Is a Wireless Optical Mouse 5000 a plug-in replacement for the supplied mouse as part an integral of the Wireless optical Desktop Pro?

Hello

Question title:

Is a Wireless Optical Mouse 5000 a plug-in replacement for the supplied mouse as part an integral of the Wireless optical Desktop Pro?

I have spoecifically need to know if it has exactly the same features of the IntelliPoint and know if it will work with the transmitter/receiver provided with the Optical Desktop Pro wireless.  I know that the OM 5000 is provided with its own transmitter/receiver, but I don't want to have more than one on my desk.

Thank you

Boo

Hope this information is useful.

Well it is obviously not useful to say that you do not know!

Let me know if it worked.

For someone else who has a problem with the IntelliMouse provided as part of the Wireless Optical Desktop Pro (which is a Wireless Intellimouse Ex plorer 2.0 is told by the way), then they may be interested to know that the Wireless Optical Mouse 5000 works very well with the dongle WODP although the pointer speed necessary to decline slightly with one I had.

  • Adobe Flash plug-in facilities for the compulsory training courses

Hello.. We have an environment that uses IE 11 on PC under Windows 7. There are about 300 users who will need to take this training. The problem is, the Adobe flash plugin requires administrative access to install. There are others who use different browsers, but most of the time IE 11 is used. When I tested it on we could not launch the course without the plugin and we could not install the plugin without administrator rights. Another in my Department thinks that it will install without admin rights, but from what I experienced after testing with multiple users, the installation of the plugin on IE browsers requires admin access. I would like to know if there is a more fast/best way to get this plugin installed without doing it manually on all machines in 300?

The version of Flash player on each PC varies, some need to be updated, but some are the most common available for the OS from W7.

    Thank you

    Hello

Yes, Flash Player written in protected directories, as such, need administrator rights.  However, according to your post, it seems that you distribute Flash Player in your org.  If so, you will need Flash Player to license for distribution (free for most use cases).  Once you apply for a license, you will have access to full installers MSI and EXE that you can use to distribute Flash Player via any number of tools of software, such as Microsoft SCCM distribution, among others.

Apply for a license to go Adobe Flash Player Distribution. Adobe

More information on the distribution of Flash Player are available in the Flash Player Administration Guide.

  • try to get the transmitter replacement for my wireless keyboard USB

I lost the USB transmitter/receiver for my wireless keyboard/mouse set, trying to find where I can get a replacement for him without having to get a new keyboard & mouse just for only a transmitter/receiver.

    Transmitter/receiver says "Microsoft 2.4 GHz transceiver v2.0"

    Thank you!

I talked with Microsoft today and, Yes, the person who answered said that there is NO replacement for the receiver, and I have to buy a new set upwards.  After asking to speak to someone who had technical knowledge and don't get any then I asked a supervisor.  I've been waiting for several minutes, but I wasn't going to give up.  Finally, an answered and after a supervisor explained that I knew something to computing, he offered to send me a brand new unit, for free.  And upward that broad, he said he could only make the order and it would ship me in 1-3 days.

The number I called is 800-360-7561, option 2.  Make sure you ask to speak to a supervisor, as people who respond do not have any idea.  They read just out of a script.  I hope this helps someone out there.  Microsoft wants to keep their ccustomers elements and will do what it takes to keep them.

    Hello

looks at it's not going to work. Wireless products are programmed to be used with a specific key, so they won't work on another dongle.

  • Track issues with the Wireless Mouse 5000 bought with Wireless Comfort Desktop 5000...

Just bought a Microsoft Keyboard and Mouse (Wireless Comfort Desktop 5000). For some reason any mouse is pointing upwards and is not followed correctly. What seems to be the case after a few minutes of use tracking becomes unstable and it feels like the mouse pointer is delayed and begins to jump around the screen. It is even more evident when I start trying to drag windows around the office and if I drag too fast it starts to "hiccup" (best I can describe it) and it seems to miss a few frames per second that I am dragging to the desktop. I noticed in games, especially the FPS, quick turns because of the mouse to lose track, and a second, I'm facing forward and the other second I'm back, with no apparent transition between the two. I tried to disable the accuracy monitoring, but to no avail... For any help or suggestion would be appreciated...

I use Windows 7 Professional and have no such problems with 8 year old Logitech wireless mouse, this keyboard is replacement.

I know this is an old thread, but I can see nowear where the problem has been resolved.  I have a Logitech wireless mouse on my laptop and a thread on my desk, both had the same problem. The problem has been solved for me using just a mouse pad, no problem since! This answer may be there somewhere but I didn't fall on it even from Microsoft (surprise). Incidentally, my mousepad is often a sheet of A4 paper on a clip board. If someone actually reads this please let me know if it was any help.

    Hello

    Please, try the following steps:

    1. go to Device Manager, find the optical mouse, right-click on it and then uninstall it.

2 disconnect the receiver wireless mouse and disable the mouse

    3. restart your computer and onto your desktop

    4. turn on your mouse, connect the receiver wireless to your computer and wait FOR Windows to detect and install the driver for it. It is important that you let it ends correctly.

5 restart your computer and check to see if the mouse works.

In addition, check the batteries in the mouse, make sure the receiver is firmly in place, etc...

  • Wireless Comfort Desktop 5000 guard reinstall drivers

I have a Wireless Comfort Desktop 5000 keyboard and mouse. I use it with Dell n5110 laptop with Windows 8 Pro x 64. It worked great for 2 months, and then about 2-3 weeks ago I started having issues. I didn't install new updates of Windows since initial OS install on 21.04.2013 until yesterday 22.07.2013.

Mouse (also referring keyboard) sometimes does not work after sleep. I guess it happens after sleeping longer, cause I just tested it with little sleep and she continued to work. I usually kept the dongle in the USB2 port. I could make it work by plugging in 1 of the 2 port USB3 or by unplugging, reboot and then put it in USB2 port.
Whenever I move between USB3, USB2 and eSata/USB2 combo ports I get a popup saying:
You must restart the computer to apply these changes (now restart / restart later)
I can move it one USB3 port to another without popup.
I have the latest version of the software Microsoft Mouse and keyboard Centre and all the important Windows updates installed. No idea what is the cause and how can I make it work normally
    ?
Here are four events that happen when I plug the dongle on USB2 port, maybe he give you some info on the question

I could get the mouse in case of failure after sleep now, so tried to get rid of the popup message after the passage of ports. I uninstalled the software Microsoft keyboard and mouse Center (it prevented the installation of the pilot of IntelliPointPoint, by saying that the most recent version is already installed) and all the USB controllers (had 3 of them). Controller drivers got automatically installed, rebooted and then installed drivers IntelliPoint with Win 7 selected compatibility mode.
Now popup seems to have disappeared, I hope sleep problem happen as well. Thank you!
BTW, that step 2, method 3, substep e contains "e) connect the control of the camera for the question. Could change that.
