I would like to be able to view a PBS DVD on my computer while I'm on vacation without taking the DVD along. Is this possible?

  • Is it possible to copy a dvd to wmv form through Windows Media Player? (+ 1 point)

I tried pretty much everything recommended for me to 'friends '; However, I still do not get the expected results.
I'm trying to scan my collection of dvd to wmv format. (Accessible through the media center and download movies on my zune.)
Yet, I must find a way, or someone to explain to me in words SIMPLE, (and an easy to follow step by step to do this.)

The other request I have is this...

Is there a way to change the file types in windows media player?
I have a few videos of my children that I took on my cell phone. I found a way to access these videos and download on my laptop... but want to know if there is a way to consolidate the wmv files and maybe make a video of the short clips. (I heard that windows is a free movie maker/editor available.

If there is someone who can help me scan my dvd collection and explain the file change for me in terms SIMPLE, of (color as); then I would be happy.

No.... Windows Media Player cannot convert (Rip) your DVD collection.

Take a glance at the article following... it can help you get started:

  • Is it possible to stream DVD of ICloud instead of iTunes home sharing via my computer?

I would like to be able to download my DVD somehow so I can play them all Apple TV (gen 4) instead of airplaying them or having to maintain the computer to share the home of my iTunes (latest version). As it is, if I want to watch a DVD, downloaded on my Apple TV I must select COMPUTERS and go into my library to select the movie and then keep my computer over time. I managed to download a DVD on my Icloud player hoping to be able to stream the DVD from there nothing doesn't. I do not understand why this is the case and am unable to find any resources that explain the case however, I'm rather new to all this and perhaps, I not looking in the right places. Second of all, why can't I just go to the MOVIES on Apple TV and find them there with the rest of my movies as opposed to strictly buy films he and others else where; they are all good movies? Put them in the category FILM (it is more a problem of Apple, I guess). Is it possible to stream my DVDs to iCloud instead of iTunes home sharing via my computer? Any information or guidance would be appreciated thank you for taking the time to answer my questions.

When you look at the top row of the applications the homescreen are apps from iTunes Store.

So the only films - purchased are one you purchesed from iTunes. It is the same for other applications in the same row.

Focus on Plex to broadcast your own films as an alternative to the use of computers on the Apple TV.

  • Can I copy CD DVD-recovery and start?

    Hello

    I need to know:

Is it possible to copy DVD-recovery on hard drive and then do a fresh install?
I did it in another computer. Put the hard drive inside the USB box and copy DVDs to recovery from another computer.

My laptop does not start a DVD (so far I can't find a compatible DVD-driver to replace the old and damaged - optical driver Toshiba say: no!).

The old optical driver was UJ - 831S
I bought: TS-L532A CSEL (after flash it inverted csel master OK, bat after formatted hard drive the bios doesn't recognize the optical driver, once again). Then, without windows, without optical driver, because that is not possible the flash.

I bought: UJ - 850 and the BIOS don't recognize it (I use the latest version of the BIOS)

    A80 - 131 have boot USB!

    Thank you

    Hello

Well, it s very interesting question.
As far as I know on the Toshiba Recovery CD you will find a ghost to image files.
Usually it of possible to start up from the CD but I have never tried to use these files with Norton ghost utility.

But theoretically, you can try to place the files ghosts since the recovery CD on the second partition of HARD drive and then you can try to start the restore with Ghost utility procedure.

As I said I put t know if it will work, but you can try it. Please send feedback.
I m very interesting if it worked.

Now for your problem of disc; Looks like a non compatible drive. It happens because of the master/slave/c-salt settings. If the drive supports bad settings of the BIOS does not recognize the drive. In this case, you need a compatible.

  • Is it possible to copy old cassettes to a cd on my MacBook?

Is it possible to copy old cassettes to a cd on my MacBook?

Not sure on a Mac, but it is possible under Windows, so it should be pretty similar. You will need a type of software that you can use to connect to a cassette player. You also need some hardware to go between the cassette player and digitize the signal and then save them on the computer as an audio file to the computer. Once you have done this, you can burn the audio files to a CD. You will need to check the features of the Mac and then see what other types of software and hardware that you need.

  • A60-106: is it possible to upgrade the DVD/CD-RW combo

Hello. Anyone know if it is possible to upgrade the DVD/CD-RW combo on my A60-106? There is nothing wrong with the origonal, but DVD write speeds also have multiplied since I my A60. I burn a lot of discs, and any increase in speed would be a major asset. If the upgrade is possible, am I limited to real Tosh or is there any of the third-party available-based jobbies. My current drive is a Pioneer DVR-K13A.

    Thanks in advance.

    Brian

    Hi Brian,.

You can certainly replace your optical drive with a new. You will need to ensure that the new disk is the same size as the original (i.e. its physical dimensions), and uses the same connectivity as your original (master, slave, or Cable Select). This last point can be problematic, because very few third-party resellers list actually what setting of their readers.

As for the actual burn speed, you can see that other factors will affect this. you will find many posts in these forums related to the low burning rate.

    Good luck

  • Is it possible to copy a Blu ray to my iTunes library?

I want to copy my blu ray to my iTunes library. Is this possible?

iTunes has a feature to "Rip" video disc, as it does for music CDs.

It is possible, but it requires conversion of the movie disc, which is considered illegal.  Therefore, it is not a topic appropriate for the discussion forum Apple owns and operates.

Beyond that... you need DVD Authoring software. The
    following freeware is an example:

If you have the full version of Roxio I guess
It has an option to copy a non-commercial DVD.
If it's not... see the following information:
