Is it all the same to recover the lost tabs when they were not part of the previous session?
Basically, I close firefox with all my open tabs and then did not realize that a window was open. I closed the pop-up window without thinking about it, and now when I click on 'restore previous session' it restores just the a pop up.
The usual method is:
(1) exit Firefox normally, and these changes must happen:
- Recovery.js is moved to the folder sessionstore-backups on the main level of the profile folder and renamed sessionstore.js
- Recovery.bak is deleted sessionstore-backups
(2) Once Firefox has stopped updating things, and rename sessionstore.js sessionstore.old
(3) copy the file that you want to restore and rename sessionstore.js
(4) start Firefox and it should read sessionstore.js and move it to the folder sessionstore-backups as previous.js
It works for you - are the tabs old restoration-able?

26 of Firefox does not load the home page. Instead, it load the previous session, regardless of what has been entered in 'Options '. The browser runs in Win 7.0 64 bit; Norton Internet Suite 21 provides security features. There are some solutions 'cloud', also running as Google Drive, box, Skydrive and Cubby. The browser behaves in the same way in all my machines (installation and the OS is similar to that described above) and no amount of reset 'Options' seems to affect it. Nor is it affected by the way that Firefox is closed. This is obviously a bug that should be fixed.
You can check if you have a user.js file in the Firefox profile folder that affects the pref browser.sessionstore.resume_session_once true value.
You can use this button to go to the Firefox profile folder:
- Help > troubleshooting information > profile directory: see file (Linux: open the directory;) Mac: View in the Finder)

Original title: restore the follow-up case
am usind windows vista and I found the track record, when I deleted it I lost all my videos folder, and when I checked in the Recycle Bin that they were not there.is there a way to restore?
Hello
Once removed the HDD data can't be recovered. However, you can use your favorite search engine to browse third-party data recovery software and use this software to recover data.Note: Using third-party software, including hardware drivers can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the use of third-party software can be solved. Software using third party is at your own risk.

There is no trace of the previous session, to the title of the menu bar. I know it's common, I hope someone has a new response.
Thank youThe xtra74pv.default file is the Firefox profile folder, if the file is in the right place and needed to be moved.
If you have an older version of the sessionstore.js file from before the crash then you need to replace the current sessionstore.js with the old copy to see if brings back the lost tabs.

Please note:
1 - my homepage is set to 'white page '.
2. I configured Firefox does NOT remember my browsing history, download history, form fields, and passwords.

I recently had to rebuild the computer and reinstalled the photos. I have photos imported into Lightroom, but the parameters associated with the photos, that is to say. When they were developed, are not there. How to import these?
Default LR stores all changes in the catalog file, not in the pictures. So if you have a backup of your original catalog you will need to copy on the newly rebuilt system and open it in LR. You will then need to recreate a link to the images in the catalog depending on where are your images and where the original LR catalogue think they are.

Opened the previous session.
InDesign CS6
When I open the new document, always open to the top of the last work first.
Why InDesign opens the last session, all the time, and how to fix it?
The lock file is not the problem. The problem is that not you close the windows document before leaving InDesign and your OS X system prefs are set to restore the windows of the previous session.

Home page search is not working / not Possible to restore the previous Session
After the last update (version 29), the home page of default Firefox search bar has been completely non-functional. If I hit enter or press search, nothing happens. Another (possibly related) problem is that the button 'Restore previous Session' is never present. I can also restore the previous session by clicking on the option of history (it is always grayed out).
When you look to the top How to start safe mode, I discovered how to reset Firefox to its default value of the plant. I did it and Voila! Problem solved.

Question
I can't get the tabs of the previous session of the return when I reopen it Firefox. I tried closing with 'Close' header of Firefox window, but also 'Quit' in the file Menu. Note that "Restoration of previous Session" on my Menu history is grayed out so I can't use it. In addition, there is no tab at the top of my window to open Firefox Firefox - only a menu bar that shows "File", "Edit", "View", "History", "Favorites", "Tools" and "Help". I am running Windows 7 Home Professional and Firefox 4.01"I can't do the tabs from the previous session of the return when I reopen it Firefox.
Remember that you are not private browsing or they are in permanent private browsing mode. See: https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Private%20Browsing (2nd and 3rd options menu on this page)
Make sure that you are not clearing history during a session or when Firefox is closed. See:
- Clear recent history: https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Clear%20Recent%20History
- Clear history of Firefox closing: uncheck 'Clear history of Firefox closing' options > Privacy panel (the first item under "History" on this Panel should be set on "Firefox will be: use the custom settings for history" to see that point to uncheck)
"There is no Firefox tab at the top of my Firefox window open - only a menu bar.
The Firefox button is supposed to be on by default in Vista and Windows 7.
In Firefox 4, you have the choice of using the Firefox (orange or grey) button in the upper left or the menu bar (File, Edit, View, history, Favorites, tools.) Help).
- The selections on the Firefox button are distinguished by the menu bar options.
- You can easily switch between the Menu bar and the Firefox button or leave one or the other active.
- One used depends on if the Menu bar is enabled
- Bar menu checked = Bar Menu on, Firefox off button
- Bar menu unchecked = Menu Bar off, Firefox button on
When the Firefox button appears and you want to temporarily view and use the menu bar, press ALT or F10 displays the menu bar and you can make your selections in the Menu bar displayed temporarily.
To check (or uncheck) the menu bar, do one of the following:
- using the Firefox button: click on the Firefox button > Options > Menu bar
- using the Menu bar: click on view > toolbars > Menu bar
- Hold DOWN the ALT key while pressing the VTM keyboard letters

Firefox does not save my tabs from the previous session, although I have chosen in options, to save my tabs from the previous session.
Firefox 4 saves the previous session automatically, so it is no longer necessary for the dialog box asking if you want to save the current session.
Use ' file > exit ' or ' Firefox > output "If you want to restore multiple windows.
You can use "Firefox > history > restore previous Session ' to get the previous session at any time.
There is also a button 'Restore previous Session' on the default on: Home home page.Another possibility is to use:
- Firefox/tools > Options > General > startup: "When Firefox starts": "show my windows and tabs from last time '.
Make sure that you do not remove the navigation, search and download history on Firefox to clear the browsing history when you close Firefox.
