IPv6 relay error

I have a router Extreme Apple with Version 7.6.4

I just got internet access high speed of Brighthouse using the router/modem Arris.  The Arris router turned into bridge mode.

BrightHouse says that they only IPv4.  Can I disable IPv6 on my Airport Extreme?

Or another option to correct the error?

Using AirPort Utility, in the Internet tab, it is set to DHCP.  If I go under 'internet options' and then configure IPv6: automatically; and the IPv6 Mode: Tunnel.

My devices can connect wirelessly and get fast connections.  The only question really is the orange light is flashing on my Apple Extreme.

Any help is appreciated.

Thank you

John

BrightHouse says that they only IPv4.  Can I disable IPv6 on my Airport Extreme?

Try the following

Open AirPort Utility

Select the AirPort Extreme, and then click on change

Click on the Internet tab

Click the Internet Options tab

IPv6 configuration for Local link only set

Save the changes

AirPort Extreme update

  • Can not get GPS through AMA0 data

    Hi Tom,

I'm unable to read data from the GPS using AMA0. I was hoping that you or someone else might have a few suggestions...

Everything seems fine using the TTY cable and the USB port. I can launch 'gpsd' and read the data using "cat/dev/ttyUSB0 '. "gpsmon" also gets data OK.

When I wire the UART on the GPIO builtin GPS, I get nothing. The command "gpsmon/dev/ttyAMA0" returns a few seconds with a message "failed to Select (2).  The command "cat/dev/ttyAMA0" crashes, as it doesn't do anything. I checked several times and seem to have the correct changes in the files/etc/inittab and/boot/cmdline.txt. I also checked the wiring, and everything seems OK: GPS is powered, establishes a fix, etc. I even tried the continuity of the follow-up on the wires; still, everything seems fine.

I tried running 'gpsd' interactively as suggested on the GPSD troubleshooting page and get the following:

    PI@raspberrypi ~ $ sudo gpsd/dev/ttyAMA0 - n - N - D3 f /var/run/gpsd.sock

    GPSD:info: launch (Version 3.6)

    GPSD:error: cannot create IPv6 socket

    GPSD:info: starting in 2014-06-23 T 17: 36:42.000Z (1403545002)

I get the IPv6 socket error when running on the USB port too, so I don't think that it is important here. Because baud rate 9600 is communicated, I guess that the GPS is to talk. I get the same results with 'gpsmon' and 'chat' like when I run 'gpsd' like a demon.

Using 'dmesg', I see the following:

    PI@raspberrypi ~ $ dmesg | grep AMA0

    dev:F1 [0.529731]: ttyAMA0 to 0 x 20201000 (irq = 83) MMIO is a PL011 rev3

I would appreciate any suggestions on what to try next... No one else in the forum seems to have this problem, and I have exhausted other sources of Pi. Using the Java ME code gives the same results. Thank you...

P.S. FYI, I ran in a "Segmentation Fault" error during the shooting to the top "sudo. / usertest.sh'. Java ME 8.1 resettlement seemed to remedy...

    Hi Tom,

This has proved to be a hardware problem. I tried to connect the GPS module directly on the GPIO pins and things worked well. I traced the problem to the socket on the test set-up; specifically, the RXD pin had no continuity between the socket and the Board of Directors. I pulled the plug and then reset had continuity again. Somehow, the header RXD pin was not making contact in the test set-up, even if it has not been folded and seemed fine. Strange, and certainly not what I expected...

    Thanks again for your help,

    Dave

  • Error of IPv6 with BT Infinity

    Hello

I've just hooked my Aiport Exterme via a modem Draytek Vigor 130 to BT infinity, and the MONKEY displays the following error message, I'd be concerned or click "ignore this problem.

Unless you are using IPv6, remember that your AirPort Extreme is configured to use the "Link-local" setting only for IPv6.

You can set by using the AirPort Utility:

    • AirPort utility > select the extreme > change
    • Internet > Internet Options > configure IPv6: link-local only
  • Time capsule 'unexpected error' despite the reset and the IPv6 local link configuration

    Hello

I try to use a time capsule that I have not used for a long time to backup my mac.

I have adware on chrome and safari that I cannot get rid of (trovi) despite several attempts (extensions, resets etc.)

I decided to upgrade to el capitan, so that I could use software removal that does not work on Lion, but now I can't save because time capsule gives me "error unexpecetd".

I have reset the TC and I configured link-local IPv6, but am still having the same problem.

Anyone know if it is a question can be resolved?

    Thank you!

It is possible that software that you download to help get rid of the adware etc... blocking the work TM... affects a lot of bad a antivirus software on Mac OS. McAfee is one of the worst.

What operating system are you currently using?

There is no need to upgrade... but it is necessary to clean install.

Download and use Carbon Copy Cloner. You can use it for free for a month... I highly recommend you do the backup on a USB key connected to the Mac, so it can be made bootable... and then can be tested immediately.

You can use the TC and the backup to that... but you can't boot from network drives.

I can recommend you to do a clean install... just wipe the mac and start again... It's extremely better than any software removal tools.

  • Relay switching with error entries. Requirements?

I am brand new to NEITHER. I would use Labview (graphic language rather than software) from a PC to relay Board interface. The entrance will be a single microphone for operation sequential relay (up to 16 relays). Also, there should be a programmable delay relay, as well as the error input capabilities.

Can anyone suggest a start-up package, and what would be required for this design.

    ConradH,

You want someone to do the work for you or you want to learn LabVIEW, e/s material and the design of the system yourself?

You mentioned LabVIEW and relays, but were not specific about what other equipment or software you have.  You have some sort of input device and digital outputs?  If so who?  What type of relay? What are the power requirements for their reels?

What is the range and resolution of the delays? What are the initial and final conditions for your system?

You should start going through the tutorials online on LV

There are several examples showing how to make digital and exit entrance.  Those who would be good starting points.
