iPod 5 lights...

Yesterday, it was perfectly fine until last night. It began to die very quickly and would not load for hours. I left that it plugged in all night last night and he says he is in charge, but I doubt that it is. I held the home button and the power set button a bunch, but it will only insofar as the apple logo, then say its still in charge. I need to know if it'S my ipod which is broken, or maybe the charger? Help, please...

I took it to the apple store today and they just said that I have to buy another. that I expected... I need help. I have a lot of valuable information on the iPod. LARGE NUMBER. Any Suggestions? • That means a green light flashing on iPod Shuffle 4th Gen?

When you listen to songs on my iPod Shuffle 4th gen, the LED flashes green (connected to the helmet, not the USB port on the computer).  I thought it was supposed to stay green. What does a flashing green light?  Thank you.

When you play the shuffle, the light usually indicates the level of battery charge.  Green , fresh strong (I think that more than 25%).  He goes to the orangeand then Red (reduced rate).  While playing songs, he should not stay ON or flashes continuously, unless you press the control buttons.

  • I can't get my iPod to charge, it turns on, but the red light flashes once

My iPod will not charge.  I had it plugged in for more than 3 hours and still not a red flashing light once and then that turns off.

The battery can be worn out and unable to hold a charge when it is disconnected from the power supply.  How old is your shuffle?

When you are connected to the power, is light the shuffle ON?  If WE, is it blinks or is it solid (not flashing)?  If solid, what color?

If it is a brand new 4th generation iPod shuffle you are using for the first time, make sure that the USB docking cable plug is fully inserted into the headphone jack of the shuffle, as indicated in the present document

iPod shuffle (4th generation): not seen in iTunes - Apple Support

  • my ipod does not turn. When I put on his orange light continues to blink.

My Ipod shuffle is not coming. When I put on the pricing still show the orange light flashing continuously.

Flashing light (by itself) does not indicate that a problem.  Blinking light means "do not disconnect - eject the iPod before disconnecting."  It shows there is a connection between the shuffle and computer data.

Are you using a Mac or a Windows PC?  If Windows, which version (including 32-bit or 64-bit)?

Hai, my ipod shuffle when it is connected with the computer, it flashes orange light.  If I remove without light and music.  Even I kept connected all day with my laptop for charging.  But without success.  Is it possible to change the battery?

If the shuffle still appears in iTunes when you connect, you can try to do a restore using iTunes, where the cause is a software problem.

Use iTunes on your Mac or PC to restore your iPhone, iPad or iPod settings - Apple Support

If the problem reoccurs after the restoration, it's probably a battery worn.  Need soldering skills to replace yourself, and iPod shuffle (with the exception of the 1st generation) is very small.  Not easy to work on.  This web site has repair guides

    https://www.iFixit.com/device/iPod_Shuffle

and parts are available from sources like eBay.

Apple 'serve' the shuffle, if it's the 4th gen (current type).  Rather than change the battery of your device, you get a replacement unit.  According to this document, out-of-warranty fees are $39

Pricing of the Service - The Apple iPod Support

NOTE: If your shuffle is less than one year of the date of purchase, it is under warranty.

The retail price of a brand new 4th gen iPod shuffle, with new headphones, docking cable and warranty of one year is $ 49.

  • My iPod 5 does not light

My 2 year old, iPod touch 5th generation is dead and now, it's not return back. He died a few months ago and I have tried everything to get back on. My home button is broken, and every time I press and hold the power button, logo lights up for about 10 seconds, and then goes away. I tried to charge with the charger of my iPhone, iPad charger and a charger plugged into a computer. It has not been saved for some time, and he has a lot of photos and videos that I would not loose. Can someone please tell me if there is a way to fix it, or if I can get it fixed in an Apple store? Or if there is a way to simply take the memory of the iPod itself?

You could pay for a service of the battery.  I would not post it for good service via the website or by calling Apple, rather than take in your Apple Store.  There, they will be able to tell you if they could replace the battery or not, while maintaining your data. • New Ipod Touch no longer lights

My daughter received a 32 gb iPod Touch for Christmas.  It was a gift from her grandparents, and I did not keep the original packaging.  It was as a champion of work until today.  It does at all.  I thought the battery was dead and tried to load.  Nothing. Connected to the computer and nothing.  A ran the diagnosis via iTunes, and it shows no device recognized.  Now what?  I'm worried, that I do not have a warranty claim because of not having registered the device & or throw the original packaging.  We only had this unit since December 26.  This is the newest model of the gen 6.  I think that it is up to date on software, or at least not far behind. Advice?  I can take it to the Apple store?

    Thank you very much!

As a final step, try recovery mode. Turn off your unit, then plug it to your computer with the hold home button. Hold down Home button until you see the logo on the screen of your iPhone iTunes. After that on your computer, you should see the iTunes window saying that your iPhone needs to be restored to factory settings. Click Restore.
