It is more a problem of HP will support drivers. Apple does not create or develop drivers for the hardware OEM, unless the brand like Apple.  OEM supply drivers for Apple and Microsoft for inclusion and distribution in their BONES ', or by download from their OEM support site. Usually, the best source for the latest drivers is the site of the OEM.  According to HP (door series, 3236371, model, 3236374 http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/HP-Scanjet-G4000-Photo-Scanner-s), the latest version of the OS they currently support for this scanner is 10.10. • El Capitan does support multiple iTunes accounts?

    Hello

As I was updating my Macbook Air (2011) to El Capitan, I was asked of my Apple ID before even downloading. I suspect that the identifier Apple is baked into the OS now, so I wonder: will I be able to use another Apple ID in iTunes store?

I have two iTunes store accounts, one to the United States and the United Kingdom (I have lived in both countries and are in need of some regional applications of these two stores).

    Thank you!

Apps are for always related to the Apple ID used to obtain them.

You have the same Apple ID for updating applications.

You sign an ID and then connect back with the good Apple ID

  • El Capitan does support MS Office for Mac 2008?

I have MS Office for Mac 2008 installed on my MBP that is running Mountain Lion.  I am considering upgrading to El Capitan, but wonder if MS Office 2008 is always executed with this upgrade.  I'm reluctant to upgrade to the current version because of the expense of MS Office, and also my wife prefers to stay with the version she knows well.

I suspect that I should ask this question on a site of MS, but starts here in the hope that someone will have a quick answer before I allow myself to Ms.

    Yes, he does.

    Yes.

  • What versions of are the numbers 09 (v2.3) and Pages 09 (v4.3) supported by El Capitan?

I use OS x 10.8.5 on a MacBook Pro for mid-2010 and my Twitter account has transferred me to Twitter Mobile (as it says that I'm on an older version of Safari) and it's driving me crazy.  Before moving to El Capitan (which I hesitate to do, anyway, I read the comments) I need to know what versions of numbers of Pages and words are supported because they are more important than Twitter and I am struggling to find information.  Thanks in advance :-)

Numbers and Pages will be automatically updated to their latest versions. They are respectively 3.6.1 and 5.6.1. Their documents will be the same way for compatibility with earlier versions.

See Microsoft for support with their products. To help other users, I know Word 2011 will work, and Microsoft has released a number of updates to compatibility of El Capitan.

Assuming that you have already used to regularly back up your system, you can evaluate El Capitan at no risk and no cost. If you will not back up your system, you should. Get a bolt of lightning, FireWire or USB external hard drive for your Mac, then download and install El Capitan on it. You can choose to start your Mac from this disc or the internal using Boot Manager (hold down option while you start your Mac) and evaluate El Capitan without any risk whatsoever to your existing installation. Just be sure to designate the appropriate for El Capitan, installation location when you get to this stage of the installation.

Running OS X from a disk external hard is not as fast as an intern of the Mac, but it will be enough to draw conclusions about its suitability for your needs.

A disk drive external hard with sufficient capacity can be purchased for well under $100 - far less than the cost of some updates OS X previous themselves. When you trust yourself that El Capitan works for you, 'clone' contents of the external drive on your inside one, and then use the external drive to backup purposes - which you should do anyway.

  • I'll always be able to run the opening after upgrade to El Capitan?

I want to install Office 2016 on my MacBook Pro which is running 10.9.5 - it asks me to upgrade to El Capitan. I'm afraid that Aperture will not work more.

On El Capitan, you need opening 3.6.  You are currently running opening 3.5.1 or an older version?

Before you upgrade to el Capitan make a full time Machine backup of you system so that you can return to the Mavericks, if need to be.  (see: OS X El Capitan: revert to a previous version of OS X)

And check if you are able to update to 3.6 opening.  Check before upgrade you to El Capitan.

    • Open the App Store and sing in your account in the Store with your AppleID menu.
    • The fourth "shopping" tab  Figure opening it to your purchase history?  If so, you can update opening 3.6, once you have upgraded to El Capitan.  If the opening is absent from your purchase history, you will only be able to update with the help of the PapSTore supported.

3.6 the opening is the latest version of Aperture and the only one to run on El Capitan.

There are more and more questions with an opening. Opening 3.6 is running on El Capitan, but keep accumulating the minor bugs.

And you can order are no longer produced printouts of Aperture. Apple has stopped completely, the support for Aperture print products in any version of Aperture.

  • How to use PowerPhotos to perform a migration of Aperture for photo

We are running Yosemite and openness. We have about 10 Aperture libraries, some libraries have about 6000 images.

We have the Photos app on our Mac but don't use it yet.   What workflow we should follow to upgrade to El Capitan and migrate from Aperture for the Photos using PowerPhotos.

I have been informed that we should first upgrade to El Capitan.   But I don't know how to use PowerPhotos to help us in this migration.

I read on the PowerPhotos site below.

"If you have a lot of existing iPhoto or libraries to open that you want to migrate Photos, PowerPhotos will help automate your migration if you do not have to spend time to care for children of this long process."

It's a good question for FatCat (authors of PowerPhotos) support or study Chapter 7 of their manual - https://www.fatcatsoftware.com/powerphotos/Help/table%20of%20contents.html

Our trusted list of RAW formats supported by the opening has not been updated for some time: http://www.apple.com/aperture/specs/raw.html

None of the devices in Digital Camera RAW Compatibility Update 6.17 for El Capitan are on the list of compatibility to Aperture.

I am pleased to say, that my new Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FZ300 RAW format works well in opening 3.6 on MacOS X 10.11.3 El Capitan nevertheless.

I would like to hear if other cameras for the latest Digital Camera RAW Compatibility updates also work well in opening 3.6, despite being not shown is not in the list of the opening, but work as part of the El Capitan: Digital camera RAW formats supported by OS X El Capitan - Apple Support

  • Can upgrade us opening 2.1.4 to 3.6 for El Capitan use

I have Aperture 2.1.4 running on my aging MacBook and you want to upgrade to 3.6 so that our photo library can be used on my wife of the new Mini Mac running El Capitan. At some point we will have to address what photo editing option move us but would rather a few months delay. Is it possible even if Apple is no longer supported in Aperture?

The upgrade to Aperture 2.1.4 opening 3.6 is a purchase. And Apple has stopped selling Aperture.

3.6 opening has never been available outside the Mac AppStore, so you can't buy it anywhere.  The installation discs for Aperture 3 on Amazon or Ebay will only install early versions of Aperture 3, which cannot work on El Capitan.

You will need help from Apple's Support to get a copy of operation 3.6. But they will probably tell you that there is nothing they can do.

But you can open and browse your Aperture 2.1.4 libraries in the News Photos for Mac, that comes with El Capitan.  It can migrate Aperture 2 libraries.

Photos is not as versatile as Aperture is, but it will migrate most of your metadata, albums, changes, so you can access your photos while you try to find a replacement for the opening. See: How Photos handles content and metadata from iPhoto and Aperture - Apple Support

The only way I've found is to get it on Apple's developer site, but I'm not a developer.  Apple how to flip the switch to the Mac App Store so that it shows up on top of my list?

  • Upgrade to El Capitan in Yosemite

I have a fairly new MacBook Pro running Yosemite. I was going to upgrade to El Capitan, but now he me Sierra offers instead. I don't want to do because of the risk that £500 dollars worth of software (File Maker Pro 11, final draft 8, Office 2011) will stop working.

My office is running El Cap, and applications above all work fine.

In my view, there is the ease of upgrade to El Cap, but he seems to be reserved for people running older versions. Do you think I can upgrade using this path? Or everything will go horribly wrong?

    Thank you
