    Hi guys,.

I have a Netgear R7300 come with DST. However, I can't use IPTV, I also do the guide how to use IPTV on the Netgear site, but it could not work. Could you please help me to implement R7300 to use IPTV to ISPS.

  • E4200 - Wireless die channels 2,4 / 5 GHz when I watch IPTV.

The E4200 work very well, iphone 3gs / s galaxy on channels 2,4 ghz and the Sony Vaio on the 5 GHz channel.  I have a satellite/iptv receiver connected to the E4200.  Whenever I have switch from satellite to IPTV channel, stream of the channel of the TV is fine but I lose channels wireless on the E4200, until I have restart the router.

I placed a 5 port gigabit switch between my Internet (100 MB Fast Ethernet) and the E4200 and plugged the E4200 and IPTV receiver directly in the gigabit 5 switch ports.  When I'm connected like that IPTV and E4200 wireless are fine and don't give up.

I am running the latest firmware 1.0.02 and I do not use media/usb port.

    Thanks for the link.

I replaced the switch Gigabit 5 port Netgear that I had previously suspended behind the E4200 with a Linksys SE2800 switch and it seems to be very good at the moment.   I have the pc, iptv, the nas connected to the SE2800 and the SE2800 plugged into the E4200.  IPTV and the wireless is working, no abandonment so far.

I don't know what was really going on, perhaps the netgear switch is going bad and causing problems with the E4200.  Has either been thanks for your help reloving this problem.

My vista kept getting this error when I run the program.

    Can anyone help?

My Pc is currently running Vista edition with Service Pack 2 installed.

The processor of my PC is Intel Q2800 CPU Quad Core @ 2.33 Ghz

Since a Google for "iptv.exe" brings up links indicating that the file is malware, your computer is not clean or the malware has been removed without removing the call for the program to start. I would go through the steps to remove malware described on the link that I have already given you, do not skip the preparatory work. If the machine is then be clean, manage your startup to remove the entry.

Start Orb > Search box > type: msconfig and when it appears in the results area above, right-click and choose 'run as administrator '.

If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click on continue. Then see what is on the Startup tab. You don't need to restart immediately, but next time you do, you will get a dialog box saying that you have used the utility. Usually, it will be blocked by Windows Defender, and you need to allow it to run so that you can then check the box that says in effect, "don't mind to this subject again".

Important - do not use the System Configuration utility to stop the process. Use Services and stop all services, unless you really, really know what you're doing.

  • LAN/WAN ports not supposed to be Gigabit? Capped at 250Mbps, NOT because of the ISP LAN devices.

    Hi all

Have a bit of a problem here. I have Internet Fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) with Bell Canada and have their Fibe Gigabit service which is 940/120 speeds up and down, respectively. I was able to bypass his combo modem/router using a switch connected to the optical network terminal (HAVE) where the fiber cable enters the House (which serves mainly my base modem) and using custom settings of VLAN and DNS in ports specific for my fiber IPTV service Bell and receivers work together through my router.

So, I have a few routers that I tried this with to try to solve my problem. My Asus RT-AC5300 and others have no problem with having me my subscribed speed - certainly through devices connected to gigabit LAN and also via WiFi on compatible devices. But I'm not concerned about WiFi - it is specifically wired ethernet devices that are the cause. I use CAT5e and CAT6 cables only because he is a Gigabit connection. The issue I have with my Time Capsule (3 to, latest model AC) is that, literally, speeds for gigabit wired devices will not exceed 250Mbps downstream. Download speeds can hit 125Mbps without problem. Why is this? Is there something my Time Capsule prevents leave the LAN ports operating at gigabit full transfer speed? It is not only a device - I have multiple gigabit devices I tested, on all three of the TC ports, and none of them exceed 250Mbps. Yet when I connect them to another router gigabit, such as the Asus I've described but also others, they have no problem hitting 900 + Mbps downstream on the exact same network configuration and Setup at home.

Thanks for any ideas, comments or suggestions. Y at - it a setting I have accidentally enabled that is the cause? I had much rather use the TC of the most convenient airport for my network I was planning on getting multiple Airport extreme to position around the House to cover literally home WiFi and LAN bridges through the simple installation of these devices, but I do if I can't use my fiber subscribed speed.

OR maybe I have a defective unit. Thanks again for the help!

    See you soon

The issue I have with my Time Capsule (3 to, latest model AC) is that, literally, speeds for gigabit wired devices will not exceed 250Mbps downstream. Download speeds can hit 125Mbps without problem. Why is this?

Apple AirPort routers have been designed to work with the cable standard and DSL connections.  The fiber is the new ball game, and Apple knows yet how to play the game, let alone to understand the rules.

Most of the problems associated with connections to high speed on airports is a result of the decision of Apple to eliminate any kind of manual settings to manually adjust the speed of the WAN port on the router... and are based rather on an "Auto" setting.  Automatic adjustment seems to work pretty well on the fiber up to approximately 100 Mbps connections, but the WAN port is struggling to negotiate with high-speed connections when it is connected directly to the fiber. LAN ports can also be affected.

Some users have reported that insert a Gigabit switch between the connection of the fiber and the Time Capsule or AirPort Extreme has helped with speeds. The theory here is that the switch can negotiate with the fiber connection much better than the WAN port on the Apple device.  If you have a handy Gigabit Ethernet switch, that it could not hurt to try this "Workaround".  Other users report no benefit when they try it.

Yet when I connect them to another router gigabit, such as the Asus I've described but also others, they have no problem hitting 900 + Mbps downstream on the exact same network configuration and Setup at home.

The time Capsule is not directly connected to the fiber connection, so it OK to talk and negotiate with what he sees as a 'normal' a conventional router connection.

Don't forget also that the 802.11ac products were designed before 2013. Current products have not changed since their introduction in June 2013.

The bottom line... Apple needs to decide whether it wants to be an actor, or leave the routing other players company established. Such what, Apple is far behind the curve... my opinion.

While it might not hurt to take the time Capsule to an Apple Store to check over the machine, you might want to ensure that they have in fact a fiber connection high speed to test.

I already had a review Logitech where sits the NSZ - GS7. Now when I turned it off it stops the IPTV box, then I need to unplug it to get started. VIP 1225 should not be stop, where can I change the remote affecting to not turn off the VIP 1225?

    This configuration might work

Motorola VIP 1225 (uverse)-> SONY STR - DN1000 APR-> NSZ - GS7-> BRAVIA SONY KDL46-XBR9 where TV glasses would be superimpose all the outputs of the receiver instead of just the box 1225 APR VIP?

  • BT Vision (UK IPTV / Internet)-+ Multicast Unicast on same port wired?

    Hello

I recently bought a Nighthawk R8000 to replace my BT Home Hub 4. Everything goes fine until I checked the BT Vision service I have. This box uses the internet standard and multicast for television services.

The problem I have is that I can only have one or the other work at any time. So if I set up IPTV to cable port 4 bridge mode I get TV multicast channels but lose the standard Internet features.

If I then disable bridge IPTV mode I get internet services normal but lose the multicast channels.

Is there a mode / setting etc. that supports two IPTV multicast and unicast traffic to the same cable port?

It feels like this should be possible, I'm not sure what method to achieve this.

    See you soon,.

    Wayne.

  • R7000-can not get to work with iptv

Hi, I have problems to make my r7000 working with plusnets iptv... Recently signed to it and they sent me their shitty router that feeds their iptv perfectly but I can't figure out how to get the nighthawk for this...

Current firmware 1.0.4.30. in advanced settings, there is an option allowing to the VLAN / bridge I had some success using: iptv works for a bit, but not internet traffic outside of iptv is passed to the youview box - so can't watch netflix etc. It stops also work after I have change the channel so it does not seem in any case the right fix

PlusNet cannot provide me details for tag vlan, so don't know not where to go from there... every time I have activate the Internet is not just connect - tried VLAN 10, 101, 301 and the thing that I could think of...

I read that there is an option to enable the VLAN / IPTV on some firmwares, but I don't see "enable VLAN / Bridge" on mine.
This feature is still supported on the R7000? or would be running DD - WRT work?

And we have a solution! Flashed the CFW, a quick reboot of the router, and a bit of higgery pokery - work with enabled IPTV YouView.

Here's a note in case others run into this forum and fall into the same obstacle. These are the settings you need once you have flashed the CFW:

You must configure 'Enable VPN + connection DHCP' to 'No' to the terms of the WAN option.

    Parameters used were:

-Have the router to the latest firmware: 3.0.0.4.374.130

-Use the following settings in the LAN > IPTV:

-"Select the ISP profile" = None

'Choose the Port STB IPTV' = None

    -"Use DHCP routes" = Microsoft

-"Enable routing multicast (IGMP Proxy) = enable".

'Enable the effective transfer of multicast (IGMP Snooping) = enable ".

    -' UDB Proxy (Udpxy) = 0

I hope this proves use for others in the future and thank you for all your help.

  • How to stop the MC of the recording on the disc in live TV

While watching live TV source IPTV or DVB Tuner WMC saves files to
    .. \TempREC\TempSBE.
I don't want to record and watch TV online simply because it fills
to the top of my little drive on this systems shipped and it only clears the reboot.
How can I disable the which?

    Thank you

If you built it yourself, you should put a bigger drive in there, if you guessed it pre-built, you should complain to your vendor for not providing enough disk space to support the basic features. I disagree that an on-board unit is no need to pause and rewind. Not sure I could watch TV without this ability more.

I suggest that you take a look at this link on Hack7MC. Most people want to increase the size of the memory of recording, not reduce, but the technique may work in reverse.

Of course the registry change is at your own risk.

  • Problems of configuration of IPTV, WRT1900ACS.

Hello. I have big problems getting my IPTV to work with my WRT1900ACS. I'm failry certain that it has something to do with something in the router configuration, but what and where is the question. VLAN? Port forwarding? If I go with my cable ISP directly on the uses of the socket of the TV, it works, but as soon as I go through my router, it doesn't. Everything else works, and after reading about this a little bit on the net, it seems almost obvious that I have to click or configure something in my Smart Wifi of Linksys. I'm a lot of people thought have had these problems and in the hope that they were able to solve them.

Someone has good directions on where to start? I'll also call support for IPTV, but since signals will be mainly done in the router, my guess is that they will not be able to solve. I'm really grateful for any help I can get. I had so many technical problems the last few months, I don't even start taking place with them here...

I live and the Sweden and the IPTV provider's Viasat. The box is a Samsung.

    Kind regards

    Thomas

  • Router EA6700 + IPTV

    Hello!

Is it possible to assign 2 ports in the router EA6700 for my IPTV devices?

If you speak of VLAN tagging for IPTV, the EA6700 does not support that. Take a look at the ASUS routers because they support VLAN tagging for IPTV.
