  I bought HP DeskJet 1112, which is advertised as a wireless printer. I don't know how to do wireless. I installed it as it is written, but the software in the CD provided and that in the HP site is 1110 series.  Whwn I unplug the cable USB of the PC does not see the printer.   I have a Laserjet P1505 (not 1505n) a Net Gear N600 dual band Router router with USB port and printer. I tried to connect the printer USB cable to the USB port on the router and installed the printer on the laptop (a Windows Vista) I'm trying to save up for a wireless printing capability. The updated drivers from HP Web site, set to turn on printer 'sharing' but the printer does not appear in the network and sharing Center. Have directly connect the printer USB cable to the computer laptop USB port to print from the laptop.

  I missed something or cannot print via the router P1505 (without the "n")?

• HP Envy 5530 wireless printing

  I recently bought the HP Envy 5530 for wireless printing after a terrible experience with an Epson wireless printer. Set up the printer on my desktop running Windows 7. The printer is connected to the desktop computer with a direct line-in (not of wifi capable office) and the printer is connected to my wireless network by connecting it to the router (Apple Airport Extreme). The printer connects, it appears so when I check the router (via Apple Airport Utility on my Macbook Pro) as well as tests of what the printer does it for wireless connectivity.

  Despite be connected to the wireless network, the printer does not register anything. I can't print from my iPhone or my Macbook Pro. The printer will work with the line-in directly on the desktop. I was wondering if what he touched, I deleted the line hoping wifi printing would be available. Not the case. The iPhone and Macbook both "send" the document to print, but nothing ever happens. All of the tools provided by HP diagnostic show that everything works fine. The router is about 10 feet to the printer and the printer indicates a high signal strength.

  Thank you for visiting the Forums from the HP Support! I see that you're running into some problems when trying to print on your HP Envy 5530 from your iPhone or your MacBook, it shows as connected but do not print. You have not the 5530 connected with a USB to your computer Windows and you have no problems.

  You should not have problems with both wireless and USB connection. There seems to be some sort of communication wireless with Mac problem, so let's go and start troubleshooting it:

  First I want to make sure that the printer is properly connected to the router Airport:

  Install your HP printer on a network with Apple AirPort

  Follow the steps and I would like to know if you are now able to print to your HP Envy 5530, I'll watch for your reply.

  Last year, I bought an all in one HP 6500 printer with wireless capability. I didn't need the feature wireless at the time for my desktop wireless of not so I just wired it. I just bought a HP dv7-4065dx3 laptop that has a built in wireless capability. My ADSL modem is a 2wire which has 4 ports and router combined with it. A new laptop wireless and everything which works very well.

  How can I get the printer hung so he can speak my laptop wireless via Wi - Fi connection and always use it direct connect on the desktop. I'll have to put a wireless card in the desk top or can I just leave it hard cable? The printer manual implies it can be hung one way or the other, but does not really my topic specifically.

  Well, it was not difficult, and now the computer laptop dv7 4065dx have connected wireless to the Officejet 6500 E709n.Had temporarily connect a USB cable to install the sw and initialize the printer. Then at the end of the dialog box, it says when to disconnect and gave me the ability to send a test page. Super!

  Cannot take the credit, I found the instructions on the HP site on printers. I not save address but should be able to find by searching. I used the newly downloaded driver who really is a complete suite of sw for the HP printer. Big file allow so time to let it uninstall the old sw and load the new. The name of the file is optimize setup 1031.exe ver 1.0.0.0 and is 191 MB... Good hunting.

  PS: Another interesting feature of the program is installed, it is that, at the end of the installation, it asked if I wanted to connect to the wireless printer. Since I didn'dt to basket any return upstairs to the printer, he let put this feature on hold and placed an icon on the desktop as a reminder to add the wireless printer.   What I would do is put off the printer and the router so

  -essentially them turning off for about 10-15 seconds

  -and then feed the router back on waiting for all the lights turn on completely

  - and after that is back in the market I would re - turn on the printer and re-establish the connection between the printer and wireless network

  Run Firefox version 9.0.1 (all at the time of upgrade to 8.0.1) on a Windows 7 PC. Just installed a HP Officejet 6500 a wireless printer.   Although I don't print that much that I was upset not being able to use my third HP printer & swear will never buy another... I was determined not to go out and buy a new printer 'and yet' as this one is only 2 years... Then this morning am went searched around HP site & downloaded a HP detection program (?) whatever it is to see if I could find/fix the problem myself... Once I downloaded that I scanned files to update for the printer and ran that & YES made it & I did not have my coffee in the morning, but either... Happy OK now not need to buy a new printer 'yet '... CKD my FF plugins & there is a plugin for my printer YES... Problem solved this day until next time... TY

  No, what's that I know he needs my wi - fi connection but the problem has been resolved by a cat HP assistant. Apparently it is a password that is printed on the first sheet printed automatically after setting up and it is this number that I had to enter. Everything works fine now thanks!

  Open AirPort Utility

  Click on the image of the time Capsule

  Click the Edit button in the window that appears

  Click on the menu of The Base Station ... up where you see the icon Apple, file, window, help and other menus at the top of the computer screen top

  Click Add a WPS printer

  

  There are two methods available... . First of all try (which is identical to a button press the Time Capsule) and PIN, using a code. Choosing the right method according to the instructions provided in the installation Guide for your printer.

• HP5740e all-in-one: Deputy HP5740e Print will not add wireless printer

  I recently had a problem where printing of pdf documents is out as unreadable solid ink lines. I have it narrowed down to only occurs with specific policies and only a reader of pdf special and only on my hp printer. I suspect that this was due to software updates, but I don't know if it's windows 10 updates or updates of adobe or some other updates. Now I just avoid using the fonts of the problem.

  In any case, an attempt to solve this problem, I decided to uninstall my 5740e hp software and reinstall the software in the hope of resolving the problem. Unfortunately, it has not fixed the issue but left us with a problem even more serious.

  Having resinstalled the software I couldn't add my printer as a printer wirelessly from the HP Print Wizard. He added fine as a usb printer and a web printer but not wireless.

  I added the printer wireless via the windows & Panel devices configuration printer OK. It prints wirelesslessly and via printing web so physical connectivity is very good.

  I really want that he recognized by the HP Print Wizard so that I can scan from the office.

  When I go to add the printer as a wireless printer, it detects the device OK showing its ip and mac, then goes on the installation of the printer and comes back with the unsuccessful installation of the device, and shows the red x between the router and the printer.

  Any ideas? It was working fine until I reinstalled the printer software.
