iPhoto/iTunes sync is no longer to IOS devices

I got a new iPad Air 2 last week and has had to update iTunes 12.3.1.23 to sync it with my iMac Yosemite 10.10.2 running.  iTunes sync is no longer my iPhoto Albums and events to my iPhone and iPad.  Images, faces to events etc. in the Albums of IOS are frozen to what they were before the update to iTunes.

Because the pictures of OSX does not yet support updates by batches, events, 5 levels of favorites, title poster etc. I don't want to go to El captain or OSX Photos until they do.

Is there a solution without going to the pictures and lose these features?

Make sure that iCloud library is off somewhere on your system.

Because the pictures of OSX does not yet support batch updates

For this

Events,

Never, then modify your system or finding a new application, as iPhoto is is more developed and someday a version of the operating system will come along where it won't work. You can imitate a version of events with Photo Albums.

5 levels of favorites,

I guess you mean the side stars here? You can mimic that with keywords - same apply keyboard shortcuts. Has the advantage of conforming to the standards that was not rating stars.

title displays etc.

Don't know exactly what you mean by that, but you can display under photo images.

  • iTunes syncs not news - grey broken circle indicates those who.

I have recently updated my iPhone 4 iOS 9.2.1 and use iTunes 12.3.2.35 on a PC running Windows 8.1 and I have the following problem:

When I sync iTunes new content is not added to the phone. I recently added to my iTunes library a few CDs of authentic, new purchases, first generation, a couple of audio books purchased from Audible and an album bought on iTunes. None of them will be synchronized, they appeared on the iTunes devices section, but they are shaded with a grey boken circle to the left of the name. I looked and tried most of the fixes recommended, is the most popular for (for example) deselect audio books, synchronize and then synchronize the device then re - select and Resync. It comes from all the audio books in gray, so I won't try that with my music. The only solution that I have not tried to reset the whole phone and load it again a saved profile and I hesitate to try this, unless someone who has actually done it gives me a clear indication it will work.

To summarize, the elements come from a variety of sources, including iTunes itself, they are all in the correct library alongside everything else and they play on iTunes. They just won't sync. Any help would be welcome. Thank you

The following steps should solve problems with synchronization, assuming that all the content you want in your library.

NB. A feature introduced with iOS 9 called thinning or slicing app app allows each device to download just the code and resources required by this device, resulting in smaller downloads and a better use of the storage on the device. Therefore the device is no longer the universal version of the application that can be installed on any device to transfer applications is no longer supported. You can however download past purchases to iTunes and/or to activate Automatic app downloads buy to make sure iTunes has always the apps you want on your device. Another change to the way the restorations are implemented means that all private data app is restored and apps that are not in the library are waiting for download on the iTunes Store on Wi - Fi, in a similar way to the restoration of the iCloud way works. Not having apps in your library is not the disadvantage that it once was, but you're still at risk of losing a favored app if it is removed from the Bank and you don't have a local copy.

  • problems updating iPod Touch iTunes sync and lists 9.3.2,and playback on the iPod

I updated the iPod touch and iTunes and as a first step, I lost all my library because the update iTunes but that is fixed, I had back ups. But when I synced my iPod touch, I had to delete and synchronize the contents of my iPod which has ruined all my playlists in iTunes in sync because the iPod could synchronize only half of the songs because of the error 54. Who sets, restarted the laptop and iPod but because of this, the iTunes playlist had the sync iPod songs. Fixed by re sync several times, I'm always short 4 songs on my iPod to my main playlist but some songs that appear on the iPod do not play, I can choose them but they do not play then shows no played piece. When I get a song to the playlist which works module to the top next just shows that the song only, even if it has been selected by the Shuffle Playlist button. Also some songs on the iPod is not the correct album cover, I'm guessing because of error 54 *, and these songs are often unplayable. All right back on iTunes is just the iPod for now.

The following steps below should fix things, assuming that all the content you want in your library.

(If it is not see recover your iTunes from your iPod or an iOS device).

    2. Restoration as a new device.

  • Update IOS 10 effect my itunes sync?

My update IOS 10 of my Ipad 4 last week went well.  Everything seems to be good except a shorter battery life.

Then I tried to connect my Ipad 4 to itunes (12.2.2.15) on my older Imac (OS 10.7.5).  No luck.  Got the "'an invalid response from the device" notice. "  My report on my imac USB system lists my Ipad 4 therefore it is detected by the OSX but no ipad icon present in itunes.   The previous operating system on my imac 10.7.5 worked very well and was interacting smoothly with my Ipad 9.3.4 until the upgrade.

Well, I tried everything suggested--(câbles, ports USB, OFF/ON lance, logiciel de sécurité enlevé, enlevant les éléments lockdown.plist, etc.).  No solution.

Someone wrote that the new IOS 10 requires much more OSX and Itunes software to operate.  Anyone know if this is true?  Maybe I spent hours troubleshooting something that cannot be corrected with the imac & bones 10.7.5.  Unfortunately, I'm at my physical limits.    If so, I wanted to of course that this limitation was mentioned by Apple.

I'm now trying to find a way to downgrade to 9.3.4 with the hope that all these worries will disappear.   Nothing else has worked.  Not so easy to do even this downgrade without my ipad in itunes.

Does anyone else have this problem too?  Any suggestions / solutions?

  • cannot sync with itunes 12.2.5 10 iphone ios

    Hello

I left the iOS 10 update happens on my iPhone 5.  I use an old 10.7.5 iMac to do all the backups of my iDevice.  Now, if I connect the phone to the iMac and click the button 'Trust The Computer' on the phone, iTunes 12.2.5 says "invalid response received from the device" and does not connect to it.

10 iOS devices work is no longer with iTunes 12.2.5?  It's obviously the last version that will run on OSX 10.7.5.  So I will now upgrade my computer at home because I upgraded my phone software.

    Hello

I'm afraid you will have to upgrade your OS X to 10.9.5 or newer to allow you to use iTunes 12.5.1 that supports iOS 10.

  • iTunes sync contacts to iPad fails

Recently updated for iTunes 12.4.3.1 on the MBA and iOS 9.3.4 9.3.2 on the iPad mini 2. When I try to sync the contacts between the two devices, new contacts are pulled in the MBA, but the sync to iPad fails with the following error message: "iTunes could not sync contacts to the iPad '< name >' because the synchronization server failed to synchronize the iPad." It seems to be failing at the last step in the process. The progress bar and the messages go through 5 or 6 steps successfully before this failure (I tried, I watch more than once.)

Before these updates, he worked successfully. I really don't want to Wade my contacts via iCloud. The thoughts of a user plus-expert on how to fix? Any prospect of getting the sync to work if I replace all the contacts on the iPad with those on the MBA (only one on the page to synchronize the information).

    Thank you!

    Hello silentflyer,

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support.

I understand your message that you are no longer able to sync your contacts using iTunes to your iPad mini. I know how important to manage your contacts is up to you. One step is to try to synchronize only contacts as suggested in the article below:

12 iTunes for Mac: synchronize contacts, calendars, and other information with iPod, iPhone or iPad

If you have sync issues, try only some synchronization information. For example, uncheck the boxes next to synchronization on the components of music, Photos, Podcasts and video, and try to synchronize only the news.

    Best regards

  • All iOS Devices "allow access" but will be out of sync

    Hello

    I have a 2 Air iPad & iPhone 6s, using iTunes on Windows 10.

I always sync my devices by USB. I have not synchronized each device in a few weeks. The two iOS devices running iOS 9.3.1.

For some reason any when I plug in a device, under Windows it warns me that 'Apple iPad' (or iPhone) is plugged in (not his name), and then on my iPad/iPhone, it asks if I want to "allow access". Neither the source device list appears in iTunes and therefore cannot sync my devices.

I have synced with this installation of iTunes on this computer many times before, so I'm not sure why this is happening now.
I have deleted my iTunes twice lockdown folder and restarting computer & all my devices.

    Can anyone suggest a solution?

    Thank you!

    Ash

Problem solved. The following steps are taken:

    Reinstalled the drivers:

    Plug in Device iOS

Open Manager devices (search in the start menu)

Portable devices - right click on the Apple iPhone and choose Update driver software.

Go to C:\Program Files\Common Apple Mobile Device Support and choose the Drivers folder. Click OK.

Click next to reinstall the driver pack.

    Synchronize now works as usual.

Hope this helps anyone who is going to search for.

  • iTunes Sync picture with PhotoShop elements fails after update PES

After the upgrade from Photoshop Elements version 9 to version 13, the iTunes 'Sync Photos from Photoshop Elements' feature no longer works.

Photo synchronization from the other folders works very well.  I reinstalled temporarily Elements 9 and iTunes photo sync has started working, but using photo catalogue old version 9.

Is there a fix that will get iTunes to sync with 13 elements photo albums? Are there files or registry entries that need to be re-sharp photo catalogue 13 elements?

    OK Gonçalo,

    I found the solution:

The certificate, you must convert it to P12 and enter the ipa is not the certificate of the AFN, but one you use with the profile of proviosioning!

    Keep it...!
