For most MP3 players that can and will be able to be synced to WMP - iPod syncs not natively for Windows.

Set the MP3 MTP Mode for WMP sync - mode MSC to treat the MP3 as a reader.
(Now its set to MSC)<-- this="" is="" for="" mp3="" in="" general="" and="" ipod="" will="" not="" usually="">

Your MP3 player should have 2 settings - MSC which should allow the player to be used as an external symbol
drive and PSG that is the parameter to use to sync with WMP. Remove the MP3 and charge it the
computer. Change the MP3 in MTP mode - it power off and plug it in.

  • Mobile gamepad XBOX 360 not recognized when connected to a Windows 7 64 bit Home Premium computer USB ports

Very well - so a few days ago (Saturday ~ 2) (25. 2012) I connected to my XBOX 360 (Wired) controller on my Toshiba Satellite L655 computer laptop with Windows 7 ~ Home Premium 64-Bit. To my surprise, a Notification bubble popped up from the taskbar, saying that the "unrecognized USB device. It has malfunctioned. "

Naturally, I took, waited a few seconds, and then reconnect the USB key. The same message has popped up. Now, I was angry. Repeatedly, I took and reconnected it all a few seconds until that FINALLY the 4 green lights around the button Guide everything illuminated and then back except the one on the upper left, which was the way it should have been.
I went to the control panel and clicked on the 360 controller to see if he had any input. Nope.
I pulled out once more, has waited a while and plugged in. No, lucky. The same thing happened again. The Notification bubble came, all 4 green lights on and then all four of them died. I don't know what happened.
When I plugged the controller to the laptop the FIRST FULL TIME, he installed all necessary drivers in less than a minute and I was on my way. Every time after that, I have taken the controller into the USB Port and began to play. Now all the time, that is to say that it cannot recognize the controller?
I've tried everything, even a system restore. Nothing did. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers for a few minutes, there was an entry of the controller, then he went just blank.
I need this controller in order to play my racing games, seeing the keyboard control just aren't the best. I don't know what the problem is, but I wish I had a solution A.S.A.P. Please, Microsoft, please. Help me!

I had the same problem, cannot find a solution that worked everywhere, including Microsoft support forums.

About to give up, I remembered the old cure NDA, shaped, "why not?"  I've tried everything else. "So I've disconnected everything on the gamepad, blew in every connection and reconnected everything, by ensuring that the connections were tight.

It has worked perfectly since then.

  • iPhone not charging when connected to the USB power adapter

Hello. I have a 5 s iPhone that I bought used a few months ago. It works very well.

Normally I charge it by connecting it to my Mac via a USB cable. Last night, I tried to recharge by connecting Apple USB power (also called a power outlet) adapter, which plugs into the wall, supplied with the phone. (Here's a link to the adapter if you are not sure what I'm talking about:.) When I connect the iPhone to the power adapter, I saw that the phone is charging - there was the small icon representing a lightning bolt near the battery of the iPhone.

However, when I woke up in the morning, the iPhone has been charged only 47%. I don't remember what the percentage was when I plugged into the power supply last night, but I don't think that the phone at that time was much less.

So I wonder: nobody knows what went wrong? Is there a way to make sure that the phone is loaded with the adapter?

    Thank you!

    M

If there is a symbol of bolt of lightning next to the battery icon, then the phone should be in charge.  If it is charging a single source, but not another, then the problem is with the unpaid source.  Try another adapter to confirm.

  • How will I know if my mini ipod 4th generation is in charge? The blinking not solid.

How will I know if my Mini Ipod 4th generation is in charge.

I plugged it in - the blinking not solid.

It's an iPod shuffle, right?  Small place with design clip - on and no screen...

Blinking light means DO NOT DISCONNECT, because the iPod disk is mounted by the system.  EJECT iPod (in iTunes) before physically disconnect the iPod.  If you eject , but leave it connected, the light becomes solid.  (Yellow or green) light means OK TO DISCONNECT.  When it is yellow, the battery charge.  When it is green, the battery is fully charged.

NOTE: In the normal conditions of use, flashing light is always yellow; It's supposed to be a warning.  It does not indicate the State of the battery; never it flashes green.

  • We get the popup "USB device not recognized", when nothing is connected.

I connected the USB cord to transfer information from your old phone to new phone via Itunes.  Since that time that I keep getting a pop up message that says: device not recognized USB, the defective device, windows does not recognize.  Nothing is plugged in, but message appears every few seconds.  How can I get him to stop?

    Hello

It seems that you are getting the popup "USB device not recognized", when nothing is connected.

What is the brand and model of your computer?

I suggest to uninstall the USB controllers and check if you get the context menu.

Method 1: Remove and reinstall all USB controllers

    a. clickStart, type devmgmt.msc in the start search box and press ENTER.

    b. expandBus USB controllers.

    c. right-click on each device under theBus USB controllers node and then click Uninstall to remove them one at a time.

    d. restart the computer, and windows will install the rear USB drivers.

If reinstalling USB host controllers fails to resolve the issue, go to method 2.

Method 2: See the procedure suggested by johnkelly46 responded on October 26, 2009, from this link.

    Hello pamelafromsonora,

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support.

According to your post, I see that your new iPod nano is not recognized by iTunes on your Windows PC, and you cannot scroll through the settings of the clock on your iPod. I know how it is important to ensure that you can connect your iPod to your computer/iTunes and use all the features. I'll be more than happy to help you with this.

Use the article If iTunes does not your iPad, iPhone or iPod and follow these steps to see if iTunes recognizes the device, specifically these sections:

When iTunes on your computer doesn't recognize not the connected device, follow these steps. Try again after each step:

    2. Check that you have the latest version of the software on your Mac or your Windows PC.
    3. Make sure that your device is turned on.
    4. If you see a trust this computer alert, unlock your device and press trust. If you still see the alert, you may need to reset your lockdown folder.
    5. Unplug all accessories USB from your computer except for your device. Try every USB port to see if it works. Then try another USB Apple cable.
    6. Restart your computer and your iPhone, iPad or iPod.
    7. To see if your device needs service, try another computer. If you have the same problem again, contact The Apple support.

If you are using a Windows PC
