Is it possible to download an earlier version of iTunes
I want to be scrapped version 12.4. Is it possible to download a previous version?
I must say that this is the worst edition of iTunes so far. NOT very friendly and now you can't customize how you want to show your stuff.
FYI Apple "Geniuses" - if it takes more than 3 clicks to access an area, people tend to leave. Lucky you have trapped us with iTunes, right?

I am a registered owner of Lightroom 6 but my old computer (PC) is dead and is seemingly irreparable... I just bought a MacPro and would like to know if it is possible to download the Mac version 6 on it without having to pay for another license.
Hi Charlay,
Yes, you can download Lightroom on your Mac computer from this link: Install Photoshop Lightroom
And you can then activate Adobe programs on two machines, you will be able to activate it without having to buy it again.
Kind regards

my iTunes is on my laptop HP addition running Windows Vista. (32 bit not 64) It is not able to upgrade to Windows 7.
When I plug my iPhone to sync with iTunes, it gives an error message saying that I need to download the latest version of iTunes. When I try to do, I get a message saying that my iTunes is up to date with the latest version of iTunes? If my laptop is running vista only she does support the latest version? If this is the problem I wish iTunes download center say the my device does not support the latest version of iTunes. the version I currently have is the only one my device is available for download.
How to access my library iTunes other than buying a new laptop
IPhone WILL not work with Vista. It is not supported. Can't remember where I saw it, but there was something about Windows Vista not supported for iPhone SE. I'll keep looking.
Found at the bottom of the iTunes download support page. Download iTunes 12.1.3 for Windows (32 bit)
This update allows you to synchronize your iPhone *, iPad * or iPod touch with iOS 9.x and earlier on Windows XP and Windows Vista PC.
* iPhone OS and iPad Pro (9.7 inches) is not supported on Windows XP or Windows Vista.

I've updated iPhone 9.3.3 and iTunes for 12.4.3.1; both the latest versions
But iTunes does not recognize my iPhone, why?
Where you say that you need to download the latest version of iTunes? What is a ToolTip that appears in iTunes when you connect iPhone to your computer? Because if this is the case, iTunes detects your iPhone. So where is the problem? It won't let you not sync to iTunes? It won't let you save with iTunes?

Download the latest version of iTunes with Windows 10
I can not download the latest version of iTunes with windows 10 to my laptop. I get the following message "the feature you are trying to use is on an unavailable network resource" I don't know what that means. Any suggestions?
Hello RavynnG,
Looks like you have a problem with the installation of the latest version of iTunes on your Windows computer, the error message you describe. Is this correct?
This sometimes occurs when the Windows registry has conflicting information on software are installed. One of the users of Apple for support communities - turingtest2 - has written a useful resource for this situation, found here - troubleshooting problems with iTunes for Windows... | Apple Support communities
Specifically -.
The following steps should remove the reference to a file missing .msi Windows Installer Service trying to access when installing iTunes.
- Press WinLogoKey + R, type Regedit in the Run dialog box and then press enter/return.
- Click on Edit > find, type the name of the file .msi problem, for example itunes6464.msi, change the boxes look so that only the data is checked, and then click Next. You should find it somewhere:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Installer\Products\ {long string of letters & numbers} \SourceList - Right-click on the parent key immediate with the long string of letters & numbers that contains the list of sources with the reference to the .msi file, and then click export, save it to say the office with name iTunes.reg if the data can be restored if deleting it does not help. Now right click on the key again and select delete from the context menu. This should prevent the Windows Installer to search for the .msi file when you reinstall iTunes.
If installation will not yet pass by then double-click on the file iTunes.reg that you did to restore the data in the registry, and then use the method shown to install missing components to unpack the installer of your previous iTunes installation, then extract the .msi file, you need. Double-click this option to try to uninstall the component. There are links to recent versions of iTunes in the section of the older versions .
Once completed, you should be able to run the iTunes Installer, you can download it from this location - iTunes - download iTunes - Apple

If I download a new version of itunes, I lose my music library?
If I download a new version of itunes, I lose my music library?
Debby,
I answered this question on your other post, but if you want the answer here, no you won't. You need to stay connected and all your songs will be there, unless something goes wrong, which is rare. If that were to happen, you can always get it back by signing into iTunes and then going to section purchased from the iTunes store and re - download everything.

Our ITunes library is on an old laptop running Windows XP. We want to stop using this computer and want to move the ITunes library to our new computer laptop. However, due to the age of the current laptop, we seem unable to ITunes backup properly, or to download the latest version of ITunes. Therefore, we cannot share the music. Tried to put music on our IPod, copying over to the new laptop, but that did not work or the other. We get an error on the source files. Any suggestion would be appreciated.
You must download and install iTunes 12.1.3 - this is output from output of sequence that enables support of iOS 9 for XP and Vista users (but lack of music to Apple and other features added in 12.2/12.3, which requires Windows 7 or a later version).
- iTunes 12.1.3.6 / XP or Vista 32 bit: iTunesSetup.exe
If you simply want to transfer your iTunes library from your old computer to the new, you don't need iTunes to support it, unless you need consolidate the library as a preliminary step - see How to move your iTunes library to a new computer - Apple Support for more information.

I downloaded the latest version of iTunes on my pc, running Vista, and after downloading a podcast for a year now the error "stopped (err = 3259).
Look at the response from Apple to 'disable firewalls' doesn't sound like too his opinion to me - maybe to download a new version, but a weekly podcast - is it safe? It's for real?
Other suggestions are listed here.
