IPod Nano 7th gen... podcasts don't sync to itunes. synchronization for podcast is on... im confused. THX!

When you say "synchronization for podcast is on", have you done the following...?  Select the iPod in iTunes (click on its button on the device on the horizontal bar) to show its settings screen in the iTunes window.  The side left (in the sidebar), under settings, click Podcasts.  Right, Podcasts from iPod settings screen.  If the checkbox for synchronize Podcasts is not checked, check it.  Activates the automatic synchronization of podcasts.  Set up this form as you wish, to tell how to synchronize episodes of the podcast to iTunes and click apply.

If sync Podcasts has been already verified, describe how you have the rest of the screen of the iPod Podcasts settings put in place (or include a screenshot of it).

  • How to sync iTunes movies on an iPod Nano 7th Gen?

    Hi, I'm Sam.

I have an iPod Nano 7th Gen (software: version 1.1.1)

I have iTunes (software: worm 12.3.2) on a HP Pavilion 15 laptop with Windows 10.

I can sync my iTunes library of songs (imported CDs and downloaded iTunes) on my iPod.

    BUT

I can't synchronize iTunes downloaded movies on my iPod.

To try to get movies to sync my iPod I have:

-In the main movie section of my iTunes (not in iPod movies or sections of the iTunes Store), I clicked on a movie and the quality of the video: on the downloaded movies, there are only two options (by default (HD 1080 p) and high definition (720 p)) while others bought but not downloaded movies are the first two options as well as two more [Standard (SD) and high definition (1080 p)].

When I try to sync a movie downloaded to my iPod with one of the first two options of quality Video (by default (HD 1080 p) and high definition (720 p)) I get this message:

'FILM' was not copied because video high quality SD is not compatible with the iPod "MY IPOD".

-In preferences, store preferences. I checked the box that says 'download high-quality SD video '. Before deleting all of my library and the re - movies download.

When you try to synchronize any re-downloaded movies, with video quality settings, I get the same message as shown above.

-The only other thing I tried (which others have suggested) is to select the movie, and then click file - create a new Version - create iPod or iPhone version. Select the movie by clicking on it, then the steps or by clicking it and then pressing Alt and then following the steps.

However when I tried to do I can not click "create iPod or iPhone version" because it is grayed out and cannot be clicked.

If anyone has other ideas/improvements on ideas on how to get movies from iTunes on an iPod nano GEN 7 please let me know.

If this can help all the movies I've tried are Star Wars Revenge of the Sith, Forrest Gump and Top Gun.

You cannot use the "Create iPod or iPhone version" command if the movie (or TV show or music video) is a purchase on iTunes Store, because the video has DRM (copy protection), as required by the content producers.  That is why the command is grayed out.

Try going to the screen purchased in iTunes (click bought along the right side of the main screen of iTunes Store).  On the screen that is purchased for films, in the lower right corner of the window, there is a check box for Download HD when available.  Uncheck the box and find movies.  If there is a cloud for movies to download, download it.  When only the HD version is currently stored on your computer, you should get the SD version.

iTunes might as well of both HD and SD of a movie bought in his library at the same time.  They are not presented separately, but he will say 'HD - SD"next to the name of the movie in the library list, if it has both.  Most of the SD movies should load and play on an iPod nano.

  • iPod nano 7th generation Windows 10 not connect to itunes

My iTunes connect is more my recently purchased iPod Nano 7th Gen. I followed all the instructions on the troubleshooting page, but nothing has worked. When I plug it in, connect to iTunes, but then a message appears saying that it is not recognized and disconnects. I tried 4 flashes different cords, restarted my computer several times, reinstalled iTunes 4 times and restored my iPod 5 or 6 times. I use Windows 10. If anyone can help?

    HI angelaruth,

I'm also having the same problem. Before you continue you have to check first with the support? They would first make a remote control for your computer and your guide through the process. Long story short, I can not connect with my Apple iPod nano and my laptop gamer is brand new. But the strange thing, it works perfectly a month ago. The technology Apple suggested I take my laptop and I have a TI guy look which costs money. Honestly, I don't think it's my phone. I'm looking for this. I hope you have better luck. But check first with Apple technology.

  • iPod nano 7th gen swipe questions

So I've recently updated the software on my ipod nano (7th generation).  I wish I hadn't.  Everything I had before worked fine, but I thought it would be easier to reformat, updated software, and consequently to the fitness, loading podcasts less (and more recent).  Unfortunately, it takes now several taps to make appear the podcasts, music, etc (and now, a box appears around each option before you can select, for no apparent reason) and most important, I can do is no longer the progress bar for each stroke of the podcast, if I want to skip the part from left to right, or all of the podcast.   Very annoying.  If someone else encountered these problems and someone at - it a 'fix '?

Looks like you have accessibility features enabled for a reason any.  Take a look at the user guide

  • IPod Nano 7th Gen: a track and then stop?

I searched a lot about this issue and the majority of responses either query should do, or give answers about the Shuffle or repeat.

My iPod Nano 5th generation used to do this - the 7th generation does not work.

Specifically, I want to play a Podcast, and then have it stop at the end.

I don't want to repeat the same podcast, I want him to stop.

I've seen suggestions on the creation of individual playlists for each song or podcast - much too tedious.

    Any thoughts?

    Ta

To be in a container, such as a container of songs, albums, playlists, you have to consider everything on your iPod.  You can have it play something only once, but it will move to the next item in the container to play by default once it's done.  That's why people suggested using a playlist with only one point in it.

Now I don't know if you tried to make a playlist on the fly or not, but the iPod Nano is able to do.  Just go to your playlists on your Nano section and scroll to the top of the screen.  It will allow you to create a new playlist ("add") or edit an existing ("").  Just select Add, then select your content.  You can then enter this playlist and clear the list and reuse for any other content that you want to listen only once, so it is not that much more involved than the selection of something to play on the fly, now, only he stops once done, unlike other processes.

  • IPod Nano 7th Gen does not connect to my laptop

I can connect my iPod to my old laptop but the laptop is dying quickly. I'm trying to connect my iPod to my new laptop computer and it instantly disconnects. I tried to uninstall Itunes and all the stuff on the help page provides than itunes. I don't think it's a problem with itunes, it takes my laptop. I have attached a picture for help. The "ADMINSTRAT" folder disappears after 2 seconds and then disconnects my ipod completely. (I tried several different USB leads and all USB ports)

If you have already tried to uninstall iTunes, you must follow this procedure to completely remove iTunes and related software components

Remove and reinstall iTunes and software for Windows 7 and later versions - Apple Support components

Don't forget to uninstall the different components in the exact order shown.  Then install the latest version of iTunes from Apple download

    https://www.Apple.com/iTunes/

Also, if your old laptop, which has all your iTunes data, is "dying", you must backup and transfer your iTunes library full to the new computer laptop.  The procedure is to copy your iTunes (after the consolidation of your iTunes data) on an external drive folder, and then replace the portable iTunes on the new computer folder with the folder iTunes of the old laptop (from the external drive).  This document provides full details

  • iPod Nano 7th Gen will not be running

I was listening to just music and disable bluetooth speaker that I was listening to music on. So when I go to see my iPod, I notice it lights. I've tried everything. Now all buttons at the same time, hold the "home" button and lock button and still nothing. Help, please! I already had problems with the iPod before. I don't want to lose all my music to the iPod AGAIN! My iPod is a 2012 model if that helps. Please help!

You must keep all your songs stored in your iTunes library, on your computer.  Then, even if your iPod is lost or breaks, you will not lose your music.  (And then, back up your iTunes library on the computer database, so you will not lose your music, even if your computer breaks or needs to be deleted.)

What happens when you connect it to the USB on your computer?  If nothing appears on the screen of the iPod?  If so, what appears on the screen of the iPod?

I set the volume limit lock, but it does not work, I can always change the volume manually even if I locked the volume limit.  How to overcome this problem?  I really need to set limit volume for my daughter.

  • How can I make my iPod Nano (7th generation) read albums in the correct order?

I just bought a new Ipod Nano (7th generation) and synchronized my entire library.

Now I want to listen to an album, but it seems that this system is unable to sort the pieces by number.

Some are in good order, while other aren´t and when you listen to an album, it's really the most

annoying as I ve ever had with any mp3 player.

I looked for a possible system behind this and everything that I could find was, which instead of the title number the

titles are sorted by add date. Is it possible to fix it?

In addition, a way to contact support directly without having to CALL them?

Sorry, but with a system that I had to pay € 150, this shouldn´t certainly happen...

For a general context, see grouping of tracks in albums . Albums play in the wrong order when metadata numbers or sort of disk are set inconsistently. Playlists in iTunes can also be set to play in a different order than shown that can sometimes be confusing. Album by artist upward is usually the most sensitive order and can be copied to the reading order by right-clicking on the name of the playlist in the sidebar once you have set up.

  • When you try to restore my iPod nano 7th generation what it asks for a password how to find / get around it?

MY 7th generation nano has his music to wipe and start again.  I tried to restore it in the air several times because it won't let me not in reason to ask for a password to allow this. the password is not my iTunes password. can anyone help? I use an iMac.

Once the iPod appears in iTunes, it shouldn't be a problem with a password for an iPod nano 7th generation.  If you see a window pop up asking for a password, I think that it is a request for authorization from the Mac OS.  It is not directly related to the iPod or iTunes.  He asks your password for the account of the user admin (for Mac), as when you install the new software.

  • How can I get my songs Apple music on my iPod Nano? I pay $15 a month for the service and cannot listen to songs on my iPod Nano 7th generation.

I pay $15 a month for the service of music and cannot hear the songs on my iPod Nano 7th generation. Someone must have found a way around this now? I might as well sell my iPod, because I'm not paying for the song in iTunes as well.

You can not.  Downloads music from Apple are written songs, does not belong to him. Apple music requires an Internet connection, so that the status of your subscription can be verified (as required by the content producers).  The only iPod that can use music Apple's iPod touch, because there Internet by Wi - Fi.
