IRQL_Not_less_or_equal BSoD

Hello

For about a month, I get a BSOD with this error message on my laptop. Little often. If I use my computer for about 12 hours a day, sometimes once or twice. I read about the issue, but it seems that any solution I have to first download the dump files and whatnot. I ran the Verifier under the direction of Patrick Barker in this thread: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-performance/windows-7-irqlnotlessorequal-minutes-after-login/3d5a3035-93c7-42cc-b3b5-6daf26253be9

I don't know exactly how I'm supposed to solve the problem after using Driver Verifier, but here are these files:

Minidump: http://1drv.ms/1G0KN9h

These are all dumps from 20/12/2014. That's when he began to show upward with regularity

My system specs are:

Laptop model: ASUS N61jq Series Notebook

OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

Processor: Intel Core i7 Q720 CPU @ 1.60 GHz 1.60 GHz

RAM: 4 GB

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

My computer has recently been blocked every time the screen goes blue and it says the cause of was irql_not_less_or_equal, has happened four times now, I have reinstalled my graphics drivers from AMD, twice, twice the completely uninstalled and then reinstalled, it still happens so I don't think that is the problem... even though most of the posts online say that it is probably the cause. It happened once in game, and then all other times happened while on Skype and I watch a video, or alt-tabing out a game on, most of the time Skype. I can only run in Mode safe mode, Normal Mode, my laptop goes down after a minute or two. The last thing I did before it crashed was install LogMeIn Hamachi. It was December 2013, so I don't know if it is a known problem with latest version of Hamachi. • X 34 gel, restarting and BSOD

    Windows 10 64-bit and strix 980ti

PC had no problem with the old monitor.

X 34 is causing games to freeze, restart the PC and sometimes bsod.

    I got "irql_not_less_or_equal" bsod a few times.

I reinstalled the drivers, I tried the drivers aged, switched cables DisplayPort and devulcanization back to no sync g / 60 Hz and it continues to do. Seems to be more common in fact.

Will connect it via hdmi later and see if she always does.

    GPU is not overclocked.

I have disabled synchronization of g and he played very well for a few hours.

Then I turned sync g turn there was down and there is not yet.

Do not know what is past but turning sync g market has worked so far.

On a side note, be careful with the DisplayPort cables, had a "premium" one of the microcenter who had the 20 pin, which is the power... He kept my fans and LEDs on when I turned it off.

I think that this power were the cause, but he kept pass after that I changed it up by disabling synchronization g.

  • help with drivers intel wifi 4965AGN causing BSOD on Windows 8 because Intel released an update & also KMODE_NOT_HANDLED BSOD

    Hello.

Someone at - it solutions to this problem? It keeps causing an irql_not_less_or_equal BSOD associated with the file netwlv64.sys.

I've upgraded from Vista to Windows 8 and Intel drivers are version 13.4.0.139. I contacted Intel and they tell me that they release an update for Windows 8.

I don't want downgrade to Vista but will if there is no solution.

I have also experienced the BSOD KMODE_NOT_HANDLED which, from what I've read is due to pilots not working is not on properly on devices. I have disabled these features because they have too no update for Windows 8, and they are only for a memory card reader that I cannot live without, but is it normal for a fix of the problem KMODE BSOD?

    Thanks for any help.

The first few weeks, I got Windows 7 32 Bit on my Satellite Pro P300D 201, it worked fine. But suddenly, there was a blue screen with the label "reference_by_pointer" I've tried to stop as usual. I have not installed any new software a few days before (just a few updates "Windows Update"). Now this apears blue screen every time I try to stop. Hibernation and energy saving still work.

But, sometimes when I connect my mobile phone "Sony Ericsson K800i" using the USB connection and the "Sony Ericsson PC Suite 6" it is "irql_not_less_or_equal" blue screen.»

I don't know if theres something wrong with the RAM/working memory, but I can't think because this computer is brand new and it never fell down or something like that.

I'm sorry for my bad English, I'm still learning.

    Hello

Perhaps Windows isn't compatible with your software up-to-date and causing this BSOD. You should try to use the restore system to a previous state.

Also have you updated the software for your mobile phone? Maybe it's not compatible with Windows 7's again. Visit the site of the factory for an update.
I have the same phone but I m using MyPhoneExplorer which works quite well on Windows 7 but I m using the Bluetooth connection and not on the cord.

Drivers could be at fault, however the problems of disk or security/antivirus/antispyware products are
just as likely to be the root cause that they can force a driver to corrupt or go out of bounds.
The video driver or something affecting it would be questionable.

At the end of this message, I'll post a bluescreen generic and in the next convenience store
How do to update the drivers and BIOS but also to check memory message.

    -----------------------------------

    BCCode: 0a 0x0000000A

    Cause

This bug check is issued if the memory paged (or invalid) is accessible when the IRQL is too high.

The error that usually generates this bug check occurs after the installation of the faulty device driver or service system, BIOS.

If you encounter a bug 0xA control during the upgrade to a later version of Windows, this error can be caused by a device driver, system service, an anti-virus or a backup tool that is not compatible with the new version.

    Solve the problem

If a kernel debugger is available, get a stack trace.

To resolve an error caused by the faulty device driver or service system, BIOS

    1. Restart your computer.
    2. Press F8 to character-based menu that displays the choice of operating system.
    3. In the WindowsAdvanced Options menu, select last known good Configuration . This option is most effective when a pilot or a service is added at a time.

To resolve an error caused by an incompatible device driver, system service, virus scanner, or backup tool

    1. Check the system log in Event Viewer for error messages that may identify the device or driver that caused the error.
    2. Try disabling the cache in memory of the BIOS.
    3. Run the diagnostics of equipment provided by the manufacturer of the system, in particular the scanner memory. For more information about these procedures, see the manual of your computer.
    4. Make sure that the latest Service Pack is installed.
    5. If your system has cards (SCSI) small computer system interface, contact the card manufacturer for updated Windows drivers. Try to disable sync negotiation in the SCSI BIOS, check the wiring and the SCSI ID of each device and confirming the proper termination.
    6. For devices (IDE) peripheral electronic integrated, set the built-in as only primary IDE port. Also, check each IDE device to the right setting master/slave/stand alone. Try to remove all IDE devices except for the hard drives.

If the message appears during installation of Windows, make sure that the computer and installed devices are listed in the list of the products tested Microsoft Windows market.

    Comments

Before upgrading to a new version of Windows, remove all third-party device drivers and system services and disable any antivirus. Contact software manufacturers for updates of these third-party tools.

  • Cannot start Vista somehow without BSOD, including Mode without fail & last known--IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

I don't know exactly what the cause of the problem, but I have a feeling that it is a driver problem. I don't know why the problem started, I've had a laptop where the monitor came out on this subject so I photographed the hard to VMware, I never started an operating system that has not been installed in native mode via vmware before so I thought there may be errors.

The first time it booted up it starts normally, the Windows Activation came, although I do not know why I have reactivated, and he says that it needs to restart. I restarted and it said it was installing 10 updates - after the updates done, it restarted and then any startup mode, I choose to get exactly the same problem blue screen of death.

I searched for hours a reply - all, I access the Startup Repair tool command prompt. I think it's a driver issue, but I don't know how to uninstall the drivers from the command prompt.

It is vital that I have fix without restoring the system or in a Format that I need all programs intact with their original settings. I probably just need to uninstall all the drivers and install them again.

Best to check also with VMware Support and forums.

    ----------------------------------------------------------

Drivers could be at fault, however the problems of disk or security/antivirus/antispyware products are
just as likely to be the root cause that they can force a driver to corrupt or go out of bounds.
The video driver or something affecting it would be questionable.

Make sure that BIOS driver low-level chipset and drivers are all updated by checking manually
system manufacturer and device manufacturers sites.

    BCCode: D1 0x000000D1

    Cause

A driver tried to access a pageable (or that is completely invalid) address while the IRQL was too high.

This bug check is usually caused by drivers who used a wrong address.

If the first parameter has the same value as the fourth parameter, and the third parameter indicates a runtime operation, this bug check was probably caused by a driver who was trying to run code when the code itself has been paginated outside. The possible causes for the error page are:

    • The function was marked as pageable and was operating at an IRQL higher (including obtaining a lock).
    • The function call was made to a function in another pilot, and that this driver has been unloaded.
    • The function was called by using a function pointer that was an invalid pointer.

  • BSOD irql_not_less_or_equal randomly in the last 2 days

    Hello

From yesterday, I get the bsod - irql_not_less_or_equal. It produces random intervals (20 minutes to boot to a few hours).

I installed new hardware in the month.

This does not seem connected to the process running at the time of the accident, but I don't run games or anything too heavy cpu/ram (chrome/Skype for most).

I watched the recent driver updates and there is nothing more recent, then a week (well before the problem started) but I could have missed something.
I don't have any other antivirus addition MSE (seen this happen in other discussions).

I tried the digitization of the RAM and the HARD drive, but no error came.

Maybe I was hoping that someone can point me to the right direction.

  • Have BSOD recently, need help! "error"IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL"

Since last week, I was doing a BSoD at least once a day. On the first there would be about 10 hours between the BSOD, but little by little they have been getting more frequent, because I get them at least once every 6 hours now. Recently, I activated the option Save .dmp files. Yesterday, I ran a memory test and a test drive, no errors in one or the other. I ran a memory and hard drive test and no error came. In addition, the blue screen is moving much too fast for me to see when it appears.

    Here's my .dmp files

    1: http://www.speedyshare.com/cnpJT/121314-124894-01.dmp:550:0

    2: http://www.speedyshare.com/8NZ2s/121314-61620-01.dmp

I opened with a program called 'blue screen display' and they say that they were caused by "ntoskrnl.exe" and the other crash by "hal.dll".

Bug control channels are the two "IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL"

  • BSOD on first start since February 17, Win 7 64 bit - IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

As of February 17, I had a BSOD whenever I first start my machine (at roughly the screen black with the Windows logo, but before than the blue welcome screen) - this is an IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

The machine reboots and asks if I want to enter a mode of recovery or start normally. In fact, the recovery mode doesn't have the only time where I've tried, but the machine boots normally if I choose to boot normally to the usual "Windows did not start properly" black and white screen.

Processor is an Athlon II X 4 620
    2 x 2 GB DDR2 RAM
Catalyst 13.1 running ATI 5750 512 MB graphics card (later non-beta, AFAIK)
via the USB port (but unchanged for months before the show):
    3 x external hard drives
    Xbox 360 controller
keyboard and mouse are plugged into the PS/2 ports via USB to PS/2 adapters

Nothing has changed except the last raft of Windows updates 13, which caused a problem or something fell. First start always travel on - same question on the 21st, 22nd and today. However, after the initial accident at the start, asking to start Windows normally results in all the fine to come and stay there until I have reboot (same collision model) or turn off, and then again the next day (same model of collision).

I'm afraid that this is the beginning of the end for my machine, but all this modern bar game installs (curse you DRM) is saved on my drives external is not a total disaster if it will die.

    Any ideas please?

Some drivers of Norton Internet Security are active at the time of the accident.

Try to uninstall Norton Internet Security and see if the problem resolves.

Then you could reinstall Norton Internet Security.

  • Another BSOD error: IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

    Hello

I want to thank you again for my previous question answered and fixed. Apparently, it was the faulty motherboard and I've updated so that now there is no problem with my previous BSOD. Until just now.

I just got an error at the time when I played in Skyrim. He was going well until all of a sudden the screen went distorted and static with graphic artifacts all over the screen and eventually BSOD with error "IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL" I see myself on this problem happened to me before, but I don't don't know where to start with. This morning I made the backup using Windows backup on my hard drive and yesterday, I upgraded my unit of graphics card from Nvidia GT 440 to ATi Radeon HD 6670 but yet before I did, I uninstalled all of the Nvidia software on my PC before grooving in the new ATi. And I scanned for malware using Malwaresbytes Anti-Malware and F - Secure Internet Security, no infected files or suspicious software at the end of the scan. I hope you guys could understand by taking a peek at my crash dump file. Set in the .zip file contains the dump file and dxdiag report just in case.

    Crash dump file

A bit of luck with it? I hope that you guys can understand this.

    Thank you!

To identify what loads when you start using Autoruns (freeware from Microsoft).

With Autoruns, you can deselect an item which disables startup, or you can click with the right button on an item, then remove it. If you clear the check box that you can check back for re - activate the element. It is an approach much safer than editing the registry and better than using msconfig.

Another useful feature of the program is that you can click with the right button on an item and select search online to get information about the selected item.
