screen more.  It doesn't matter how long wait.

I have to overide and turn off and get the same results with several attempts.

Can not start on disks or even enter into installation mode, because I don't see what is on the screen.

What happens, is that it seems to get a 'very' small almost imperceptible glow on the screen, so I'm

assuming that the video portion food is ok.  Simply nothing showing on the video.

I tried plugging my HDMI cable to my tv and try starting this way, but it does not work either.  I think there

to be started later in the goal for this part work.

Similarly, I thought to connect an external monitor to the "vga" (so im saying that he rectified) port, but I think that

You must configure in Setup? (not really sure)

To make a long story short, I can't see any video.

I didn't know if the video card was onboard or not with the motherboard (I bet it is), then I tried to

carefully take it apart.  I didn't want to break it, so I'm not in the distance with her.

The machine is guaranteed anyway so no matter if I try.

I had a computer outside technician come and try to watch too, and they had no more than I did.  Except

they were able to get it out more than me and they do not seem to confirm that video is "embedded."

    There are.

I have been using win 8.1 fine for 6 months, he loved, and now my video card fried.  That's ok.

My machine is less than 6 years old and out of warranty.

I wonder if there is a problem on board, if anyone has an idea of what it would cost if I send back to HP to look at, or what are the usual scenarios in this case.

I think that the replacement of the motherboard will cost several hundred dollars and since the machine is now older, it may be better spent on a more recent machine.

I am looking for a second opinion here now.

    Thanks in advance,

  • Satellite A100 - update video card

Hello. Sorry for my English, I'm studying this language byself.
I ask my request seriously. I studied for a long time patterns and the possibilities of the computer.
Support the GeForce Go 7600 512 MB of video memory is officially declared, I found necessary modules of memory and replaced on the video card. I checked all currents and voltages.

Operationally, the laptop works, but defines 256 MB memory of 512 possible. If I understand this restriction is set in the BIOS or VideoBIOS.

Please, quick like me to solve this problem, any special version can eat BIOS for the increase in video memory.

Problem is that Toshiba doesn't support these updates and doesn't offer any update of the BIOS that will help you with this.
If a person make the decision to do this update is on own risk.

You can be happy that everything runs smoothly and that there is no problem some serious with him.

  • Upgrading the video card to have both HDMI and DVI

I just bought a model 700-327c HP Envy.  I need to update my video card to have the two HDMI and DVI on the same card.  Y at - it all the features that I need to worry about replacing my existing video card?

    You are welcome.

Yes, it is certainly an option.  Here is an example of an adapter that you could use.  There are 2 ports USB 3.0 on the back i/o ports.

There are others that can add up to 6 monitors to a single computer.  I am not sure that this would not require an upgrade of the power supply, however.
