I have a version of the software running iPod Classic 2.0.4 of 160 GB. The iPod has not been synchronized for more than a month. I did diagnostic tests today. The iPod must be configured to synchronize automatically. If this is not the case, click Sync does not synchronize no matter what.
Select the iPod in iTunes, so that you see the iPod settings screen in the iTunes window. Along the left side of the window, in the sidebar, under settings, click on music. To the right, you will see a settings screen of the iPod music , where you tell iTunes how to sync songs to the iPod.
NOTE: All the songs on the iPod that are NOT in your iTunes library (on the computer) will be lost. If all the songs are in your iTunes library, no problem.
At the top of the window, check the box to Sync music. This enables automatic synchronization. Below, select the option to synchronize library of ensemble music, if you want to 'all' in your music library to sync. At the bottom, click on the apply button.
From now on, when you make changes to your iTunes music library (like add new songs or update a playlist), iTunes automatically updated the iPod with the same changes when you connect (or click sync , if already connected).

How do you mean that you connect it with your iPhone? This isn't something you need to do for mobile LR.
In LR Mobile, when you import photos into the application, they are synchronized via Adobe Creative Cloud. When you open LR CC on your desktop and connect using the same Adobe ID on the phone, the photos will be automatically syncs down to the office. There is no need to connect the phone to the PC.

You can run the latest version of iTunes for your version of Windows, but you are not running the latest version of iTunes is available and it's iTunes 12.3. You must run Windows 7 at least. I'm not a Windows user, but I think 7 is newer than XP.

Since your not sure what the 'others' are I would recommend you to restore your iPhone. I know that you will lose all your data, but not restore from a backup of iCloud so start as a new phone. You can back up your choice and if necessary to write all your contacts on a sheet of paper and then add hide them. Depending on the severity, you want that storage
