IRobot and Bluetooth adapter

I continued working on my IRobot Bluetooth project.

I used the HC-06 to create a Bluetooth for IRobot jumping on the connector adapter mini din.

My code Labview outputs through to a Comm port UART, but my computer has no built in Bluetooth.

If I had to get a HC-05 and connect it to the computers Comm port, could I speak to the robot via Bluetooth. If so what exactly should I get to continue this project.

I would say, as I suggested earlier, a FTDI USB to 3.3 v logic as serial adapter this USB-RS232-WE-1800 - BT_3.3

If your computer has a com port serial RS - 232 on it and you want to use. Next, you need to build a level shifter using a chip like a MAX3232 and four capacitors. https://pdfserv.maximintegrated.com/en/DS/MAX3222-MAX3241.PDF

  • wireless keyboard and mouse with Insignia bluetooth adapter

I have a Pavilion 23-h024 all-in-one with Windows 8.1 and trying to pair my keyboard mouse to a 4.0 Insignia bluetooth adapter and wireless. When I go to the settings of the PC and click on Bluetooth he searches for devices but does not stop and never find all of the devices. Does anyone know if I'm doing something wrong? The adapter of the Insignia would not be a updated driver for 8.1?

Nope. The dongle and the associated keyboard and mouse are coded to work together as a set.

It's time to pick up a bluetooth or wireless Clavier\souris combo set.

You will be probably better to choose a wireless set.  Check out the review sites.

  • WiFi radio adapter off, the USB ports does not and the Bluetooth adapter is no longer visible... Please help!

I had my laptop Dell Vostro repaired under insurance in January 2013 after a spill of liquid.  HAAC Ltd. has replaced most of the laptop - but the return, the SD card did not work.  This seems to be due to the engineer he connects not properly and the company recommended it and returned it to me again.  A couple of months, I found my USB was temperamental - so is my built in Bluetooth adapter.   Last month - the wifi does not work for most of the time either so I have to connect to my router by wire.

This could be a problem in windows 7 - all my problems seem to be related to network adapters.  If it's a hardware problem - does anyone know if it could be another loose connection?  HAAC Ltd. only give a 3 month warranty on parts that seems just a little.  But if this anomaly is due to the production of poor quality - that is not properly connect the laptop then I'll go back their again if they are responsible.

By the way – there's a switch wifi on the front of the laptop - but is not currently be recognized.

If anyone has settings that I could check that can help - especially if some inhibit the use of wifi.

    Thank you very much

    Hello

Your wifi switch not recognized is probably a hardware problem. The rest could be a hardware or software problem.

    Method 1:

Lets start by doing a reset to coercive. Follow these steps:

    1. Unplug the notebook (remove power cord), then remove the battery.
    2. Disconnect all USB devices and the connections between the USB ports.
    3. Let the laptop only for several minutes.
    4. Then plug the power cord without connecting the USB devices. Then replace the battery.
    5. Plug each device in turn, allowing them to load the drivers of devices one at a time (plug in the appliance and wait its loading all its drivers before installing the next USB).

The computer recognizes the USB ports? All of them or none of them?

    Method 2:

Open Control Panel, Manager of design. Click the view tab, and then click Show all devices. From there, you can remove all instances of USB devices and restart the computer to see if the problem resolves. Repeat this procedure with the wireless adapter (uninstall and reinstall, ensuring that there is only one instance of the wireless adapter).

    Method 3:

Create a new user account by following the instructions in this article:   http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/Windows7/Create-a-user-account . Does this solve the problem?  If the problem is resolved in a new user account, this means that the old user profile is damaged. Here is the link to repair a damaged user account: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/Fix-a-corrupted-user-profile.

Try these methods and post your results here. I'll be here waiting for the results!

  • USB Bluetooth adapter problems

    Hello

I recently got a new Toshiba Tecra S1 (PM725) and an adapter Bluetooth usb (with More4you software).

But I can't make it work with my nokia 6310i

I installed new battery BT (Bluetooth Stack for Windows by Toshiba (3.10.00).

Analysis of my nokia BT Manager, but when I want to connect to it, it immediately disconnects (after that I supported on accept connection on my nokia pairing) and the BT Manager gives the error: a not to connect to the following service: Dial-up networking. Connection request failed.

I only installed the BT stack (from dir... BT package /US/) because when I run the installer from the main dir, it does not recognize my BT adapter. He keeps asking to put the int bt adapter.

I had once it works, but with the next time you start it failed once again.

    Could you please help me?

    Hello

Therefore, it is very difficult to say what the problem is. In my opinion, it is very important that
-Adapter USB Bluetooth is installed correctly and working properly
-Nokia must be added and installed as a new modem
(The Nokia modem driver must be installed)

It is not easy to help you because More4you and all settings and options there are unknown for me.

I think before you start doing anything check there at - it problems with the USB adapter. Next step is the installation of the Nokia modem driver. I'm sure you have some CD or you can download it from the manufacturer's website.

Please be careful with COM ports (you can use the standard port). In my case the standard port was COM 40. The same port, you must choose to install the modem driver.

Try again. I'm sure that there is a problem with the settings. Check all out them again.

If you discover that a problem was it please write again.

    Good luck

  • Is my BlueTooth adapted Satellite?

    Hello
I would like to know if my Toshiba Satellite has built-in BlueTooth.
I tried what the other questions on the forum said and still can not understand it. I checked this link as http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/bluetooth/?page=howto well (as you suggest to someone else)

The info from the model is as follows:

    Satellite A215-SP5811
    Series No. 68217087 K

If this is not the case, can I simply connect a USB Bluetooth adapter? Must be a specific?

In addition, (outhside under the heading of Toshiba, but maybe you can help me too :) you guys get to know if I can download pictures from a BlackBerry to a computer that does not have the BlackBeerry software installed?)

Thanks a lot for your help!

    Hello

Detailed specifications for your model mobile, you can find HERE.
I can see under communication BT is not listed for your laptop is not delivered with the BT module.

USB BT adapter is the right solution. You don't need specific. Talk to your local dealer and pick up information that is best for you. With the USB key, you will get a driver and probably some utility that can help you to connect to external devices like your mobile phone.

I also believe that you don't need to install a specific application for the transfer of data. I have Motorola phone and I transferred all the photos on my laptop with the BT software only.

  • Jabra A320s Bluetooth adapter not recognized by Toshiba Stack

Hello, I have a Jabra A320s Bluetooth adapter (Broadcom Bluetooth 2.0 EDR dongle) and after the installation of the battery of Toshiba Bt 5.0.1 for Vista does not recognize my device. Ask me every time "If please, plug the Bluetooth device and click on the Ok button" and my Bluetooth device is pluged. I have no problem with my adapter Linksys Bluetooth 1.1. Also, I previously installed stack Broadcom and the drivers for my Jabra A320s (obviously, I now prefer the Toshiba one), I uninstalled it and I got the same message "Please plug in the Bluetooth device and click on the Ok button" configure the stack of BT from Toshiba. Can someone help me?

    Hello

This seems to be a problem of the current Release v5.10.01. This will install only on the internal modules.
In order to work properly, you must first install v4.xx.xx. After that your can reinstall v5.xx.xx without problems.
This way I got it on my side.

  • Is it possible to recharge an iPod Classic when using a Bluetooth adapter?

I recently bought a bluetooth adapter so that my music on my iPod classic to play via a bluetooth speaker. However, I'm worried about the battery in courses run is used throughout the evening for a party. Is there a way using the adapter and load cycle at the same time? Thank you

If the Bluetooth adapter is the type that connects to the iPod dock connector (not the headphone jack), you can't charge the iPod while the dock connector has the Bluetooth adapter connected.

    Hello:

According to the list of parts for your laptop, it has an Atheros wireless with bluetooth card or a wireless card broadcom Bluetooth, so those who are the only two drivers without wireless/bluetooth, you should try.

It would be better if you knew exactly which Wireless adapter you have, so there is no worry about the bad driver causing the problems.

    http://PartSurfer.HP.com/search.aspx?SearchText=A9L96PA

HP wireless assistant software is not compatible with your model.

Your model uses the latest Connection Manager HP software that does the same thing, as does the HPWA software on notebooks.

This package provides the connection manager HP for the notebook models and operating systems.
