IPOD Touch - not all songs play without WIFI?

Synchronize all my songs to our new IPOD touch by connecting IPOD to computer/ITunes, try to understand why some songs will play without WIFI and some (those who play will not have the little icon of the Ipod).  I thought he had to do if the song was purchased on ITunes, but not true.  I click on the button "Icloud", he turns to a circle with a button, as it's the download, but then it stops 1/2 way through.

Try the following steps:

On your computer:

  1. If you registered for the Apple's music, you can activate the library music iCloud.
  2. Click on the iTunes menu > Preferences.
  3. Scroll down and check the "show Apple music and iCloud music library check boxes.
  4. Click OK.
  5. Select all the pieces and add them to your library of music to iCloud.
  6. Once songs have been added to your iCloud music library, you can activate iCloud library of music on your iPod touch.
  7. On your iPod touch, tap Settings > music.
  8. Scroll down and tap on iCloud music library.
  9. A dialog box appears asking you if you want to murge your local and libraries of clouds or replace the library of your iPod with the library of cloud.
  10. Click on replace.

To download songs:

  1. Open the music application.
  2. Press the tab my music at the bottom of your screen.
  3. Choose the songs, artists, albums and genres you want to download.
  4. Songs, albums, artists and genres are in different categories.
  5. Slide downwards on each song, artist or album and click more.
  6. A dialog box appears on your screen.
  7. Click on download.
  8. Restart iTunes. Quit iTunes, then open it again.
  9. Restart your iPod touch if necessary.

Good luck!

(If it isn't see recover your iTunes from your iPod or an iOS device)

    1. Backup device.
    2. Restoration as a new device.
    3. Restore the backup that you made earlier.

NB. A feature introduced with iOS 9 called thinning or slicing app app allows each device to download just the code and resources required by this device, resulting in smaller downloads and a better use of the storage on the device. Therefore the device is no longer the universal version of the application that can be installed on any device to transfer applications is no longer supported. I hope that Apple will bring some changes to how it works, but in the meantime, you can download past purchases from iTunes or activate the automatic shopping app downloads to ensure that iTunes has always the apps you want on your device. As long as you make sure that all of the apps are present and updates in iTunes before you attempt a restore there should be no loss of data. I cannot confirm, but it seems a way to recent update all data are restored and apps that are not in the library are waiting to download from the iTunes Store over Wi - Fi, in a similar way to the restoration of the iCloud way works.

  • The time on my Ipod will not change when its coastline, Wifi disconnects randomly, screen goes green and red and restart full iPod.

OK so this problem started about two days ago. I noticed that my time was off so I went to settings > General > Date and time. I changed the hour correctly but when I locked it and got out of her for a few minutes, it was always the same when I changed it. For example: this morning, back at the exact time that was at 10:41 20 minutes later, I changed my time and it was still stuck at 10:41 time will work properly if I am constantly on my IPod and do not block. I really need to use the alarm when I wake up every morning! I've tried everything to fix it, but nothing seems to work. Reset my IPod do not even help.

This issue has also started two days ago. I noticed that the wifi on my IPod touch 5th generation cut off while an application is open, but when I close it then connects back. It is only on my IPod, but not my IPad. It's pretty boring. I also tried to reset my router but it always disconnects.

The latest happened just yesterday. Again, I've tried my time is correctly set when all of a sudden half top of my screen turns red and turns green half lower. The screen then goes to black and my entire iPod restarts.

Thank you very much for the help. :-)

  • Why can I not listen to music without wifi on my new ipod touch.

I'm frustrated that I went out and bought a new ipod because that my last one broke, and I can't understand why I can't listen to my songs on it withought be connected to WIFI...

    Thank you!

You use an Apple music subscription or is this music that you own and synchronize was to the iPod via iTunes? If his music Apple so won't make music available for listening offline by downloading the songs?

If you have not connected to wifi in a while Apple music may require a temporary connection to validate that your subscription is still active, before he'll play songs downloaded offline. I don't know exactly how many times he needs to do this, but on my iPhone I can still play my downloaded music to Apple if I pass the iPhone in airplane mode.

  • Playlist from iTunes will sync to the iPhone, but not all songs present themselves

I recently synced my iPhone to my computer for the first time.  I have a number of playlists on my phone, and a combination of music ripped from my CDs and music downloaded from the iTunes Store.

After synchronization, all the playlists and the music seems fine on my computer.  But now on my iPhone my playlists are absent songs!  All the playlists are there, missing just the songs.  And it looks like strangely the songs I downloaded from the iTunes store are those missing.

Back on my computer, iTunes displays playlists normally, with all the songs.  So, essentially the playlists on my iTunes on my computer are distinguished by the playlists on my iPhone.

All the downloaded songs are on my iPhone.  I can find the songs individually and play them fine.  They are just in the playlists.

    Any ideas?

maybe try to download songs directly from the iTunes store on your iOS device?

    Hi Rachel,

    Thanks for your help.

I tried it & it didn't work but I was checking other messages on media players & I found this.

    Uninstall the Media Player

    Step 1

    Uninstalling Windows Media Player:
    1. go to start and in the search type "Turn Windows willing or not.
    2. click on "Turn Windows features on or off".
    3. browse the features of media (develop) and uncheck the brand in the face of Windows Media Player.
    4 restart the computer

    Step 2

    Reinstall Windows Media Player:
    1. go to start and in the search type "Turn Windows willing or not.
    2. click on "Turn Windows features on or off".
    3. browse the features of media (develop) and place a check mark in front of the Windows Media Player.
    4 restart the computer.

I've tried it & it worked. Initially, there was no change so I've let it go & 10 min later that everything was back to normal. It must have reset the media player. I wish I could find this post once again to thank :)

  • Windows Media Player 12 does not all songs.

    Hey, guys!

I have a little problem. I have a total of 4 700 songs on my computer. The Windows media player 12, however, only we add 1 230 my library. I just had to launch a song directly from Windows Explorer, because it is not present in the Media Player Library. This song is located in the My Music folder, which is supposed to be identifiable my Media Player. It is also in the music library of Win7, but not in the Media Player library... Any suggestions?

    Thank you

    Eugene.

m00cher, try the following steps to reset the media library:

    -Restart the PC.
-Go to start - run, type services.msc and press ENTER. In Services, locate the Windows Media Player Network Sharing Service . If its status is started , double-click the service, and then click stop .
-Click Start, type %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft in the search field and press ENTER. This folder opens in Windows Explorer.
-In this folder, rename the folder Media Player as Old Media Player . If you do not see the folder, then it is probably hidden. Set Explorer to view the hidden files and folders and show protected system files.
-Launch WMP, your library will have been reset and will be rebuilt. Check if the problem persists.

  • iPod touch 4g can not find wifi 802.11n

If I put my 723v Speedport router to 802. 11A / n wifi only, my ipod touch 4 g can't find the network.

(Worked well for the ipod when the router is configured for 802.11b/g/n, but has been annoyingly slow on my Macbook Air of 2012 then)

I understand that the ipod touch 4g supports the standard right, wifi-n? So why he can not find the router when the value of a/d only?

801.11n can be used on the band of 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz band, but 11n is not necessary to support the two bands simultaneously.

Setting your router to 802. 11A / n (apparently) means, use only 5 GHz band with support from 11A and 11n.

    (11A uses 5 GHz only)

However, iPod touch 4G can only use 11 b/g/n on the 2.4 GHz band. He can't see 5 GHz Wi - Fi signal.

    (11b and 11g use 2.4 GHz only)

    Hey Msdefied,

I understand that you have a problem with your iPod touch not appearing is not in iTunes. Let's go over some additional troubleshooting to get this sorted out.

I would start by reset lock folder on your PC as well as to try cables and different ports if you have access to your PC. Take a look at the article below to continue what you have already started to get this to work for you.
