iPod doesn't connect to iTunes

I got an iPod 6 for Christmas and it was very good connection to iTunes and I had synced it etc. Last week, he was not connecting to iTunes, it will charge when I plug it to my laptop. However, iTunes automatically load more and my iPod is not in the corner, so I can't transfer any music or sync my iPod right now. I tried to uninstall and reinstall again, but that has not worked.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you! X

Place your iOS device into Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

  • iPod doesn't connect to PC

Hey ya'll. Hope you can help me stop climbing the wall in frustration.

I have a hand iPod Classic from my cousin, who has received as a gift, unwanted sound. It has especially been sitting in her closet for years - it is PowerOn hours only amounted to 139, and about 39 of them were mine since I got it two weeks ago.

Now when I first had and plugged into my laptop HP, running Windows 7, there were a few problems with him not wanting to go back to the computer. Eventually, however, something on my unplugging and reconnecting/resetting/cursing worked and synchronize. Everything is good.

Today I have a new album to add. And, boy, it wants to connect to the PC . Is in him plugging has absolutely no effect whether it is, or it says "Connected" but then, after about seven seconds, it automatically disconnects (30 + times I tried to connect, this happened maybe 3 times.) The rest of the time it's just nada). Once or twice, it says "connected", but my computer says that it is not found and the sound "disconnected materials" exploded and everything. The only time my computer always told I am train to connect the iPod to my computer is when I restart the iPod when it is connected. Then my computer has a baby whale and blinks and says that the USB device is not recognized. Otherwise, I might as well try to myself in gear for all reviews of my computer takes.

    I tried

To restart the iPod with the Menu, the method of the Select button. Many, times. Unplugged, plugged, on his head, appoint you. Nothing works.

To restart my computer. Several times.

    * Do both of the above at the same time.

    * Put the iPod in disk mode. The first time - and only the first time - I did, he showed up, only to disconnect automatically as soon as I tried to click on it to do something.

    * Testing equipment my iPod. There is no waiting for sectors or reallocations (0).

    * Run a self test on my iPod. Everything came back clear.

    * Connect a different iPod/iPhone. I tried two different iPod and an iPhone, and both work very well.

    * Connect with another USB cable.

    * Reinstall my iTunes. (Running 11.1.3.8 because internet problems means since the uninstall, I had to go back to a slightly older model of iTunes.)

I'm about to tear my hair out. Because not only does mean that my music can never be updated again in his life, it load will now be one hellava problems. Please, please, please let someone say they have a way to solve this?

In also spent more than three hours on thephone to the Apple Support and no further... can someone help me with this problem?

Looks like you have to try to put the iPod in recovery mode. If you can't do that, then the more likely iPod must be repaired.

  • Why used my iphone 6 connect to itunes

I don't think that this has nothing to do with my computer. I need to update my iPhone to iOS 9.3.3. but it will not update on its own and it doesn't connect to iTunes on my computer either. My phone says I have 0 bytes of storage on the left which is impossible because I deleted more than half the apps that I had to get more storage. I went from 1.9 MB of photos to 900MB. As I was deleting photos and apps my storage space is down and now says that I used all my storage but there is no since. I don't know what to do from here.

Looks like two separate issues. Difficult to follow.

If iTunes does not recognize your iPhone, iPad or iPod - Apple Support

Try a forced reboot. Hold down the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons at the same time for about 15 seconds, until the Apple logo appears. You won't lose anything.

If a force restart does not help, try a system restore. First save your device via iTunes. Also import your photos on your computer and copy all the data if possible. Reconstruction of the support first test and test. If this does not help, you may need to restore as a new and reconfigure from scratch as the backup may be damaged. It is important to have your photos and your saved data separately from the backup. Here are the steps for a restoration:

  • 6 iPhone connect to iTunes

I have a fairly new iPhone 6 which doesn't connect to iTunes when plugged into my Macbook. The pop-up message says this iphone requires a version update of iTunes and then she ordered me to go to itunes.com to download the update. The problem is that I've already updated! The IOS on my phone is up to date, itunes is up to date and my OS indicates no new software updates. The macbook is running 10.6.8 and my old iphone 6 and connects to iTunes fine. What happens here? Any ideas?

The update is not just for iTunes. It is not possible to sync an iPhone on a Mac 10.6.8.

Sync with iTunes on a Mac or a PC requires:

    • Mac OS X v10.8.5 or later

Instead of trying to install v10.8.5, see if your Mac can run the latest available OS X El Capitan v10.11 > update of OS X El Capitan - Apple Support

You would then have the latest version of iTunes installed in order to connect your iPhone to iTunes.

  • IPad connects to Itunes on Mac

IPad2 works very slowly.  Is advisable to back up and restore via Itunes on Mac.

After erasing everything that I reloaded the software on the Ipad, but it doesn't connect to Itunes on Mac.

He returns with "iPad 'IPad of Keith' cannot be used because it requires a newer version of iTunes. Go to www.itunes.com to download the latest version of iTunes. " I think I have the latest version of all Mac and Ipad and Itunes.

    Any help appreciated.

If your Mac is on OS X 10.6.8 as your slogan says, you need to update, iOS 9.3.2 requires OS X + 10.8.5 on your Mac and iTunes 12.4 +.

My ipod 6 and ipod 5th generation connect to itunes. I restarted my computer portable ipod and iphone, as well as update the driver but it still isn't recognizing the devices so I am unable to sync.

If your iOS device does not appear in iTunes, try the following:

    5. Click Browse my computer for driver software

    7. Click on let me pick from a list of drivers for devices on my computer
    8. Click on Apple Mobile Device USB Driver

To step 3 above, open the Device Manager. Expand one of the articles that are listed.

    • USB Bus controllers

Plug in the appliance. You should hear the telltale Windows sound device connection and a Division must acquire a new entry. This should be your device. It cannot be labelled properly at this point. If you do not hear a suspicious noise cable damaged.

Or try If iTunes does not your iPad, iPhone or iPod - Apple Support Apple version of the above opinion.

If not try a complete tear down and rebuild iTunes in accordance with the resolution of the problems with iTunes for Windows updates. 64-bit users might also try the build replacing iTunes for Windows (64-bit-for older video cards) which is sometimes a useful workaround.

Or try to go back to the last version of iTunes that has worked for you. See the programs installation of iTunes to download links. If you roll back to 12.4.0.119 to 12.3.3.17 or 12.3.2.35, for example, then you will also need restore the database of the library in the manner described in the empty/corrupted after upgrade/crash iTunes library. my ipod displays 'do not disconnect' for half an hour already, but my itune cannot always detect my ipod (as itune will pop up once I have connected my ipod normally).

My iPod Touch will not connect to iTunes. I made sure I have the latest software updates on the iPod and iTunes and thought this would fix the problem, but iTunes still does not recognize my iPod because it never appears on the Panel for me to sync things for her, etc.

    HI angelaruth,

I'm also having the same problem. Before you continue you have to check first with the support? They would first make a remote control for your computer and your guide through the process. Long story short, I can not connect with my Apple iPod nano and my laptop gamer is brand new. But the strange thing, it works perfectly a month ago. The technology Apple suggested I take my laptop and I have a TI guy look which costs money. Honestly, I don't think it's my phone. I'm looking for this. I hope you have better luck. But check first with Apple technology.
