  I agree with you, I also own a500-1dn and it makes big noise even while surfing Internet. This forum was suggested to update Bios to reduce the fan noise.

  As you say there is a preinstalled Toshiba HWSetup tool which can be used to change some BIOS of some settings. But what a way to change the settings of the BIOS to the Windows operating system.

  So, I had to extend the views JHS and then adjust the extended objects.  I then made a substitution of the view and performance is now much better.  Both views and basic are not granted. Most are, based jhs_translations views were not.

It can apply of course also different contour styles at the same time. Having the style defined as 'At least' also allows multiple line entries to still have the correct spacing above and below.
