    I have recent data of 2009,2010,2011. When I use LY YTD it returns the complete data of the CDA instead of year last to this day.
    For EX:

    A report contains: location, YearToDate, LastYearYearToDate
    CDA: from 1 January 2012 to 31 July 2012
    LYYTD: Since January 1, 2011 to July 31, 2011
    For the latest data LYYTD: Jan 01, 2010 to July 31, 2010, it returns the data for the entire year instead of until July 13, 2010.
    Is there a formula I can apply on the column to return only the data up to the date of today for the last years?

    For 2011, I applied the formula of the FILTER (measure. ("" SALES "with the HELP of cAST (Time.Month # as int) < = MONTH (CURRENT_DATE)) and it works only for 2011 and not for the years 2010, 2009.

    It's a little more complicated than that.

    If the message is sent as an iMessage (blue) uses the data that could be part of your cellular data allowance or WiFi depending on what you are connected to. If it is sent as SMS (green) it takes however your carrier charges you for SMS.

    For a message to be sent in an iMessage, both parties need to have a device capable of iMessage (e.g., iPhone, iPad, Mac), iMessages allowed to have (settings > Messages > iMessage > on) and be connected to the data (Wifi or cellular).

    I see a lot of information on how to edit the local Hosts file on individual computers. But, is it possible to edit a Hosts file and have effect throughout the network?

    We have a network of a little over half a dozen of Mac mini, who take their DNS information from another Mac Mini running the application server OSX (under El Capitan). This server is the primary DNS machine for the network. I want to implement a Hosts file for the entire network.

    Parental control seems to be broken in OSX El Capitan, so this seems like the best next to us, short option to buy some third-party service, which I prefer not to do.

    I think that dnsmasq installation on your Mac server and configuration of all your computers to use as your "DNS Server" will achieve what you want.

    Well, unfortunately, the article says more bad than good things. Or if I can't call them wrong, they are rather confusing and rather than clear things for the reader, its making them appear to look more confused.

    First things, YVERT is used for read consistency (CR) mechanism and the backbone of the notion of Multiversioning. The control point is the mechanism to help that recovery is decided. Contrary to what said article, not any kind of checkpoints update both the data file and the control file, and also, there is not a type of them as well. In addition, the article says that the LAST_CHECKPOOINT is set to NULL, while its actually set to the infinity since it is not possible to detect the moment when the database is opened, that the last issue of control over the file would be. In the case of complete control point, this number is saved and is also associated with the toa Controlfile own database leader at the next startup. If this is not the case, there is an inconsistency in the stop_checkpoint of the data file and the stop_checkpoint reocrded in the control file, leading to a recovery of the instance.

    There are several types of control points. Similarly, there are several types of SNA as well. Without going into the details of these, IMO, the article simply means that when the control point write over a file passes, oracle updates the file checkpoint on it and this is recorded in the Controlifle. as well.
